2003 Sunshine West Showcase
Fiore is a smaller than average catcher with a solid defensive approach and a good eye at the plate. He showed us a good swing and line drive hitting ability. He was able to get his bat around on good pitching and shortened his swing when behind in the count. He appeared to have a more natural swing from the right side but showed good bat-speed from both sides. His footwork and arm were quick on his pop times and it looks like he could improve his pop times as he gains strength in the future.
