Perez is a small bodied athlete who profiles as a second baseman. He’s light on his feet and has good first step quickness. Perez hits from a slightly open stance from the left side and has an opposite field stroke and showed us the ability to make good solid contact in games, flaring a couple of hits off of high level pitching. He definitely would benefit from adding some more strength to his hands and upper body. He runs fairly well, has good actions and excellent instincts. He's going to hit at the next level.
