David Sharpe is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 165 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral HS. Long, slender build, projectable strength. Funky low 3/4's delivery, whippy arm, live FB to 83 mph, lots of running action, lives low in zone, will get under CB at times, effective style. Good athlete, can swing the bat, some gap to gap power and quick hands. Good student. He was named to the top prospect team at this event.
