Jeff Bertucci is a 2006 third baseman/outfielder from Griffith, IN. At 6'0", 205 lbs., Bertucci has a stocky build, and wide shoulders. He hits from a narrow, balanced stance. He has no load, or weight shift and swings with all upper body. He has a strong base and needs to use it to generate more power. He uses his head on the bases well. He is smart and he has a good feel for the game. He has a solid glove and good reactions at 3B, with decent range. He has heavy footwork, but he has a quick transfer and makes accurate throws across the diamond. He is still maturing physically and with added strength and speed, Jeff will play a high level of college ball.
