Julius is a very slender 6-4, 175 lb lefty from Indiana. He got our attention quickly by running a 6.96 60, a good indication at his size that he’s a very good athlete and should be able to improve as he gets stronger. Julius has a long, smooth cross body delivery on the mound and topped out at 80 mph with nice sinking action. His curveball and change up both need some work but Julius threw these pitches and his fastball aggressively for strikes. Julius is a very good student who just might be one of those late developing left handed pitchers who just need to gain some strength before it all comes together. Keep a close eye on this tall, athletic lefty in college.
