Matt Beer is a 2010 MIF/P with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Fairfax, IA who attends Jefferson HS. Medium build with strong hips. Clean actions at SS, good hands, will need to quicken lower half. Open stance hitting, level line drive swing, can drive the ball a bit, some bat speed, handles the barrell well, shows hand quickness. Also pitched, simple turn/throw delivery, FB 81-82 mph, good shape on CB, has an idea as secondary pitcher. Well rounded ball player.
