Bryan Vollmuth is a 2008 SS/3B/P with a 6'3'', 195 lb. frame from Biloxi, MS who attends Biloxi HS. He has a lean, athletic build with long arms and tons of strength potential. Vollmuth plays shortstop now but projects to third base at the next level. He's a 7.24 runner and his feet and range will come up lacking at shortstop. He does have smooth working hands and a loose arm. Vollmuth's best tool is his bat. He has a balanced line drive approach from a wide base with a bit of lift at the end of his swing. For a big hitter with long arms, he stays short very well and uses his hands to create bat speed, and very good bat speed at that. The power is going to come for Vollmuth as his leverage and timing come together. Vollmuth is a very good student.
