Brandon Lee is a 2008 C/IF/OF with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame from Mission Viejo CA, who attends Trabuco Hills HS. Lee is built like a baseball player, with a lean and rangy body type that is well-proportioned throughout. His offensive abilities should continue to keep him in the mix as a catching prospect. He hits with a square stance and looked comfortable at the plate. Lee has a some bat speed and showed a good hand path while creating some leverage. He has some gap to gap power potential, with doubles rather than home runs in his future. Lee is an aggressive hitter and may be susceptible to offspeed stuff due to some length in his swing. Defensively Lee showed solid skills. He flashed college level catch/throw ability, starting with a decent transfer and solid footwork. His best pop time was 2.11. Lee's hands are solid and all around, he is a capable defensive player. Lee is an outstanding student with a 4.2 GPA so his skills should get a chance to continue to develop at the college level.
