I just saw a terrible call on a trapped ball by the lf umpire in the CSF and Stanford game. If these guys are the best then college baseball needs to rethink who they put on the field. It could cost CSF the flipping game. Worst call I've seen so far. Where were the other mopes in blue? Oh, that's right, they don't want to show up their bud. What a joke.

I saw the replay, but was the ump in a bad position to make the call. It looked like an obvious trap even at full speed.

Yep. Bad call, and it probably did cost CSF the game. They ended up losing 1-0, but that trapped base hit should have scored the runner who was on second.

The bottom line is you can't win if you score zero (UCLA on Fri) or zero/one (Fullerton last night).

Good still photo on the Fullerton board of the "catch". Draw your own conclusion........
