Dude, we get it. You have cock envy. Just wait until tomorrow and we will dogpile too. I see someone is still a little sore about the series at the Box a month or so ago.

Lol Cock envy huh. So I'm mad that South Caroilna came into Baton Rouge and stole a series from us that in the end didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I think SC would be a little more envious of us especially after coming to their house in 2012 and stealing the SEC Title right from under their noses. Over the last several years LSU has dominated South Carolina. Go look up the numbers. We have won 10 of the last 13 over SC. LSU owns SC, and cant hold a candle to what LSU has accomplished.

Regardless, I'm was just trying to say that its a little premature from your boys to start writing messages about other teams dogpile when they haven't won anything but a game. UNC is no chump team and there is a reason they have been number 1 for a long time this season, and its as if they think they have already punched their ticket.

#1 UNC: Tied 1-1 in supers; plays tomorrow.
#2 Vandy: 0-2 in supers; eliminated.
#3 Oregon State: Tied 1-1 in supers; plays tonight.
#4 LSU: 2-0 in supers; advanced.
#5 Fullerton: 0-2 in supers; eliminated.
#6 Virginia: 0-2 in supers; eliminated.
#7 Florida State: 0-2 in supers; eliminated.
#8 Oregon: 3-2 in regional; eliminated.

Only one national seed has made it so far, with the last two survivors trying to win game threes. Some crazy upsets this year.

not going to lie, rooting for USCe as that would IMO make the most likely title game LSU OSU (should the beavs prevail tonight) and I am sure LSU_Blake is with me on this one, in fact it would probably make the Tigers the odds on faves to win it all... but man would that be an epic series to watch. (although being a pac12 guy my most hoped for title series is UCLA OSU because we know we can beat them 2 out of 3 and already have this year)

So, since PG pages wiped out the picks, the one guy that picked every unseeded/visiting team to win is looking hugely good right now.

Not trying to be a homer, but even if UNC wins I think we are the favorite. UNC has not impressed me and are lucky to even be in the Super Regionals. LSU completely dominated a solid OU team and it was as if nothing was going to stand in the way between them and Omaha. The only thing that concerns me is that all this time our goal was to get back to Omaha, but now that we are there, I just hope they don't lose that fire and get complacent. Its still baseball after all, and all of the other teams who are also there are there for a reason, and are good enough to knock off LSU on any given day. As far as the LSU/OSU matchup, I would be thrilled if it happened. It would be great for us here on this board and would put some quality programs who don't play much against each other into the title game for all the marbles. I don't like the same conferences playing for the title, even two SEC teams. I would rather the best of two conferences go head to head for the National Title. Just so everybody knows though, National Title number 7 would be very sweet for me and my Tigers. Id very much like to add a 13' to my sig.

Scores were not that good. Seeing as we had so many upsets and people usually avoid underdogs in these predictions. Anyway, here they are:
  • 28.0 Hedegoba88
  • 28.0 YellowlabOSU
  • 26.0 BeaverQuist
  • 25.0 beaverstate69
  • 25.0 Florida Beaver
  • 24.0 OpihiMan
  • 23.0 ASU74
  • 23.0 BeaverBob
  • 22.0 Dodger Matt
  • 21.0 OregonG20
  • 19.0 KennyWheatonFTW
  • 18.0 borgguy
  • 18.0 LSU_Blake
  • 15.0 jellafever

Score analysis
  • LSU generated the highest average score (4.69), as 7/14 correctly picked them to go 2-0.
  • Right behind that, were picks of UNC 2-1 (8/14 for 3.77) and OSU 2-1 (only 2/14 for 3.62).
  • NCST 2-1 was correctly picked by 4/14 for 3.08.
Even though we had four favored teams get swept (0-2), nobody correctly picked any of them. Those four are our lowest scores:
  • Five people did pick Virginia to lose 1-2, for an average score of 2.46.
  • Four picked CSF to lose 1-2, but six picked them to sweep; average score of 2.15.
  • Only 1/14 (jellafever) picked FSU to lose 1-2, and five picked them to sweep, for an average score of 1.46.
  • The lowest score of the four swepts was Vandy. They were the overwhelming favorite, garnering 9 votes for sweeping, which meant nine zeros. Only KennyWheaton predicted a loss (1-2). Average score of 0.85.
  • Hedegoba correctly picked three series. Seven others correctly picked two. Two didn’t get a single series correct.
