I just noticed something. Not that it is going to happen, but it is possible that we get teams from eight different conferences in Omaha this year. Fullerton, Rice, Oklahoma, Indiana, Oregon State, and Louisville would have to win, and the last two could be either UNC+MSU or SCar+Virginia.

Indiana looking good over Florida State. Just put their second 4-run inning on the board and lead 9-6 in the 7th.

Indiana holds off a Florida State 9th inning rally to take game one 10-9.

So the underdogs are 2-2 so far, with Miss State holding a commanding 10-4 lead over favorite Virginia.

Also possible that 4 SEC teams go. No other conference can say that. Though it took a hit with Vandy and SC losing today.

Yes, four ACC teams could go. And I was picking them to do so.

Five underdogs won today. Not surprisingly, I am most upset about the Beavers' loss, but I understand most people are probably rooting for the underdogs, and they had their day.

LSU and UCLA punch their tickets to Omaha.

Another national seed eliminated. Didn't expect such a performance from the Hoosiers. Some drama in the 9th, but they get it done and advance to the CWS for the first time ever.

Im happy for these teams like Indiana. Now that they have accomplished the most the program ever has, it gets people interested in the game of college baseball that otherwise would have never gotten a taste of it. Sometimes the sport needs the Indiana's, K-State's, and Stony Brooks to do well, even sometime if its at the expense of the really good teams.

Well Vanderbilt is gone. Louisville, UCLA, LSU, and Indiana have punched their tickets to the greatest spectacle in sports. Of the teams that are going so far, Louisville scares the heck out of me. Great D, Great pitching, and solid hitting. They are hot right now as well and sometimes that alone is enough.

Going to be a very diverse CWS.. If Oregon State loses today, there will be a very interesting field. So far I am calling LSU to win it all.

Fullerton, Vanderbilt, and Florida State: Three national seeds swept at home in the supers. And Virginia and Oregon State trying to stave off the same fate today. Not sure what the record is for nat seeds getting swept in the super era, but three seems high already. Five would take the cake.

Haha Graham Saiko for USC tweeted and said in his opinion, Louisville's dogpile was subpar.

At least they have earned the right to do one. South Carolina has accomplished nothing yet and still has to win 1 more game to get to Omaha.

Dude, we get it. You have cock envy. Just wait until tomorrow and we will dogpile too. I see someone is still a little sore about the series at the Box a month or so ago.
