2022 Top Prospects

Michael Stellrecht  SS - 2022 - East Amherst, NY
Binghamton

Strellrecht is a very good all around athlete who is a 7.2 runner with solid middle infield tools and some nice footwork for his age. Interestingly, the switch-hitter graded out higher left handed in batting practice but only hit right handed in games.

2023 Top Prospects

Brett Denby  SS - 2023 - New Albany, IN
Georgia Tech

Denby impressed wherever he was on the mound, showing arm strength form the outfield, infield and on the mound (event best 82 mph fastball) and performed in all three spots with athleticism and ease. Offensively he performed very well in live action, showing strength to both gaps and also ran a 7.02 60-yard.

CJ Richard  OF - 2023 - Liberty Township, OH
Ohio State

Richard is full of quick-twitch muscle, running the event's best 60-yard time with a 6.86 60-yard dash. He continued to impress by throwing 82 mph from the outfield with athletic actions and quick arm and showed nice tools in the batters box too, staying short with his stroke through the zone.

Braedyn Moore  SS - 2023 - Hamilton, OH
Uncommitted

Moore did a little bit of everything throughout the event and shows intriguing potential all over the diamond. His athleticism plays both in the infield and the outfield, as well as on the mound where he was up to 77 mph but it's his righthanded swing and strength potential that are the most intriguing of his skill set.

Lucas Moore  OF - 2023 - West Chester, OH
Louisville

A primary middle infielder, Moore was excellent in live action in the outfield with a quick first step and plenty of range to cover ample ground. His lefthanded swing offers lots of present bat speed and still projects with added strength, showing lift to the path and quick hands through the zone.

Jace Burton  SS - 2023 - Sellersburg, IN
Indiana State

Burton has lots of potential as a defensive middle infielder, with soft easy hands and athletic and balanced actions through the ball. He has an aggressive right handed swing and some present bat speed that will keep building as he gets stronger.

Ethan Henry  LHP - 2023 - Caledonia, MI
Oakland

Henry has a nice projectable 6-0/160 build and a loose and whippy left arm. He topped out at 78 mph with plenty of southpaw running life and showed the ability to spin a 67 mph slider with some feel.

Stephen Katch  3B - 2023 - Lancaster, PA
Mount St. Mary`s

Katch made his presence felt during the game portion, making a nice diving snag at third base with a strong arm, which he also showed from behind the plate and filled the zone from the bump. He has a strong build which is incorporated nicely into his swing, staying short and linear through the zone.

Harron Lee  SS - 2023 - Mars, PA
Uncommitted

Lee is a solid all around player with present skills and athleticism. He gets surprising bat speed for a young 5-6/128 athlete and that's going to just keep improving as he matures physically.

Nathan Manley  C - 2023 - Loveland, OH
Wright State

Manley has a strong and compact build that works perfectly for a catcher. He's an aggressive defender who plays with energy and athleticism and pitcher's will enjoy throwing to him.

Dakota Secrest  3B - 2023 - Lucasville, OH
Uncommitted

Secrest is a strong 6-0/160 athlete with some physical maturity for his age. He projects as a third baseman on defense with good overall athleticism and a strong right handed bat. He also has a chance as a two-way prospect, with a present upper 70's fastball and good feel for his curveball.

Camren Vessels  C - 2023 - Barberton, OH
Uncommitted

Vessels has a strong and athletic build for an eighth grader and strong defensive tools behind the plate. He has plenty of present arm strength and a quick release to go with a quick and flexible lower half. He should develop plenty of right handed power at the plate.

Gage Wheaton  OF - 2023 - Irwin, PA
Uncommitted

Wheaton showed off one of the better arms from the outfield during the drills portion of the event and did so again in live action, delivering a one-hop strike to the plate to get the runner. He swings with intent and shows quickness to his hands, impacting the baseball well when he squares it up.
