Elliott's run and throw tools are playable but don't stand out but stands out is the bat. He is a very aggressive right handed hitter with big bat speed and the ability to drive the ball hard to all fields, which he seems to do at virtually every Perfect Game event. Don't be surprised when he develops into a dominant college hitter.
Trejyn Fletcher

Fletcher entered the event as one of the top 2020 prospects in the country and did nothing but reaffirm that notion in San Diego. Up to 90 mph from both the mound and the outfield, Fletcher went 3-for-3 in the final day of action with three extra-base hits, showing an exciting combo of strength and bat speed while staying short to the ball.
Bobby Witt Jr
SS - 2019 - Colleyville, TX
Oklahoma
Witt Jr. entered the event as the nation's top prospect in the 2019 class and after a few swings you can see why his bat is considered different from his peers. It's very easy and loose with plenty of fluidity while showing an all fields approach and athletic actions up the middle with a clean right arm.
Wesley Scott

Scott, a Vanderbilt commit, delievered an eye opening performance in San Diego and continues to establish himself as one of the top arms in the nation for 2019. Working from a mid 3/4s slots, Scott expertly spotted his 90-93 mph fastball to his glove side and mixed in a true swing-and-miss slider up to 78 mp for strikes at will.
Quinn Priester
RHP - 2019 - Cary, IL

Priester was very impressive in a short look, showing a 89-91 mph fastball to go with a classic 12/6 downer curveball that had serious spin and biting action. He could emerge as one of the top right handers in the 2019 class with further strength and development.
Logan Britt

Britt has huge leverage and power in his right handed swing and just missed launching a few balls during the games. He also showed elite level arm strength from right field and showed enough on the mound during a brief inning of work that he is a pitching prospect, too.
DJ Jefferson

Jefferson defines projection in a pitcher, with a very loose 6-5/190 build and a very fast right arm. He worked at 90-92 mph with his fastball and his arm action seems better suited to a slider than the soft curveball he throws at present.
Michael Dixon

Dixon is an immensely strong young right handed hitter who along with plus bat speed is also a plus runner. His best contact is to right centerfield and he'll be a triples machine if he keeps that up.
Tyler Callihan

Doughty is already committed to LSU and with his performance throughout the two days it's easy to see how. A primary shortstop with the actions and arm strength (88 mph across) to stick on the left side at the next level, Doughty also possesses a quick barrel through the zone and he does a nice job of repeating his swing, creating contact to all fields.
Mason Barnett

Barrett has been working in the 90's all summer with a loose and fast right arm and showed off his arm strength again in San Diego, topping out at 91 mph with plenty of late life on his heater.
Blake Mayfield

The 6-2/155 Mayfield only worked 85-87 but there is plenty more there when he starts filling out, as his arm is loose and whippy. His best pitch was a 75-77 mph power curveball that was very tight and big when he was on top of it.
Jared Southard

Texas
Southard is a two-way college prospect but he projects best long-term on the mound. He essentially threw five different quality pitches if you break off his 90 mph four-seam fastball and 85 mph diving two-seam fastball and threw strikes with each offering.
Thomas Keehn

It'll be interesting to see what the future has in store for Keehn, a Duke commit, as he shows legitimate tools on both sides of the plate. A primary shortstop who shows a strong, quick swing from the right side. Keehn also displayed a quick right arm which helped bump 90 mph with his fastball while turning over a quality changeup as well.
Ryan Flaherty
SS - 2019 - Trabuco Canyon, CA

Flaherty made his presence felt at USD in a loud way as the California native hit the lone in-game home run, showing a short and quick swing from the right side. He offers a simple swing and did a nice job of repeating it well, getting the barrel to the ball.
Jack Leiter

Leiter, the son of former big league lefthander Al Leiter, is a polished right hander with four present pitches, a balanced on-line delivery and the ability to throw consistent strikes. He tops out at 90 mph now and his best secondary pitch is a big downer curveball.
Jake Skipworth

Skipworth is a nephew of Kyle Skipworth, the sixth overall pick in the 2008 draft, and a legit prospect in his own right. He is very present strong at 6-4/210 and has easy plus strength in his right handed swing, along with a short and direct swing that should maximize hard contact.
Emanuel Dean

Scouts say that the 6-3/210 Dean is prioritizing baseball for the first time in his life over football, where he is a high level running back, and that is very encouraging. He already shows some skills for the game offensively and his combination of strength and speed is very promising.
Spencer Jones

The 6-7/195 Jones is still growing into his frame and coordination and scouts will need to be patient with his development, but there is huge potential both on the mound and as a position player here. It's a 50/50 proposition what role he will end up developing the most.
Hayden Dunhurst

Physically built at 5-foot-11, 210-pounds, Dunhurst is a lefthanded hitting catcher who impressed in San Diego on both sides of the ball. He popped an impressive 1.93 in drills and showed one of the stronger arms (81 mph) down to second which he couples nicely with a strong, very quick stroke and hard jump off the barrel.
Anthony Volpe

Volpe is already a known name on the national circuit thanks to a well polished and consistent level of play wherever he goes. It was more of the same in San Diego for the Vanderbilt commit, showing a short, simple swing with plenty of barrel and balance to his defensive actions up the middle.
Stephen Restuccio

Restuccio, a Maryland commit, worked an inning on the mound and showed impressive arm strength, running his fastball up to 91 mph with a quick right arm. He also made an excellent diving catch out in right field and showed quick hands at the plate with nice contact off the barrel.
Cooper Benson

Benson may be only entering his junior year of high school shortly but he's already established himself as a consistent performer on the national scene. Up to 88 mph with his fastball, the young left-hander creates deception which only adds to his fastball while showing loose hands and interesting power from the left side of the plate.
Garrett Frechette

Frechette has the prototypical smooth left handed swing with plenty of loft and growing bat speed. He showed consistent power in batting practice and quick enough hands in the game to be able to use that lift in his swing in the future.
Adam Grintz

Grintz has improved significantly in all areas since the last time we saw him. He sat at 86-88 mph with much improved mechanics and command but the most impressive thing he did was throw a 76-79 mph curveball that was an absolute hammer, with outstanding power and big depth.
Trey Faltine

Faltine, who is also an athletic shortstop, put on a show during his two innings of work, striking out all six hitters he faced. He mixes four pitches interchangeably, including an upper 80's fastball that hitters just didn't seem to see, and fills up the strike zone.
Jordan Keller

Keller's carrying tool looks to be his right handed bat. He has a strong right handed swing with plenty of pop and did a nice job of shortening up in games and using the whole field while maintaining his bat speed.
Damone Hale

Hale, an uncommitted shortstop from California, impressed with his performance and offers as much projection as any other player in attendance. He shows fluidity to his swing path and worked the middle of the field regularly while showing smooth, athletic actions up the middle.
Cole Dale

Cole Dale is a long and projectable righthander who's listed at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds and is already committed to UCLA. He offers a quick right arm which helped produce an 86-89 mph fastball, which appeared to get on hitters quickly while mixing in a hard, downward breaking ball up to 79 mph.
Jaden Brown
SS - 2019 - Mississauga, ON CAN

Coming all the way down from Canada, the uncommitted Brown showed plenty of interesting tools from his soft hands defensively to his quick hands and surprising strength offensively. The ball jumped off the barrel when Brown squared it up and he's certainly a prospect who needs to be followed closely.
Damon Fountain

Fountain immediately passes the eye test with his 6-foot-2, 190-pound, long limbed build and his skill set is just as impressive. He does a nice job of staying short and quick to the ball with plenty of bat speed and only projects for more with added strength. He was also up to 91 mph from the outfield.
Brennan Milone

A shortstop out of Georgia who is already committed to South Carolina, Milone's loudest tool is his righthanded swing and it was once again on display this look. With quick hands and leverage to his swing, Milone stung the ball and showed interesting jump off the barrel while projecting for more moving forward.
Jonathan Cannon

Georgia
Cannon is an interesting athlete with a number of different tools that could really develop. He has a strong right handed swing and plenty of power potential for a first base profile but really stood out was his arm. He threw 93 mph lasers in drills and although he backed off to 89 mph on the mound, the potential is there with further development.
Andrew Jenkins

Jenkins is an interesting two-way player who is solid defensively at third base with a strong right handed bat that gets to its power easily and consistently. He also threw a bat breaking 88 mph sinker on the mound that is a present out pitch it has so much hard and consistent movement.
Dillon Carter

Already committed to TCU, Carter is a primary outfielder who also shows two-way potential at the collegiate level. A hard hitting lefthanded bat who shows a present feel for the barrel, Carter was also up to 90 mph from the outfield and topped out at 86 mph on the bump while living low in the zone.
Eric Grintz
C - 2019 - Glenmoore, PA

Both Grintz twins showed well at the AA Underclass, although they are completely different baseball players. Eric's best tool is his right handed bat, which has lots of strength and middle of the field power and a very consistent barrel. He has plenty of tools to keep catching at the next level as well.
Corbin Carroll

Carroll is one of the top speed players in the 2019 class, with lots of quick twitch athleticism and a high energy style of play. Despite being only 5-10/150, he packs plenty of punch into his left handed swing and will put up some power numbers at the next level.
Kendall Ewell

Ewell is a long and loose 6-foot-3, 190-pound outfielder from Illinois who performed well on both sides of the ball throughout the weekend. He shows quick hands and an easy swing which helped produce some jump off the barrel and also threw out a runner with a perfect throw from left field in live action.
Jimmy Starnes

Starnes didn't throw his usual low 90's fastball but he pitched better perhaps than he has at any other previous PG event, using a sinking88 mph fastball that he spotted well to go with a sharp slider and convincing change up to cruise through two innings.
Jaden Woodson

Woodson is the son of former NFL great Darren Woodson and one can see where the athletic genes come through. The younger Woodson is extremely quick, especially on defense where his best position is second base.
Kameron Guidry
SS - 2019 - Snellville, GA
University of Cincinnati
Guidry is a quick twitch athlete with a projectable body and middle infield skills on defense. His right handed swing was short and quick and he projects to be a high average hitter at the next level.
Cortland Lawson

Tennessee
Lawson has a nice combination of tools and skills in all areas and a projectable young body. He squared the ball up very consistently with a firm and crisp right handed swing and looks like he has the athleticism to stay in the middle infield for the foreseeable future.
Caleb Reis

Reis is a good athlete and has some tools as a position player but he was more intriguing at this event as a pitcher. He has the present ability to throw in the upper 80's with big movement and a well coordinated delivery from a side arm slot and still spin the ball with authority. He could be just scratching the surface on the mound.
Jason Hodges

Arkansas
Hodges could easily be a 2020 from his present body development and how far he's grown into his coordination but he has a knack for squaring up the baseball against good pitching and getting the ball into the air. He'll be an interesting one to see develop over the next few years.
Alex Greene

Watching Greene throw from the outfield was a joy, as he unleashed 95 mph lines without much effort and with game actions. He was up to 90 on the mound, although his arm action wasn't as pure, and he has plenty of potential with the bat as he fills out as well.
Ethan Long
3B - 2020 - Gilbert, AZ

Long did a little bit of everything during the showcase and it revolved around his right arm as he checked in atop both the infield velocity (96 mph) and outfield velocity (97 mph) leaderboards before bumping 91 mph on the mound. He also showed quickness to hands offensively with hard contact off the barrel.
Tank Espalin
SS - 2020 - Glendora, CA
Indiana
Espalin has very mature actions for a 2020 both offensively and defensively. He was outstanding charging the ball on defense and made very strong, accurate throws on the run. Offensively, the left handed hitter showed advanced skills in his ability to adjust to pitches and hit the ball hard to all fields.
Nate Clow
SS - 2020 - Federal Way, WA
Southern California
Clow is a middle infielder from the Pacific Northwest who needs to be followed closely moving forward as he continues to grow stronger. A lefthanded bat with an easy swing, Clow made more than one impressive defensive play showing his range and hand softness throughout his time in San Diego.
Logan Paustian
C - 2020 - La Grande, OR
Arizona State
Making the trip out from Oregon, Paustian is a young Nebraska commit and a switch-hitting catcher with very interesting and projectable tools on both sides of the ball. He's a quiet receiver with soft hands and shows a short stroke from both sides of the plate with a present feel for the barrel.
Drew Romo
C - 2020 - The Woodlands, TX
Louisiana State
Romo looks like he's going to be one of the standout defensive catchers in the 2020 class, with advanced skills and tools for his age. He's a switch-hitter who should keep improving from both sides as he adds physical strength.
