Zac Addkison
RHP - 2020 - San Antonio, TX
Marshall
Addkison has a big, well proportioned and strong 6-4/225 body and a power pitcher's tools and approach on the mound. He worked in the 88-92 mph range for three innings, with his fastball playing up due to his hiding the ball very effectively behind his big body. He also threw both a slider and change up that flashed quality.
Kaden Calkins
RHP - 2020 - Aurora, TX
McLennan CC
Calkins is a McLennen JC commit with a long and extremely projectable 6-5/195 build. He threw almost all fastballs in his three inning stint, working in the 86-90 mph range with very good present command and the ability to work to all quadrants of the zone. He's a potential high ceiling talent with time and more development.
Calin Knight
RHP - 2020 - Montgomery, TX
Washington State/San Jacinto CC
Knight has a basic high energy rear back and fire set of mechanics on the mound but generally keeps them together well and works downhill from a high 3/4's arm slot. His fastball worked in the 87-90 mph range but his out pitch was a sharp and occasionally nasty 80 mph slider that he consistently landed for strikes.
Austin Green
SS - 2020 - Diana, TX
Texas Tech/Weatherford College
Green is a live bodied switch-hitting middle infielder whose best tool is his arm. In fact, he graded out higher on the mound at this event, topping out at 88 mph to go with a snappy low to mid-70's breaking ball. The Weatherford College commit has been up to 90 at WWBA tournaments this summer.
Jalen Davenport
RHP - 2020 - Spring, TX
Northern Oklahoma College-ENID
Davenport is a live bodied athlete who played cornerback in a 6A football game on Friday night and came back and worked 3 innings off the mound on Saturday morning. He topped out at 88 mph with a loose and whippy arm that got out front well to go with both a curveball and a slider.
Sam Canales
C - 2020 - Corpus Christi, TX
Texas San Antonio
Canales is a very athletic catcher with the tools to play multiple positions around the field. That athleticism is a big plus behind the plate, as his strong arm and quick release. A right handed hitter, Canales has quick hands a loose swing with some gap to gap power.
Tanner Dieleman
3B - 2020 - Krum, TX
Midland College
Dieleman has a strong prototypical third baseman's body at 6-1/190 and is a switch-hitter with a similar approach from both sides and solid present bat speed. He didn't pitch at this event but is also an All-District pitcher who has been consistently in the upper 80's at PG tournaments this past summer, arm strength that plays well at third base, too.
Hunter Dyck
RHP - 2020 - Dallas, TX
Western Texas College
Dyck has an excellent athletic 6-3/208 build and an easy low effort delivery on the mound. He worked in the 86-89 mph range on his fastball from a very compact arm action that hid the ball well but his best pitch was a high quality 77 mph change up that imitated his fastball extremely well and was thrown with confidence.
Michael Perales
SS - 2020 - San Antonio, TX
Amherst College
In an event that featured many high level defensive players, it was Perales that probably stood out the most. In addition to his plus infield skills and actions, he was also the top defensive outfielder at the event, including making a full out diving catch in right field that it looked like he had no chance of making.
Callum Burton
SS - 2020 - Spring, TX
Blinn College
Burton showed plenty of quick twitch athleticism in the middle infield and has very strong and well schooled fundamentals defensively to go with it. A 6.77 runner at previous PG showcases, he has a high contact line drive swing from the right side and fits a top of the order type profile offensively.
Clenard Griffin III
SS - 2020 - Willis, TX
Uncommitted
Griffin is a primary middle infield with solid skills and athleticism on the dirt but his speed and athleticism played very well in centerfield as well and he made a couple of nice catches that really showed his range well. He's a right handed hitter with a middle of the field line drive approach and good bat speed.
Christopher Kean
C - 2020 - Austin, TX
Ranger College
Kean stands out with his very athletic and projectable 6-4/190 build and for his loose and whippy arm. He hits from a very spread right handed stance but gets his lower half involved well and showed lots of raw power potential. Kean also struck out the side in his inning of work on the mound, pumping mid-80's fastballs from a very deceptive delivery.
Michael Fontenot
3B - 2020 - Kinder, LA
LSU - Eunice
Fontenot has a athletic and strong 6-3/195 build and a strong right handed bat. He posted one of the top exit velocities of the event at 96 mph and showed that bat speed and strength well in the games, especially Sunday when he had three hits including a pair of extra base hits. Fontenot is committed to national JC power LSU-Eunice.
Kevin Duran
SS - 2021 - Cleburne, TX
Weatherford College
Duran was the top hitter at the event, showing both plus raw bat speed with an aggressive approach and the ability to square up the ball very consistently against good pitching. He slammed the event's only home run on Sunday and had 4-5 other games hits as well. Plus, Duran plays with unbridled joy and energy in all areas of the game.
Brandon Burckel
2B - 2021 - Lindale, TX
University of Houston
Burckel is an early commit to the University of Houston and the polish and skill in his game really shows on defense in particular. He made outstanding plays in the games at shortstop, second base and third base at different times and looks comfortable at all of them. He's a solid line drive hitter, too.
Jason Hawkins
C - 2021 - Allen, TX
McLennan CC
Hawkins has national level tools behind the plate and is very projectable both offensively and defensively. A big and strong 6-2/190 athlete, Hawkins has quick and explosive actions out of his crouch defensively and plenty of arm strength. His right handed bat is strong with present power and very good timing in his swing.
Creed Willems
C - 2021 - Aledo, TX
TCU
The big and burly 6-1/215 Willems is deceptively athletic behind the plate defensively but the extra strong left handed hitter can really impact a baseball hard. Not only does Willems have present power to all fields, he pretty much squared up everything he saw in games as well. The young junior can rake. He also has lots of fun on the field and his energy stands out.
Victor Loa
LHP - 2021 - Los Fresnos, TX
Texas State
The 5-8/165 fits the crafty left mold perfectly, with the ability to throw his curveball, change up or mid-80's fastball to spots, which never seems to be in the middle of the strike zone. He's been a very successful starter at high level WWBA events and will continue to get outs at the next level.
Nick Bell
RHP - 2021 - Baytown, TX
Uncommitted
Bell has a loose and projectable 6-0/155 build and a quality three-pitch mix that he filled up the zone with. He topped out at 87 mph on his fastball with run and sink while throwing a mid-70's curveball with hard bite at times and a nice fading change up.
Cayden Hardy
RHP - 2021 - Hockley, TX
San Jacinto CC
Hardy has a young 6-2/170 body and young face with plenty of physical projection remaining. He worked 2-seam/4-seam between 83 and 88 mph with big running life on his 2-seam fastballs. Hardy also was successful in landing a 69 mph curveball that can be firmed up and become a solid pitch for him in the future.
Zachery Mack
1B - 2021 - Manvel, TX
San Jacinto CC
"Big" Mack is a solid two-way prospect as a power hitting first baseman and a right handed pitcher who was up to 87 mph on the mound. A 6-4/225 right handed hitter, Mack can put a real charge in the ball when he's squared up and he showed that well this weekend.
Connor Lee
RHP - 2021 - Manvel, TX
San Jacinto CC
Lee is a loose and projectable young athlete who is going to get stronger and throw harder over the next few years. He worked at 83-85 mph consistently for four nice innings and attacked the strike zone with lots of fastball life to go with a 72 mph curveball.
Matthew Houston
C - 2022 - Longview, TX
Navarro College
Houston really stands out as a 2022 with his strong 6-1/200 build but stood out just as much for his right handed bat. He has a simple swing approach that is well timed and really gets into his hips to drive his swing well. The ball exploded off the barrel both in games and in batting practice.
Gabriel Flores
OF - 2022 - Longview, TX
University of Houston
Flores stood out on both sides of the ball but especially for his polished bat and ability to square the ball up consistently with some young jump off the barrel. When he starts filling out his slender and athletic 6-0/165 build, he's going to really be impacting the baseball.
Braedyn Cunningham
RHP - 2022 - Lantana, TX
University of Houston
Cunningham is already a big and physical 6-4/210 young right hander and he still has lots of growing to do, especially in his slender upper half. He has simple fast paced delivery that can be slowed down a bit for more consistency and fast and loose arm that produced fastballs up to 87 mph with nice run to go with a 77 mph slider.
Chase Shores
RHP - 2022 - Midland, TX
Louisiana State
Shores is a very long 6-6/190 athlete but he's also very coordinated for his size/age and is a potential two-way prospect as he matures physically. He was up to 83 mph on the mound with young mechanics but there is a high ceiling there. Shore also stood out at the plate with a very short swing and lots of future power potential.
Cade Arrambide
C - 2024 - Tomball, TX
Louisiana State
Arrambide just started the 8th grade but is a very talented athlete who just competed in the Perfect Game 13U Festival earlier this month. He has outstanding catching actions behind the plate on defense with present catching and throwing tools and swings a good right handed bat as well.
