The physical 2020 grad was impressive on the mound last weekend featuring an athletic delivery with interesting arm speed from a three-quarter slot. Features a heavy fastball up to 90 mph creating a lot of swing and miss up in the zone complemented with a sharp slider at 74 mph. At the plate displayed present pull side power throughout batting practice and games with multiple loud line drives and fly balls to the pull side. In the infield flashed athletic actions working to and through the baseball to go along with soft hands while fielding. Showed good arm strength across the diamond topping out at 85 mph to first base.

During defensive workouts Rodriguez showed quick footwork working from behind the plate to go along with a quick transfer into throws with good arm strength topping out at 83 mph and posting a 1.81 second pop time from behind the plate. Damaurys features a high intent swing with present strength creating impressive bat speed and legitimate jump off the barrel to the outfield. Showed the present power posting a showcase best 91 mph exit velocity.

Features a two pitch mix with a fastball up to 84 mph thrown to both sides of the plate consistently complemented with a sharp curveball at 66 mph.

At the plate flashed a longer swing with the ability to work the barrel out front with good bat speed creating consistently driven contact to and through the gaps in the outfield.
