2019 Top Prospects

Troy Schreffler  OF - 2019 - Harrisburg, PA
Maryland

Schreffler felt right as home the entire weekend, swinging a loud bat from the right side of the plate. A strongly built outfielder, Schreffler was able to impact the ball more than in live action with a direct, fast swing with plenty of jump off the barrel. He also showed his athleticism in the outfield and was up to 91 mph with his best throw.

Sean Szestowicki  SS - 2019 - Mount Royal, NJ
James Madison

A primary shortstop, Szestowicki put together a nice performance throughout the weekend on both sides of the ball. His glove skills played nicely out front and he showed a strong arm (88 mph) across the diamond, while also creating nice jump off the barrel with quick hands and a direct path.

Taylor Johnson  C - 2019 - Poway, CA
Loyola Marymount

Johnson did a little bit of everything throughout the weekend, showing his arm strength behind the plate (82 mph top throw) while also making quick work of his time on the mound. A switch-hitter, Johnson shows quickness to his hands from the right side and nice carry off the barrel with back spin.

2020 Top Prospects

Collin Bosley-Smith  RHP - 2020 - Washington, DC
Duke

Bosley-Smith is a well-built righthander out of Washington who toed the rubber and worked in full attack mode, sitting comfortably in the 89-92 mph range over his three innings, topping out at 93 mph. His arm action is short and fast, creating sink down in the zone while mixing in a hard and tight curveball up to 75 mph with plenty of bite.

Kenny Levari  SS - 2020 - Vineland, NJ
Old Dominion

Levari's arm immediately captured everybody's attention as he threw an event best 94 mph before bumping 89 mph on the mound. His actions at shortstop were clean and quick, similar to his lefthanded swing as he displayed looseness throughout and some strength off the barrel at the point of contact.

Eddie Eisert  SS - 2020 - Fairfax Station, VA
North Carolina State

Eisert showed intriguing two-way potential while in Maryland, though his future may be in the infield as his swing from both sides of the plate stood out. A switch-hitter, Eisert showed a loose and fluid stroke from both sides with leverage while throwing 89 mph across the diamond and topping out at 86 mph on the mound.

Ryan Gleason  LHP - 2020 - Laytonsville, MD
Uncommitted

Gleason put together a nice performance on the mound with a clean and loose arm stroke, running his fastball up to 84 mph with plenty of angle at release. At 6-4/185, Gleason offers plenty of projectability still and can already sink his fastball and showed comfort landing his curveball for strikes.

Michael Kluska  SS - 2020 - White Sulphur Springs, WV
West Virginia

What stood out most about Kluska throughout the weekend was his abilities in the dirt and with the glove. He shows a quick internal clock and lightness to his feet, as well as soft hands and a clean funnel to go along with a contact oriented swing with which he stayed direct to the ball with balance throughout.

Patrick Coyne  3B - 2020 - Randolph, NJ
Lehigh

After taking a nice round of batting practice in which he stayed short and direct to the ball, Coyne continued to find the barrel as he picked up three hits in the first game of the event. He shows nice quickness to his hands and remains mostly linear through the zone with the ability to work to all parts of the field.

Patrick Roche  SS - 2020 - Milton, MA
Boston College

A recent commit to Boston College, Roche shows nice potential with his righthanded swing, already able to impact the baseball to his pull side with lift to his swing. Along with the bat, Roche also showed well defensively as he maintained his balanced throughout with nice actions and solid arm strength across.

Lucas Rich  RHP - 2020 - Florham Park, NJ
Lehigh

Throughout his time on the mound Rich, a 6-5/210 righthander, did a nice job of living down in the zone while pumping strikes. He ran his fastball up to 86 mph early on with extension out front and mixed in both a mid-70s slider and changeup with fading life for strikes.

2021 Top Prospects

Sawyer Feller  C - 2021 - Boca Raton, FL
Harvard

There's no doubting the strength that Feller possesses in his overall game, whether with his right arm or righthanded swing. Offensively he shows the ability to impact the baseball hard to his pull side while throwing 87 mph from first base and sound actions behind the plate that will only continue to project.

Tommy Tavarez  SS - 2021 - Brooklyn, NY
Pittsburgh

A loose and bouncy defender, Tavares showed well defensively up-the-middle with sound actions and smooth hands, all of which lead into a strong arm which was up to 88 mph across the diamond. There's fluidity to his swing and while he projects physically, he shows looseness in his hands and occaisonal lift out front.

Jack Cebert  RHP - 2021 - Tampa, FL
South Florida

A young and projectable righthander who stands 6-0/165, Cebert already shows plenty of feel on the mound as he commanded three pitches for strikes during his outing. Up to 85 mph, Cebert worked on top of the baseball well while mixing both a curveball and changeup for strikes, showing comfort while landing all three pitches.
