Brandon Vega  OF - 2010 - Jackson, NJ   Seminole State College

Vega has athletic actions in the OF and shows some range. He has a line drive swing with good bat speed and extension through the ball.

Mike Campbell  RHP - 2010 - Staten Island, NY   Rider

Campbell has a solid athletic build, ran his fastball to 88 and showed the ability to create tight spin on his curveball.

Nathan LaPointe  C - 2010 - Brimfield, MA   Boston College

LaPointe has a very quick transfer and release behind the plate and shows raw power potential at the plate.

Ricky Hodges  LHP - 2010 - darien, CT   Virginia Tech

Hodges has an athletic body, a balanced delivery, ran his fastball to 87 with late life, and mixes 3 pitches well.

Jack Murray  LHP - 2010 - Milford, MA   Rollins College

Murray has a fast and loose arm, compact arm action, fastball to 86, and can spin the ball well.

Tyler Curry  C - 2010 - South Salem, NY   Uncommitted

Curry is on this list because of his bat; he has good pop and bat speed, centers the ball well, and extends well through the ball.

Drew Fittry  RHP - 2010 - Tonawanda, NY   Niagara

Fittry has a long, loose arm action, clean release, online mechanics, mid-80’s fastball with late life.

Frank Burke  OF - 2010 - Bryn Mawr, PA   Uncommitted

Burke has good bat speed and strength in his swing. He has some loft in his swing and centers the ball well.

Daniel Roland  C - 2010 - Westbury, NY   St. John's

Roland is a great catch and throw guy behind the plate, 1.87 best pop, 1.98 from his knees. His bat is solid but his defense stands out.

Michael Ahmed  SS - 2010 - East Longmeadow, MA   Holy Cross

Ahmed is a good athlete with a sub-7.00 60 time, smooth actions in the infield. He has solid hitting tools and also ran his fastball to 86 on the mound.

Joseph Landi  SS - 2010 - Smithfield, RI   Rhode Island

Landi’s arm stood out at the event as he threw 92 from the outfield and 88 from the infield. He shows solid hitting tools and is a good all-around athlete.

Louis Concato  RHP - 2010 - Woodbridge, CT   Uncommitted

Concato has a long, smooth arm action, solid, online mechanics. He attacks batters with a fastball up to 86, and two sharp breaking balls in his curveball and slider.

Brett Koliani  RHP - 2010 - Middlebury, CT   St. Joseph's

Koliani has a physical body, long, loose arm action with good arm speed and a clean delivery. His fastball was up to 86 and had very tight spin on his breaking ball.

Charles Griffiths  RHP - 2010 - Climax, NY   Albany

Griffiths has a sturdy body and good arm strength as he ran his fastball up to 87.

Derek Richards  OF - 2010 - Framingham, MA   Uncommitted

Richards is a good athlete with a lean, projectable frame. He has good power potential at the plate and a good arm in the outfield.

Joe Smith  OF - 2010 - Yorktown Heights, NY   Iona

Smith is a good athlete with plus arm strength in the outfield. He has solid hitting actions and projects with added strength. Also reached 87 with his fastball.

Stanley Bajerski  1B - 2010 - Milford, CT   Southern New Hampshire

Bajerski is a huge kid with big power potential from the left side. He has a balanced swing and creates loft and some backspin and shows a good approach.

John Franco  MIF - 2010 - New York, NY   Brown

Franco is a good all-around player with an advanced approach to the game and is a good athlete.

Bryan Tatelman  MIF - 2010 - South Windsor, CT   Stony Brook

Tatelman is a good all around athlete with smooth actions in the field and huge arm strength across the infield. His hitting tools project with adjustments.

2011 Top Prospects

Mark Esposito  3B - 2011 - Bethany, CT   Marshall

Esposito has a plus arm in the infield with soft hands and good actions. He also shows interesting hitting tools with quick hands and good gap-to-gap pop.
