2027 Top Prospects

Adrian Villela  SS - 2027 - Tucson, AZ

Villela was simply loud, launching a towering two-run shot to center field. He also topped 80 mph over two clean innings and there's tons of athleticism to work with. 7.26 runner with 76 mph from the outfield that should only develop as he matures. The strength he possesses stands out and showed in game in emphatic fashion.

Joshua Messer  OF - 2027 - Lake Havasu City, AZ

Messer is oozing with some upside. He has three pitches for strikes and up to high-70s, but the feel to spin is advanced. The slider and curveball both have distinct shape and break. He also hit a pair of booming doubles to the gap, big two-way talent. Also ran a 7.49 60-yard dash.

Robert Villa III  SS - 2027 - Phoenix, AZ

Villa III ran a 6.92 60-yard dash and is an advanced athlete in all facets right now. He's got some big physical tools to hone in on as he develops, and the bat speed at the plate stands out from the left side. He showed well on both sides this week.

Christopher Sinacori  C - 2027 - Phoenix, AZ

Sinacori made several standout defensive plays and showed well all over the infield. He ran a 7.26 60-yard dash and topped out at 82 mph with big jump out of the hand. He's a two-way name to follow.

Johnny Komarowsky  3B - 2027 - Denver, CO

Komarowsky is a solid two-way product with good recognition and feel. Ran a 7.81 and recorded 74 mph from the infield. Versatile defender and topped mid-70s on the hill with a three-pitch mix. Tenacious mentality and energetic ball player. Worked himself into good hitter's counts.

Daniel Armenta Pacheco  OF - 2027 - Tucson, AZ

Pacheco has big power potential that showed in looks, scorching several balls for extra bases including a booming triple. Uses strong lower half well, and had an exit velocity of 74 mph.

Danny De La Torre  OF - 2027 - Temecula, CA

De La Torre had an exit velocity of 78 mph and the strength showed at the plate in game. Stung a pair of balls hard to the pull-side gap. Also reached low-70s on the mound, big bodied two-way who can grow into his frame.

Sam Jenkins  RHP - 2027 - Scottsdale, AZ

Jenkins showed lots of arm talent from a projectable frame. Topped high-70s with some life up in the zone that missed consistent bats. Solid spin to his curveball. Has good intent in the path with advanced strength that plays to the gaps.


2028 Top Prospects

Johan Esmill Martinez  SS - 2028 - Tucson, AZ

Martinez ran a 7.29 60-yard dash and recorded 74 mph from the infield with sound actions. He moves well for the age and controls his levers well. He had the best exit velocity of the age group with lots of length to physically fill out. His feel for the barrel and the leather can really develop.

John Pintar  SS - 2028 - Laguna Niguel, CA

Pintar recorded 72 mph from the infield drills and looked solid in relief from a deliberate arm action. Good defender with developing feel for the barrel.
