Dean Carpentier

Carpentier put together the most impressive performance at the event, showing advanced tools on both sides of the ball.. A strong arm was shown during defensive drills, throwing 90 mph from the outfield. Sound footwork and confident hands lead to advanced actions on the infield. At the plate, quick bat speed and advanced barrel control allowed balls to be sprayed to all parts of the field with authority. Carpentier also showed two-way ability on the mound, running the fastball up to 87 mph and showing feel for a low-70’s slider.
Joey Wittig
RHP - 2023 - San Diego, CA

Wittig was extremely impressive on the mound. The righthander ran the fastball up to 91 mph with life through the zone. There is feel for an upper-70’s curveball present with the ability to create sharp bite when thrown well.
Michael Ryan
OF - 2023 - Gridley, CA

Ryan had a well-rounded performance, showing tools in all facets of the game. Advanced athleticism allows for good actions both on the infield and outfield with a strong arm playing from both spots. Quick bat speed and good intent in the box allows for balls to be driven with authority to both gaps. Ryan also ran a 6.96 60-yard dash.
James Derflinger

Derflinger showcased intriguing two-way potential throughout the event. Sound footwork and a quick first step allowed for good range in both directions. A strong arm was shown, throwing 87 mph during workouts. A clean, linear path with quick hands produced hard contact back up the middle. There is two-way ability present with a mid-80’s fastball and intriguing 12-6 curveball.
Paul Thomas Teel
C - 2023 - Nogales, AZ

Teel displayed strong tools on both sides of the ball. The backstop recorded a 1.87 second pop time, showing a quick, clean transfer into strong throws. At the plate, good feel for the barrel and strong hands allow for balls to be driven into both gaps with some authority.
Michael Castaneda
RHP - 2023 - San Jose, CA
Northern Kentucky
Castaneda was one of the more intriguing arms to take the mound. The righthander showcased a fastball up to 86 mph with more in the tank. A sharp 12-6 curveball and advanced upper-70’s changeup showed the ability to generate swing and misses often.
Cole Ayala
C - 2023 - Fortuna, CA
Montana State
Ayala displayed intriguing tools on both sides of the ball. The backstop showed a strong accurate arm resulting in a 1.88 second pop time. A lofted path with good bat speed helped drive the ball with authority at the plate. Ayala posted an impressive 91 mph exit velocity.
Zachary Goldenberg
C - 2023 - Walnut Creek, CA

Goldenberg showed intriguing tools on both sides of the ball. The backstop displayed the ability to generate quality carry on throws, recording a 2.06 second pop time. Quick bat speed and good feel for the barrel combined with strong frame to drive balls into both gaps consistently.

Olson displayed the ability to use a strong frame well at the plate, producing big power to the pullside. The intent to do damage allows it to translate well to in-game action.
Luke (LT) Taylor

Taylor showcased impressive tools that play on both sides of the ball. A strong, accurate arm plays well behind the plate, resulting in a 1.87 second pop time. In the box, quick hands and feel for the barrel allow balls to be driven to all fields.
Jordan Marian
SS - 2025 - Foothill Ranch, CA

Marian put together a strong, well-rounded performance throughout the weekend. Athleticism and smooth actions were shown during both outfield and infield workouts. At the plate, feel for the barrel and quick bat speed led to quality contact that played to the big part of the field consistently. There is some two-way ability present, showing the ability to pound the zone with a sinking fastball and quality 12-6 curveball.
Cade Goldstein
C - 2025 - Hidden Hills, CA
University of Washington
Goldstein put together a strong showing throughout the weekend. Soft hands and good footwork allowed for plays to be made consistently throughout infield workouts. A strong arm played well from behind the plate, resulting in a 2.01 second pop time. At the plate, a simple swing allowed for barrels to be found regularly with the ability to produce hard hit contact to all parts of the field.
