Jacob Brown  RHP - 2008 - Gig Harbor, WA

Strong corner outfielder with a short, powerful stroke. Should not only hit for some power with that swing, but also hit for some average as there is not much swing/miss with him. Showed power to all fields and solid LF defensive tools.

Vince Canale  OF - 2008 - Tracy, CA
Uncommitted

Coley Crank  C - 2008 - Pinole, CA

Strong bodied and physical with the bat. Crank showed enough arm strength to suggest he can be a serviceable thrower. His bat plays as a plus at the catcher position. Generates easy power to all fields with good extension through contact.

Joshua Crisosto  RHP - 2008 - Palo Cedro, CA
Uncommitted

Bobby Crocker  OF - 2008 - Aromas, CA
Cal Poly

Strong and athletic at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, has defensive skills that fit well in center or right. Has the speed to put pressure on the defense and a chance to develop middle of the order power. Tools profile well across the board.

Elijah Davis  OF - 2008 - Turlock, CA
Uncommitted

Athletic ball hawk in centerfield with a good arm and a quick release. Spray line drive hitter with a lively swing that explodes through contact. Flashes some future power. He impacts the game offensively, defensively, and verbally.

Jared Denham  OF - 2008 - Antioch, CA
Uncommitted

Brother of prospects Daniel and Jason Denham, Jared is making a name for himself. Above average speed, a quick bat and developing power. His arm is quick and shows promise, adding to his profile as a top centerfield prospect.

Kareem Edwards  OF - 2008 - San Leandro, CA
Uncommitted

Speed and aggressiveness on the bases that can change games. He is a top of the order catalyst with a quick, short stroke and makes consistently solid barrel contact. Strong and accurate arm with speed to track down balls in the gaps.

Matt England  1B - 2008 - Santa Cruz, CA
Uncommitted

Strong RH doubles type hitter. Went 3-5 with two doubles and had some of the most competitive ABs. His barrel stays in the zone and he showed the ability to bang the ball to all fields. Also made a great catch at the fence.

Gene Felise  C - 2008 - San Leandro, CA
Uncommitted

Miguel Flores  MIF - 2008 - Union City, CA
Uncommitted

His hands are a very strong asset in the field and at the plate. Sure-handed with a quick release and quiet, efficient actions. He hit the ball hard to all fields with a line drive, gap power stroke. Flores’ opposite field approach is particularly good.

Chris Garrison  OF - 2008 - Rocklin, CA
Oregon

Projection type right-hander with a long, lanky 6-foot-4, 180 pound frame. Loose arm with an easy arm action, his stuff should continue to climb as he matures. Showed up to 84 mph with downhill plane and good spin on his big curveball.

Dylan Gavin  SS - 2008 - Santa Cruz, CA
Oregon

Strong and athletic middle infielder. He has the type of bat that plays as a plus for a middle infielder. He is also a sound infielder, with soft hands and a quick release. In time he may move to 3rd base, where his bat will still play.

Kyle Glover  MIF - 2008 - Fremont, CA
Uncommitted

Brian Haggett  2B - 2008 - Hollister, CA
Uncommitted

Lucas Herbst  OF - 2008 - Monterey, CA
Santa Clara

Two-way D-I talent, he has a pretty complete set of baseball ability. Has excellent command of three quality pitches, with moxie and pitchability to match. Herbst is also a line drive hitter to all fields with good speed from the left side.

Jo Jo Hernandez  2B - 2008 - Salinas, CA
Uncommitted

One of the top pure hitters in the showcase; was 4-5 with two doubles. Natural hitting instincts with an easy, fluid stroke. His hands work inside the ball well. Made plays on defense too, showing soft hands and feel. Future is 2B or 3B.

Cody Honea  OF - 2008 - Redding, CA
Uncommitted

Erik Johnson  RHP - 2008 - Los Altos, CA
California

Powerfully built at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, he also has a power arm. His fastball reached 87 but frankly he did not warm up enough (was up to 91 in Peoria a week later). Spins the curveball well too. Low-mid 90s look to be in his future.

Scott Kalush  C - 2008 - San Mateo, CA
Uncommitted

Taylor Kees  OF - 2008 - Alameda, CA
Uncommitted

Solid line drive/contact type LH hitter with an easy stroke and feel for hitting. Went 3-5 in the two games while spraying the ball to all fields. In the outfield he showed a quick arm and approached the ball well. Well-rounded player.

Anthony Kupbens  LHP - 2008 - San Jose, CA
UC Davis

Michael Lopez  RHP - 2008 - Novato, CA
Uncommitted

At 6-foot-8, 200 pounds, Lopez draws immediate attention. Sat around 86-88 with the fastball (with some sink) on back to back days. Quick/lively arm stroke and an energetic delivery. Decent feel of change-up, did not show breaker.

Stephen Lumpkins  LHP - 2008 - Redwood City, CA
American International

Another eye catching pitcher at 6-foot-6, 185 pounds. Lumpkins’ fastball comes out of his hand easily and reached up to 86 mph (saw 87 at AZ Sr. Fall Classic), with some heaviness. Solid feel of the change-up and a developing curveball.

Evan Marshall  RHP - 2008 - Sunnyvale, CA
Kansas State

Strong 6-foot-1, 185 pound build and an aggressive approach to go with a good arm. Marshall ’s fastball was up to 88 mph with lively downward movement. Tight spin on both his curveball and baby slider, which may have been a cutter.

Daniel ODell  3B - 2008 - Graham, WA

Michael Reiling  SS - 2008 - San Jose, CA

Torre Swanson  RHP - 2008 - Redding, CA
Uncommitted

The loosest arm at the showcase, the 6-foot-0, 155 pound righty could develop electric stuff. He reached up to 86 mph both days (I saw 89 in late August) and also showed feel of his change-up. The ball gets out of his hand quite easily.

Jacob Sylvester  C - 2008 - Livermore, CA
Pacific

Strong and athletically proportioned, Sylvester has the energy to catch all day. The ball jumps out of his hand, giving him a chance to be a plus catch/throw prospect. He blocks and receives well and his bat shows some power potential.

Top notch catching prospect. Switch-hitter with easy power from the left side and line drive stroke from the right side. Quick arm, lively actions and good agility.
