2025 Top Prospects

Domaine Vann  OF - 2025 - Greensboro, NC
Miami

Vann is the 7th ranked player nationally in the 2025 class and already verbally committed to Miami, so it was exciting to watch him play. He ran a 6.99 sixty, hit one inside the part home run on Saturday and could have had another but stopped at third. Vann also threw 87 mph off the mound and shined at shortstop on defense.

Johnathan Coombs  OF - 2025 - Mechanicsville, MD
Uncommitted

Coombs is a dynamic young athlete with a nice combination of strength and quickness and it is no surprise that he also stands out on the football field. Along with being a 6.92 runner, he showed perhaps the best raw bat speed of any player at the showcase and really impacted some baseballs.

Ethan Brittain  SS - 2025 - Wake Forest, NC
Duke

Brittain was one of the more polished players at the showcase in all areas and also has plenty of physical tools. He consistently drove the ball hard at the plate and showed his two-way potential on the mound by working up to 80 mph with a pretty advanced idea of how to pitch.

Grant Nicholson  RHP - 2025 - Charlotte, NC
Wake Forest

Nicholson really stands out for his 6-4/160 build and has very well schooled low effort mechanics on the mound. He was up to 81 mph on the mound with a nice 69 mph slider and had good angle on his pitches from a high 3/4's arm slot. Nicholson is a also a quality athlete who impressed with his bat.

Jake Cackovic  RHP - 2025 - Holly Springs, NC
North Carolina

Cackovic looks the part of the pitching prospect with a slender, square shouldered 6-3/165 build and is going to be a strong young man in a couple of years. He worked up to 81 mph on his fastball while showing a hard, short slider that he landed well for strikes.

Andrew Kilgore  C - 2025 - Wake Forest, NC
Uncommitted

Kilgore is a quality overall athlete who stood out behind the plate as a catcher defensively but also looked like he could play a high level centerfield eventually with his 6.99 speed. He used his quick twitch lower half very well in creating present right handed bat speed.

Kaleb Williams  SS - 2025 - Springfield, VA
VCU

Williams has a nice young 5-11/150 build with plenty of present and projectable tools and strength. He especially has good bat speed and made loud contact both in batting practice and the games. He also showed his arm strength well, throwing 81 mph in infield drills and 77 mph off the mound.

Noah Hilton  OF - 2025 - Warrenton, NC
Uncommitted

Hilton still has some growing to do from his present 5-5/130 but he has a chance to be a standout hitter from the left side, as he's very aggressive with a sound fundamental swing and surprising present bat speed. He's a 7.55 runner who showed some centerfield skills on defense.

Jackson King  RHP - 2025 - Selma, NC
Uncommitted

King is a good overall athlete with a nice young projectable pitcher's body. He worked downhill well from a high 3/4's arm slot with a fastball that topped out at 78 mph to go with a mid-60's curveball that showed good depth when he was on top of the pitch.

Sammy Diaz  SS - 2025 - New Castle, DE
Uncommitted

Diaz is a very good athlete with lots of quick twitch fiber. He ran a 7.38 in the sixty and had quick actions both in the outfield and in the infield on defense. A right handed hitter, Diaz really battled at the plate, showing bat speed and barrel control and made some loud contact.

Mason Bull  2B - 2025 - Arlington, VA
West Virginia

Bull is a long and lean athlete who has a very promising left-handed bat. It's a classic swing type for a left handed hitter, with good body turn and plenty of potential for lots of barrel whip as he gets stronger. Bull is also a good runner, posting a 7.38 sixty time.

Joel Irizarry  C - 2025 - Simpsonville, SC
Uncommitted

Izizarry is a primary third baseman but we really like his potential behind the plate as a catcher, where his actions were quick, natural and very projectable. He has some present strength and created some bat speed at the plate, too.

Kody Adkins  MIF - 2025 - Lexington Park, MD
Uncommitted

Adkins stood out in the middle infield on defense with his quickness and overall athleticism. He's a 7.33 runner who showed some strength and balance in his right handed swing as well.

Jack Dalton  RHP - 2025 - Garner, NC
Uncommitted

Dalton's best tool is his right handed bat. He has strong hands and a nice short swing with a gap to gap approach and pretty much squared up the ball every swing in batting practice and every at-bat during the games.

Camdyn Via  3B - 2025 - Palmyra, VA
Uncommitted

The 5-11/185 Via was one of the strongest players at the event and it really played well when he had a bat in his hand, as the right handed hitter drove some balls very hard to mid field and the pull side. The third baseman is also a deceptively good athlete, with 7.63 speed and a strong arm.

2026 Top Prospects

Brady Marshall  3B - 2026 - Mocksville, NC
Tennessee

Marshall really stands out as a 7th grader with a strong 5-11/160 body and plenty of present tools and skills. He has nice present right handed bat speed, is a smooth defender in the infield and surprised us by taking the mound on Sunday and topping out at 81 mph and showing good spin on his curveball.

Angelo Bellizzi  RHP - 2026 - Oakland, NJ
Uncommitted

Bellizzi has a strong and mature body for a 7th grader and solid drop and drive mechanics on the mound. He was up to 78 mph with his fastball and did a good job of landing a 64 mph curveball.
