2021 Top Prospects

Cain impressed in a big way on the bump as the right-hander was physically mature and confident in his arsenal. Worked downhill while running the fastball up to 91 mph. Mixed in a tight slider getting swing and miss. Also had feel for a fading changeup. Legit three pitch mix as he held velocity for his entire outing.

Caleb Burr  SS - 2021 - Mount Holly, NC

Burr was solid in all facets of the game this weekend. He started off by running a 6.70 second sixty yard dash in workouts. He was also smooth at shortstop as he was confident with the leather while also showing a strong arm, throwing it 82 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Explosive swing in the box as he sprayed it back up the middle during batting practice.


2022 Top Prospects

Matthew Hoskins  RHP - 2022 - Suwanee, GA
Georgia

Hoskins had one of the most impressive weekends out of any prospect. His performance on the mound was electric. Ran the fastball up to 93 mph as he dotted the corners. Feel to spin the breaking ball getting knee buckles. Also tunneled a nasty changeup off the heater. Threw it 93 mph from the outfield during drills and also had an exit velocity of 98 mph. Homered in games to the pull-side as well.

Kaden Galason  SS - 2022 - Kathleen, GA
Belmont

Galason flat out raked in the box this weekend. He found a barrel with every cut and took an excellent round of batting practice. Flashed some pull-side power as well. He also played a rangy shortstop and threw it on a line across the diamond at 87 mph. The speed intrigued here as well with him running a 6.61 second sixty yard dash.

Alexander Johnson  RHP - 2022 - Roswell, GA

Johnson had a strong showing on the mound this past weekend. The right-hander was very athletic in his delivery as he stayed under control at all times. Ran the fastball up to 85 mph with it showing heavy sink. Tight spinning slider mixed in a changeup that he could land for strikes. Missed barrels as he was dominant on the mound.

Edwin Toribio  3B - 2022 - Statesboro, GA
C of Central Florida

Toribio was physically mature for the age as he utilized a very strong lower half. Took some huge cuts in the box as he looked to do damage with every swing. Tallied a couple long fly outs to his name but the power was shown. Also threw it 90 mph across the diamond during drills and ran a 6.95 second sixty, further proving his deep tool set.

Will Sword  RHP - 2022 - Cary, NC
Princeton

Sword may have had one of the strongest arms from the entire event. On the mound, the right-hander was smooth with his arm action as he ran the fastball up to 90 mph. He also proved he could spin the breaker a bit. Arm strength carried over on defense as he played a sound shortstop. Proved to have some power to the middle of the field on offense as well.

Will Plattner  C - 2022 - Robinson, TX
Alabama

Plattner had a good weekend himself as he showed well during catching drills and in receiving behind the plate during the game while also taking a very sound round of batting practice using his strength and bat speed to impact the ball well in the air to the pull side which translated to game when he sent a no-doubter to pull.

Brody Winter  OF - 2022 - Anderson, SC
Newberry

Winter had one of the more impressive overall weekends as 6-2/190 outfielder ran a 6.69 to open the event and then took a very good round of batting practice working easy and under control at the dish, handling the barrel well and lifting the ball a long way to pull when he squared it.

Elvin Figueroa  1B - 2022 - Kissimmee, FL
Lake Sumter CC

Figueroa is a very physical left-handed hitting first baseman who showed great arm strength clocked up to 87 mph across the field, but makes his impression in the box as he consistently produces high exit velocities on his contact driving the ball a long way to the pull side. He also unloaded on a homerun his final game that had 400 feet written all over it.

Jae Williams  OF - 2022 - Atlanta, GA
Georgia State

Williams was one of the most athletically gifted athletes in the event. Started his weekend off with a smooth 6.74 second sixty yard dash. Played a rangy outfield as he covered an oceans worth of territory. Arm strength showing too as he threw it 84 mph on a line to bags. Proved he could swing it from both sides of the box on offense as the hands are that far advanced. Recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph and was one of the most tooled up prospects in his class at the event.

Dalton Bonner  OF - 2022 - Senoia, GA
Gordon CC

Bonner was extremely athletic in his actions as that was proven right away with his 6.47 second sixty yard dash. Covered a ton of ground in the outfield and had a strong arm to go with it, throwing it 85 mph during drills. Quick swing in the box as he got the bat head out front and impacted with authority.

McDonald McCommons  C - 2022 - Greensboro, GA
Navy

McCommons worked out at every position and proved he could play any of them at the next level. Was fluid in the outfield as he threw it 91 mph during drills. Carried that arm strength to the mound and was up to 85 mph as well. Solid showing behind the dish as he recorded a pop time of 2.03 seconds. Found plenty of barrels in games and took a professional round of batting practice.

Ford Hallock  OF - 2022 - Norcross, GA
Lincoln Memorial

Hallock flashed legit two-way talents as he had a strong showing this past weekend. On the mound, the righty ran the heater up to 86 mph and dropped a hammer of a breaking ball as well. Missed barrels and was confident with his arsenal. Arm strength translated as he threw it 89 mph during outfield drills. Took some fluid cuts at the dish and proved he could square it up no matter where pitched.

Nicholas Noto  SS - 2022 - Huntersville, NC
Samford

Noto flashed plenty of fast twitch type muscle. Ran a clean 6.97 second sixty yard dash and carried that athleticism into defensive drills where he flashed plus lateral range. Arm strength showing too as he threw it 85 mph across the diamond. Was also very sound in the box as he took a professional style type batting practice while spraying in on a line to all fields before showing off some pull-side power. Recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph.

Jacob Torres  OF - 2022 - Orlando, FL
Bryant and Stratton College -VA

Torres is a physical left-handed hitter who uses his length and strength to leverage his hands and incorporate the lower half on driving the ball hard to the pull side.

Elmer Figueroa  C - 2022 - Kissimmee, FL

Figueroa was one of the most physically gifted prospects in the entire showcase. Put that strength to good use in the box. Got extended and drove the baseball with intent into the gaps. Recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. Was also solid behind the dish recording a pop time of 2.07 seconds during drills.

David Luigs  1B - 2022 - Marietta, GA

Luigs is a very strong right-handed hitter and he showed it both in batting practice and in game as he drives the ball hard on a line and was even able to produce well-struck contact when he was out on the front foot in game.

Christian Jubin  C - 2022 - Tyrone, GA

Jubin showcased legit two-way capabilities. On the mound, the right-hander pounded the zone from a lower slot release. Ran the fastball up to 83 mph and missed plenty of bats. Feel to spin the breaker and land for strikes. Was fundamentally solid behind the dish as well. Recorded a pop time of 1.96 seconds during drills. Also swung it with juice in the box as he homered in games to the pull-side.

Brayden Campbell  SS - 2022 - Woodstock, GA

Campbell was very athletic in his actions as he recorded a sixty yard dash of 6.78 seconds. Played a rangy defensive game and carried a strong arm as he threw it 86 mph during drills. Also jumped on the mound and carved up opposing hitters. Fastball up to 81 mph and a biting breaking ball as well. Smooth linear stroke in the box as he looked to drive the baseball back up the middle and did so with success.

Trip DoVale  RHP - 2022 - Roswell, GA
University of North Carolina-Charlotte/Georgia Highlands

DoVale shows huge upside on the mound as he stands at a lean 6-foot-1. The right-hander was smooth in his mechanics before going right at hitters. The fastball was up to 85 mph and he released from a tough three-quarter slot. Also proved he could spin an 11-to-5 moving breaking ball and a tumbling splitter as well.

Michael Sims  3B - 2022 - Dacula, GA
Clark Atlanta University

Sims was fundamentally sound in all facets of the game. He started the weekend off with a 7.08 second sixty yard dash showing smooth strides. Was confident with the leather in the infield while throwing it 84 mph across the diamond. Physical cuts in the box as he utilized strong hands. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee.

Kennedy Cooper Jr.  OF - 2022 - Statesboro, GA
East Georgia College

Cooper was mighty impressive in multiple facets of the game. Was a good runner as he ran the sixty in 6.96 seconds. Covered plenty of real estate with that speed in the outfield and had a strong arm to go with it while throwing it 85 mph during drills. Swung it with pop in the box too as he stayed direct with the hand path and squared the baseball up with every swing. Recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph.

Kelton Phillips  SS - 2022 - Round Rock, TX

Phillips was extremely well-rounded on both sides of the ball. In the box, the right-handed stick stayed balanced at all times as he fired the hands and hips in a timely fashion. Impacted out front and hit it where pitched. Multiple extra-base knocks in games with doubles into each gap. Was confident with the leather on defense as he proved he could play either position in the middle infield.

Walker Rempfer  RHP - 2022 - Milton, GA

Rempfer first impressed early Saturday morning as he ran a speedy 6.72 second sixty yard dash. Carried that athleticism over to defensive work as he moved well laterally. Confident with the glove and sports a strong arm as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Handled the bat in a mature fashion in the box as he drove it to all fields on a line. Also jumped on the mound and was up to 85 mph with a good vertical breaking ball.


2023 Top Prospects

Tristan Head  SS - 2023 - Jupiter, FL
Virginia

Head had one of the most impressive weekends of any prospect as the 6-2/185 shortstop ran a 6.75, threw 94 mph across the infield and was explosive on both sides of the dish generating great leverage and impact from the left side throughout that part of his round.

Nate Isler  RHP - 2023 - Milton, GA
Dartmouth

Isler was one of the most impressive pitchers in the entire event. The 6-foot-5 right-hander released from a downhill angle and went right after hitters. Fastball was up to 88 mph and he missed every barrel. Mixed in a sharp breaking ball and a changeup with both being swing and miss pitches. Huge upside with room to fill out physically.

Nicholas Allen  OF - 2023 - Milton, GA
North Carolina A&T

Allen may be one of the most physically gifted prospects in the '23 class. Ran an easy 6.56 second sixty yard dash. The speed translated into the outfield as he roamed the outfield with long strides. Also proved to have a strong arm as he threw it 81 mph during drills. Big power in the box as he knows how to leverage the baseball. Tripled into the left-center gap and cruised into third standing up during games.

Walker Barron  C - 2023 - Atlanta, GA
East Carolina

Barron was one of the most fundamentally sound catchers in the event. Feel for framing the baseball and recorded a pop time of 1.94 seconds. Played a rangy infield and threw it 86 mph across the diamond as well. Swung it with authority in the box as he found a barrel in every cut. Highlight of the weekend was an extra-base hit off the top of the pull-side fence.

Weston Turner  SS - 2023 - Hahira, GA

Turner started off his weekend in an impressive fashion as he ran a 6.96 second sixty yard dash. Quickly inserted his name into conversation with his defensive drills as he worked around the baseball in a fluid manner. Arm strength on display as he threw it 82 mph with accuracy. Was mighty impressive in the box as well as he flashed easy power to the pull-side and sprayed it on a line the other way. Recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph.

Braiden Moore  1B - 2023 - Westminster, SC
Florence-Darlington Technical College

Moore is listed as a primary arm, but with the bat he was mighty impressive. He took a loud round of batting practice where he sent four balls out the pull side using a simple yet strong swing and then in game he barreled the ball well, including a no-doubt homerun in game one.

Jacori McGee  MIF - 2023 - Atlanta, GA
Tuskegee

McGee is an athletic outfielder who took very good at-bats during game action, using a loose and whippy swing to hit from multiple parts of the zone and handle tough pitches deep in counts.

Jayden Reid  SS - 2023 - Atlanta, GA
Bishop State CC

Reid put his elite level athleticism to good use in all facets of the game this weekend. Ran a 7.11 second sixty yard dash. Great first step instincts in the infield as he showcased lateral range and feel for coming to get slow rollers. Threw it 85 mph across the diamond during drills. Was also up to 84 mph on the mound as he blew hitters away. Balanced swing in the box as the right-handed hitter seemed to find a barrel with every cut in both batting practice and in games.

Jake Carden  RHP - 2023 - Meansville, GA
LaGrange College

Carden was an absolute dude on the mound. The right-hander was deceptive in his delivery as he went right after hitters. Ran the fastball up to 82 mph and mixed in a couple of solid off-speed pitches. Also played a solid infield as he gathered it up with confidence and threw it 81 mph across the diamond. Polished swings in the box as he drove it where pitched on a line. Huge upside in multiple facets of the game.

Sean Drummond  OF - 2023 - Pace, FL

Drummond proved to have legit two-way abilities. On the mound, he utilized a smooth delivery as he was up to 83 mph and mixed in a very sharp breaking ball. That arm strength carried onto defense as he threw it 80 mph from the outfield. Can't over look the speed either as he ran a 6.70 second sixty yard dash. Swung it with juice in the box as he looked to do damage with every cut he took.

Coleman Granberry  1B - 2023 - Auburn, AL

Granberry was mighty impressive both in the box and on the mound. The left-handed pitcher was violent in his release as he topped out at 81 mph. Also flashed a breaking ball showing depth. In the box, he fired the hips and hands as he generated big time bat speed. Crushed a double in games to the pull-side gap.

Shamaar McDuffie  SS - 2023 - Hampton, GA
Kennesaw State

McDuffie utilized one of the quickest arms you will see in the event. Threw it mid-80's around the field during drills and was up to 82 mph on the bump. Shows big time upside as he still has plenty of room to fill out the frame. Flashed advanced bat on ball skills in the box as he showcased he could drive it to all fields on a line.

Ty Jones  OF - 2023 - Columbus, GA
Georgia Highlands

Jones had many tools on display this weekend as he shows big time upside. Ran a 7.16 second sixty yard dash and that translated into outfield work. Great first step as he was confident with the glove and also showed off a strong arm, throwing it 86 mph during drills. Strength in the swing too as the ball jumped off the bat when he timed it up properly.

Julian Wright  OF - 2023 - Cartersville, GA

Wright flashed plus athleticism all over the field in both workouts and games. Ran a 6.80 second sixty yard dash as he stole bags at will. Bowden flashed legit two-way potential. On the mound, the righty was very deceptive as he stayed compact while running the baseball up to 80 mph. Proved he could spin the breaking ball a bit as well. Clarence Callaway  C - 2024 - Conyers, GA

Callaway utilized a physical build the lower half is already very sturdy. Was solid behind the dish as he recorded a pop time of 1.95 seconds during drills. Very strong arm. Was up to 85 mph on the mound as well. Swung it with intent in the box as he shows big time juice. Doubled off the top of the left-centerfield wall during games. Recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph as well.

Cooper Sanford  MIF - 2024 - Fayette, AL

Sanford was extremely well-rounded for his age in the event. Did everything on the field at a high level. Was very athletic in his defensive actions. Roamed the outfield comfortably and had a hose to go with it. Threw it 87 mph during workouts. Was also solid behind the dish as he spotted up on corners with soft hands. Recorded a pop time of 2.08 seconds. Jumped on the mound and carved for good measure as well.

Adam McKelvey  LHP - 2024 - Roswell, GA

McKelvey was mighty impressive this weekend. Huge juice in the box as he seemed to tally an extra-base knock with every at-bat. Doubled deep to rightfield before hitting an absolute no doubter into the trees on Sunday. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Huge upside in the box going forward.

Chase Cartron  LHP - 2024 - Owens Cross Roads, AL
Troy

Cartron is as physically imposing at it gets at this age standing at 6-6/205 and that length plays well with his barrel skills as he works loose through the zone and showed he could impact the ball hard on a line to pull when squared.

Austin McCabe  RHP - 2024 - Cumming, GA

McCabe was well-rounded in every aspect of the game. Ran a 6.96 second sixty yard dash to start his weekend. Was very impressive in the outfield as he was fundamental with footwork before showing of a strong arm, throwing it 83 mph during drills. Dominated on the mound as he ran the fastball up to 83 mph. Swung it with authority in the box as he looked to drive it to the pull-side for power.

Eli Stephens  C - 2024 - Warner Robins, GA

Stephens was one of the most fundamentally sound catchers from his class in the event. Great feel for framing the baseball and knows how to smother the baseball in the dirt. Recorded a pop time of 2.00 seconds during drills. Also swung it with intent in the box from the left-side. Knows how to create leverage and drive it deep. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph.

William Maginnis  3B - 2024 - Newnan, GA
Georgia State

Maginnis was impressive as a two-way guy during the event. In the box, he utilized a short, simple stroke as he delivered the bat head on time. Proved he could spray it around and recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Was very solid on the mound. Ran the fastball up to 82 mph with a quick arm and generated big sink with the heater. Mixed in a quality breaking ball as well as he got swing and miss.

Landon Brice  RHP - 2024 - Atlanta, GA

Brice was physically mature for the age as he stood at a filled out 6-foot 200 lbs. Was athletic in his actions as well with him running a 7.16 second sixty yard dash. Played a rangy outfield and the arm strength is already advanced with him throwing it 83 mph. Also swung it with juice in the box. Proved he could create leverage and drove it to the pull-side with intent. Recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph.

Bonn was one of the most pure hitters in the entire event. Some physicality about him already with plenty more growing to do in the future. Bat on ball skills showing advanced as he squared it up in every at-bat. Doubled to rightfield in games. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Was also more than serviceable behind the dish. Received the baseball well and had a pop time of 2.07 seconds.

Coy Argo  OF - 2024 - Commerce, GA

Argo started his weekend off with statement as he ran a 6.87 second sixty yard dash. Carried that speed into defensive drills as he flashed range at shortstop. Arm was very accurate as he threw it 73 mph during drills. Also showed well on the bump as he was mechanically sound while running the fastball up to 78 mph. Physical cuts in the box as he looked to drive it out of the park with every cut. Doubled to rightfield in game and recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph off the tee.

Pearl impressed with his fundamental actions in the infield. Knows how to drop step a low line drive and was confident with the leather. Threw it with pin point accuracy at 73 mph. Also swung it well in the box as he utilized a linear cut and drove it wherever the baseball was pitched on a line.

Anderson Deaderick  OF - 2024 - Marietta, GA

Deaderick kicked his weekend off with a bang as he ran a speedy 6.79 second sixty yard dash. Speed carried over to drills as he took aggressive routes in the outfield. Accurate arm as he threw it 75 mph. Also jumped on the mound and went right after hitters with an upper-70's fastball. Very confident in the box as the right-handed hitter sprayed it on a line to all fields. Bat on ball skills showing as advanced.

Reed Thursby  RHP - 2024 - Johns Creek, GA
Georgia Highlands

Thursby shows big time upside on the mound as the left-hander filled up the zone. Ran the fastball up to 82 mph with an easy arm action and shows way more in the tank going forward. Proved he could spin the breaking ball as well while missing barrels. Projects in a big way on the mound going forward.

LaDorian Jordan  OF - 2024 - Carrollton, GA

Jones was dominant on the bump as the left-hander shows immense upside. Was up to 80 mph and mixed in a sharp breaking ball. Also proved he could drop the changeup off the table. Missed barrels and went right after hitters. Big things coming for this young man.
