2021 Top Prospects

Kay-Lan Nicasia  SS - 2021 - Miami, FL
Uncommitted

Nicasia, an International student from Curaçao, was fun to watch all weekend all over the field. A switch-hitting shortstop with a projectable swing from both sides. We really like his actions in the infield and the arm strength stood out.

Joseph Cordoba  C - 2021 - Kissimmee, FL
Uncommitted

The top defensive catcher both from a catch-and-throw and blocking standpoint. Cordoba showed really good flexibility in his hips, a sure reception and a good arm. He also hit well in game action with a heavy barrel through the hitting zone.

Sean Corcoran  1B - 2021 - Bristow, VA
Uncommitted

Cannot miss Sean Corcoran, a 6-foot-6 first baseman with limitless projection physically. His strength is only going to come and the quickness of his hands in the box allowed him to hit a bomb in BP and create good back spun fly balls.

Haziel Cruz Mendez  OF - 2021 - Caguas, PR
Uncommitted

Mendez ran the best 60 at a mark of 6.61 seconds and the swing is certainly promising. The right-hand swing has bat speed with good lower half involvement. He worked out in the outfield with good athleticism at the position too.

Nathan Saavedra  OF - 2021 - South Lyon, MI
Schoolcraft College

Saavedra has outstanding hand quickness and wrist strength that was focused on his DiamondKinetic testing. He showcased the top bat speed in batting practice that was confirmed during testing up to 72 mph max barrel speed.

Dylan Wolff  RHP - 2021 - Fort Myers, FL
Uncommitted

Wolff has a very loose arm with a low- to mid-80s fastball and a good slider. The day 2 pitcher was impressive on the hill from a projection standpoint as he has so much room to fill on his frame.

Brady Templeton  OF - 2021 - Bellevue, IA
Uncommitted

Templeton was all over the field using his quick-twitch athleticism. The outfielder tracked the baseball well and his 6.82 speed showed up in game with his disruption on the bases and hard 90s down the line.

Kaleb Lore  RHP - 2021 - Enterprise, AL
Cameron

Lore is a tall and athletic right-hander with a good fastball from a downhill plane. The heater tops out at 83 mph but the arm works and there is reason to believe there is more in the tank with added strength.

2022 Top Prospects

José Zayas  RHP - 2022 - Kissimmee, FL
Eastern Florida State

Zayas is a lean a projectable right-hander from Kissimmee whose fastball can reach the mid-80s. He features a three pitch mix, has a good idea on the mound the changeup he has can be a weapon playing off of his fastball.

Christian Del Campo  RHP - 2022 - Tampa, FL
St. Petersburg College

Del Campo may have been one of the youngest players in attendance but the catcher from Tampa has a standout arm both behind the dish and on the mound. His secondary position is a right-handed pitcher, but the fastball reaches the mid-80s and the feel for the strike zone is strong.
