2021 Top Prospects

Andrew Boeser  RHP - 2021 - Shoreview, MN
Iowa Central CC

Boeser dominated on the bump during his outing, sitting 86-88 mph with present arm speed that's easy to project on. He truly makes for a tough at-bat, as he hides the ball well and has a four-pitch repertoire that he can command.

Ryan Wong  RHP - 2021 - Chicago, IL
California Institute of Technology

Wong sat 84-87 mph with a heavy cut fastball and a sharp, 12/6 curveball with late bite. The senior utilizes a balanced and controlled operation with an explosive lower half, and certainly won't be uncommitted for long.


2022 Top Prospects

Austin Henry  RHP - 2022 - Dell Rapids, SD
Wichita State

Henry comes from an over the top slot and creates a tough downhill plane that proved to be a problem for opposing hitters. He sat 85-89 mph and generated a lot of swing and miss up in the zone, while flashing a hammer curveball with 12/6 shape.

Mason Koch  RHP - 2022 - Omaha, NE
Creighton

Koch displayed impressive pitchability in this one, sitting 85-88 mph and featuring a four-pitch mix with great movement and command of each. He showed a real quick arm and a clean and fluid arm action that projects well.

Brayden Marks  RHP - 2022 - Elkhorn, WI
Bradley

Marks has a large 6'5/220 frame with some physical projection remaining, and sat 85-88 mph with heavy arm side run. He painted the corners with his fastball and showed a late-breaking slider that he tunneled extremely well.

Matt Merk  C - 2022 - Lockport, IL
Eastern Florida State

Merk really impressed with the bat, showcasing strong hands and taking aggressive hacks in the box. The junior was seeing the ball well during the games, producing multiple hard hit balls to all parts of the field.

Tamden Webb-Tate  C - 2022 - Ankeny, IA
St. Charles CC

Webb-Tate has all the makings of a power hitter and middle-of-the-order bat, and he demonstrated his strength in this one, recording an event-best 95 mph exit velocity. He also has a cannon behind the plate, recording another even-best 80 mph catcher velocity.

John Sekich  C - 2022 - Longmont, CO
Uncommitted

Sekich showed off his arm strength in the drills, throwing 78 mph from behind the plate and recording a 2.00 second pop time. The 6-foot-1 junior has definite power potential as well, as he displayed the ability to elevate the ball with solid impact.

Joseph "JD" Rodriguez  RHP - 2022 - Corona, CA
Southern California

Rodriguez is a large-framed right-hander with a lot of pieces to like and things to project on. He sat 80-84 mph in this one with a smooth and fluid delivery and a 12/6 curveball with tilt.


2023 Top Prospects

Ryan Hussey  RHP - 2023 - Mokena, IL
Ohio State

Hussey displayed advanced arm speed in this look, sitting 86-88 mph and doing it easily. He has a simple and repeatable operation and does a great job of staying balanced throughout the delivery.

Maksymilian Pierga  RHP - 2023 - Barrington, IL
Eastern Illinois

Pierga has an imposing 6'5/225 frame and put together quite the performance in this one, striking out the side in both of his innings while walking none. He sat 82-85 mph from a lower slot, and the frame and arm speed project for velocity developments in the future.

Ryan Geraghty  RHP - 2023 - Mundelein, IL
Wichita State

Geraghty has a long and lanky frame that projects well with added strength, and he does a great job of using his lower half to power down the mound. He sat 82-85 mph in this one, topping out at 86 mph and flashing a curveball and changeup mix that he tunneled well with the fastball.

Connor Capece  C - 2023 - Omaha, NE
Creighton

Capece showed advanced arm strength for his age, recording an event-best 1.95 pop time while throwing 78 mph from behind the plate. He also looked solid on the mound, running his fastball up to 82 mph.


2024 Top Prospects

Anson Seibert  RHP - 2024 - Overland Park, KS
Tennessee

Seibert has a 6'7/226 frame as a freshman, and was up to 88 mph in this look. The young prospect is truly a special talent and has plenty of projection to dream upon. He has an extremely short arm action with present arm speed, and the ball really jumps out of his hand.

Joey Oakie  RHP - 2024 - Ankeny, IA
Iowa

Oakie is another young prospect that opened some eyes with his performance. He sat 84-86 mph, topping out at 87 mph and showing advanced arm speed that will continue to increase with added strength.

Jack Clark  C - 2024 - Solon, IA
St. Cloud State

Clark has a physically advanced build with present strength to his 6'2/200 frame. He showed solid actions behind the plate and put together some quality at bats during the game.
