2021 Top Prospects

Asa Waites  SS - 2021 - Chicago, IL

The 2021 grad showed mature actions throughout the day on both sides of the baseball. Stood out offensively utilizing a clean, repeatable barrel plane that produced hard contact to both gaps. Also flashed solid feel on the mound working to all quadrants of the zone with ease. Fastball topped at 81 mph and consistently located off speed to the bottom of the zone.


2022 Top Prospects

Collin Hoskins  C - 2022 - Urbana, IA

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound catcher displayed good hand strength behind the plate while receiving pitches with good lateral range. Hoskins showed very quick glove to hand exchanges while throwing to the bag topping at 74 mph, best workout pop time of 1.90. The 2022 grad also showed good barrel skills at the plate with a compact path to contact.

Matt Dworsky  C - 2022 - Deerfield, IL
College of Central Florida

Dworsky also showed good hands behind the plate with solid balance while receiving pitches. Showed in game actions while throwing from behind the plate with polish, sound actions. Offensively, the Illinois native aggressively threw his barrel to contact generating present bat speed and strength at contact. Consistently created loud contact that produced solid carry to both outfield gaps.


2023 Top Prospects

Connor Capece  C - 2023 - Omaha, NE
Creighton

The Omaha native showed very mature actions behind the plate with the ability to hand pitches throughout the zone. Created good online momentum towards the bag while throwing and generated accurate, online carry. Topped at 76 mph from behind the plate while posting a best workout pop time of 1.93. Capece also impressed at the plate utilizing a compact, direct path to contact. Controlled the barrel well throughout the zone while showing present bat speed with strength.

Caden Bogenpohl  OF - 2023 - Jackson, MO
Missouri State

The Jackson, MO native displayed clean, smooth footwork while traveling to the baseball. Showed fluid glove actions at pick up with the ability to release from multiple arm angles. At the plate, the 2023 grad utilized a linear barrel plane and generated good extension through the baseball. Generated good jump off the barrel and repeatable created sharp contact between the gaps.

Pierce Anderson  RHP - 2023 - Johnston, IA
Kirkwood CC

Anderson showed clean actions defensively while moving to and through the baseball while on the infield. At the plate, the 2023 grad displayed raw bat speed that produced loud jump off the barrel when squared. Was also impressive on the mound showing a quick arm through extension. Fastball jumped out of the hand well creating solid downhill plane through the zone up to 84 mph. Curveball created tight 11/5 shape with late depth in the mid 60's.

Ryan Geraghty  RHP - 2023 - Mundelein, IL
Wichita State

The Illinois native utilized a smooth, repeatable side step delivery while on the mound. Stays very balanced throughout while driving in line to the plate. Created good arm speed through extension while releasing from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball jumped out of hand well producing heavy run to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 mph. Geraghty also displayed good feel for a 10/5 breaking ball in the upper 60's and a fading changeup in the low 70's.


2024 Top Prospects

Colton Angell  3B - 2024 - Oshkosh, WI
Southeastern CC

The Wisconsin native displayed very good feel for the barrel while at the plate with present bat speed. Stays compact to contact with the ability to generate solid lift through the baseball. Angell consistently looked to attack the baseball with intent and produced easy carry to the gaps. The 2024 grad also flashed good projection on the mound. Displayed good command to both edges of the plate with his fastball topping at 81 mph. Curveball showed tight 11/5 shape with later depth in the upper 60's. Also generated solid running action to arm side with a changeup that sat in the low 70's.


2025 Top Prospects

Sean Gamble  SS - 2025 - Des Moines, IA
Vanderbilt

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound shortstop displayed mature actions throughout the day. Showed clean glove actions defensively while taking good angles to the baseball while on the move. At the plate, the 2025 grad utilized a balance, repeatable barrel plane. Consistently threw the barrel to contact on time with the bat head control to work to all fields. Also flashed solid bat speed through extension that produced good jump to the outfield gaps when squared.
