2021 Top Prospects

Gunner Aldridge  2B - 2021 - Birmingham, MI
Michigan State

Showcased big time juice in the bat as the sweet swinging lefty generated easy pop. Launched a homerun to the pull-side during games that was a no doubter. Swings the bat with intent was a threat in the box every time he stepped in the box. Good athlete who ran a 7.20 sixty yard dash on a wet track.

Luke Rolland  RHP - 2021 - Searcy, AR

Flashed a long lean frame with room to fill out physically in the frame. Whippy arm action and releases from a tough 3/4 slot. Fastball up to 85 mph and mixed in a sweeping slider. Went right after hitters and struck out 5 of first 6 he faced. Pitchability showing and proves to be projectable as well.

Connor Shimek  OF - 2021 - New Philadelphia, OH

Utilized a physical build as he stands at an athletic 6-foot-2. Plays a solid corner outfield as he reads the baseball well off the bat. Threw it 79 mph during drills with throws on the bag. Bat is his strongest tool as he found barrels in each at bat during games. Proved he can drive the baseball gap to gap and generated some of the loudest contact on the weekend.

Wyatt Fisher  RHP - 2021 - Cincinnati, OH

Had a great showing on the mound as he flashed a lean 6-foot-2 frame. The right-handed arm was direct to the dish with repeatable mechanics and combined that with a whippy arm. Filled up the zone with the fastball that was up to 85 mph. Good feel for a slider that had late sweep in mid-70's. Confident mound presence. Projects well on the mound.

Jake Orr  2B - 2021 - Washington, PA
Seton Hill

Orr flashed a stocky, physical build as he proved to be a utility guy who can swing the stick. He worked cleanly in the outfield and the arm strength is starting to show as he threw it 80 mph during drills. Was also serviceable in the infield as he had a quick first step and did a good job of keeping the baseball in front of him. In the box, did a great job of generating separation with his hands and proved he could spray it on a line to all fields. Has some pop in the bat to the pull-side when he gets extended as well.

Max Cairo  C - 2021 - Highland Park, IL

Cairo showcased as a solid defender in the outfield and had the arm strength to go with it is as he threw it 86 mph during drills. Proved to be athletic as he roamed the outfield with confidence. Was also good behind the dish with soft hands and a quick transfer on throw downs as he recorded a 2.14 second pop time. Found some barrels this weekend and proved to have strong hands while creating some bat speed at the dish.

Mac Ciocco  1B - 2021 - Venetia, PA

Ciocco was the strongest player at the event, checking in at a well muscled 6-2/215, and he used his strength very well in his right handed swing. He regularly drove the ball deep to right centerfield in games and BP and had an eye opening 100 mph exit velocity in drills.

Evan Krolewski  3B - 2021 - Dexter, MI

Krolewski had the most impactful game speed at the showcase, running the bases with speed and abandon and forcing the defense into mistakes. He runs a 6.76 sixty and is a strong right handed hitter.


2022 Top Prospects

Jared Teke  C - 2022 - Batavia, OH
Northern Kentucky

Teke impressed both on the bump and behind the plate on defense. Behind the dish, he proved he could spot up and block baseballs while holding runners with a strong, accurate arm. He recorded a 2.08 second pop time and threw it on the money. His mound appearance was very impressive as well. He was athletic in the delivery while working with a clean operation. Fastball showed downhill plane as he ran it up to 85 mph. Mixed in an 11-to-5 curveball and a sweeping slider as well. Also, flashed feel for a fading changeup in low-70's. Projects big time on the mound as he mowed people down this weekend.

Connor Lindsey  C - 2022 - O'Fallon, IL
Washington University (Missouri)

Proved to be one of the biggest bats in the event while doing a great job behind the plate on defense. In the box, he hit a few long fly balls to the warning track during games. Big time pop in the bat as he generates easy power while looking to do damage with every swing. Great behind the dish as he stole strikes on the corners and blocked the baseball up. Recorded a 2.00 second pop time and threw the baseball on the bag.

Sam Duvall  RHP - 2022 - Cape Coral, FL
Pasco-Hernando CC

Duvall impressed in multiple facets of the game this weekend. On the mound, he delivered with intent and went right after hitters as made them swing the bat. He had good feel for the fastball to both sides of the plate as he ran it up to 83 mph. Mixed in an 11-to-5 breaking ball as well in upper-60's. Plays an athletic middle infield as well. Glove is clean and he threw it 85 mph across the diamond during drills. Good approach at the dish as he drives it where it is pitched. Whippy barrel and drove the baseball on a line.

Jay Flynn  SS - 2022 - Edgewood, KY
University of the Cumberlands

Great feel on the mound for a three pitch mix. Simple operation as he finished direct to the dish and the arm works. Mixed pitches well and missed barrels. Fastball was up to 81 mph. Landed sweeping slider for strikes and flashed a late diving changeup as well.


2023 Top Prospects

Jonathan Fitz  C - 2023 - Edgewood, KY
San Diego

Fitz was one of the strongest defensive catchers in the event as he proved to have soft hands and strong arm to compliment it. Sat in his stance athletically and flashed quick transfers on throw downs. Recorded a 1.95 second pop time with downhill throws on the bag. Also, proved he could swing it. Utilized a slightly uphill swing path as he shows big time pop to the pull-side when he gets extended. Big time upside showing already.

Drew Owen  RHP - 2023 - Murfreesboro, TN

Owen was impressive on the mound this weekend as he filled up the zone and had an advanced feel for his three pitch mix. Whippy arm as he got extended down the mound and pounded the strike zone. Fastball up to 79 mph that he worked both sides of the dish with. Spun the breaking ball well as he landed it for strikes showing 11-to-5 break. Changeup shows to be a promising pitch as well.

Cole Ballard  3B - 2023 - Westfield, IN

Ballard is a big and strong 6-2,200 right handed hitter with is a nice athlete with 7.04 speed in the sixty. His athleticism showed well in the games and he was also 80 mph off the mound with good downhill angle.


2024 Top Prospects

Landan Browning  RHP - 2024 - Barberton, OH
Dayton

Browning had a solid outing on the mound as he proves to be projectable. Clean operation that he repeats well and the arm action is fluid. Will throw hard one day with a physical gain. Missed barrels and was efficient on the mound. Fastball up to 80 mph with slight arm side run. Spun the breaking ball well as it flashed depth in the upper-60's.

Alex Martin  3B - 2024 - Rush, KY
Xavier

Martin has big time confidence in the box as he swung the bat with authority this weekend. He took some big hacks and took a loud round of batting practice. In games, he proved he could drive the baseball gap to gap on a line. Bat has big time upside showing.


2025 Top Prospects

Tanner Thomas  RHP - 2025 - Arcola, IL
Louisville

Thomas was exceptionally well on the mound this weekend. His mechanics were simple and repeatable as he filled up the zone. The arm is fluid and whippy as he threw his fastball up to 79 mph and he shows plenty more in the tank down the road. He was able to throw a sharp biting breaking ball and got opposing hitters to chase it. He held velocity during his outing and was very impressive for his young age. The overall projectability is something to be excited about.
