Morio showed off his strength and bat-to-ball skills during batting practice, creating good jump off the barrel and to the middle of the field. He showcased the ability to manipulate the bathead throughout the zone while maintaining leverage to all parts of the field. On the mound, the 6-foot-1 right-hander went after hitters right out of the gate, keeping them mistimed with his slurvy breaking ball.

Malone was effective on the mound, locating his pitches on the corners of the strike zone while running his fastball up to 75 mph. The 5-foot-10 right-hander pitched with confidence and sequenced in his low-60s curveball effectively. During batting practice, Malone impacted baseballs with good strength and consistency. He remained short to the ball while generating easy bat speed through the zone.

Gibbs turned in a consistent round of batting practice, creating good lift and backspin to the pull-side and middle of the field. The righty hitter showcased a loose and repeatable stroke with impressive control of the barrel throughout the strike zone. On the mound, Gibbs induced swings and misses with both his fastball and 11-5 breaker, locating his mix effectively around the strike zone.
