2024 Top Prospects

Owen Paino  SS - 2024 - Poughkeepsie, NY
Mississippi

Impressed on both sides of the ball. Up to 81 mph on the hill and showcased what was the most dominating breaking ball of the 14u event with a large shape and great bite down. Good hands and a quick transfer from the infield, as well as a smooth and strong stroke at the plate. High ceiling for his age with his ability on the mound and around the diamond.

Ryan Everitt  1B - 2024 - Weslaco, TX
Uncommitted

He was up to 71 mph on the bump, but the primary first baseman impressed at the plate with his already plus power tool and good feel for his swing. In the first game of the showcase he surprised many by blasting a home run over the left center field wall. He also doubled down the left field line later in the showcase. He has the potential to develop into a very dangerous bat as he matures.

Drew Dyke  RHP - 2024 - Mount Pleasant, TX
Uncommitted

Another ball player that impressed on both sides of the ball. Was up to 81 mph on the mound with some deception and a tight spinning 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball. Possesses present strength and leverage at the plate. His raw bat speed, strong arm, and advanced build give him plenty of potential to build off of as his game develops.

Ellington Jefferson  OF - 2024 - Dallas, TX
Amarillo College

Large athletic frame that is far advanced for his age. Led the showcase in a ton of raw numbers categories including: exit velocity at 87 mph, infield velocity at 82 mph, outfield velocity at 81 mph, sixty yard dash time at 7.02 seconds, and ten yard splits at 1.56 seconds. Crushed a triple over the left fielder's head and his overall raw ability can not be understated.

Pryce Bender  SS - 2024 - Edmond, OK
Nebraska

Recorded the second highest exit velocity at 82 mph and shows quickness to his hands with a compact bat path. Was up to 76 mph on the mound with a short quick arm action and he filled up the zone nicely. Also showed some nice softness to his hands at short with positive initial reads.

Carson Mirike  RHP - 2024 - Prosper, TX
Uncommitted

Simple and efficient primary pitcher that was up to 75 mph. Making a conscious effort to develop a changeup early with an already solid feel for his fastball and breaking ball. His fastball possesses some arm side run and he really did a nice job of keeping hitters off balance. Three pitch mix should mature nicely alongside his arm strength.

Miles Syptak  OF - 2024 - Cypress, TX
University of Texas at Arlington

Tied for the quickest pop time of the 14u showcase recording a 2.26 second time, and tied for second best velocity behind the plate at 64 mph. His loose swing with present bat speed proves to only improve as his 5-foot-10 frame fills out, and his linear weight shift in the box with balance provides a mature base for his swing.

Major Spence  LHP - 2024 - Lewisville, TX
Uncommitted

Primary left handed pitcher up to 70 mph, but he impressed most at the plate with his aggressive mentality and present athleticism. Smoked an inside the park home run over the center fielder's head on day two of the showcase. Has quick hands with a flat bat path. The swagger and competitiveness to his game are infectious to be around.

2025 Top Prospects

Karson Trichel  RHP - 2025 - Monroe, LA
Louisiana State

Advanced build for a 2025, shows athleticism in all facets of his game. Found a lot of hard contact throughout the showcase and made an excellent bare hand play on the run from shortstop. He impressed with how mature his mechanics look and they'll serve as a great base as he develops. Was also up to 76 mph on the mound with a good feel for the zone.
