Nathan Waligora (2020 RHP, Livonia, MI) Strong and projectable righthanded pitcher on the mound. Gets down the mound well while creating extension out front on the fastball up to 87 miles per hour. Creates plane through the zone while remaining around the knees. Also landed a curveball with some sharpness for strikes. 

Trey Gray (2022 C, Maumee, OH) Works well behind the dish with solid receiving skills and athleticism when working to the ball. Also collected a hit in the game on a hard struck drive through the right side of the field. 

Elliott Veenstra (2021 2B, Findlay, OH) Smooth hands defensively up the middle. Actions are clean and project well moving forward. Should be able to continue to patrol the middle of the field while increasing size and strength

Kyren Power (2020 1B, Plainfield, IN) Physical lefthanded pitcher throwing from a lower slot. Heavy fastball and filling the zone well with the pitch showing arm side run at 80 miles per hour. Also able to land a 67 mile per hour curveball for strikes.

Jaden Henline (2020 RHP, New Cumberland, PA): Henline is a very long and lean righthander with a very fast arm, working up to 89 mph with his fastball and showing some serious deception to his delivery. Also did a good job throwing SL/CH combo for strikes. 

Derek Bolander (2020 RHP, Oregon, OH): A lithe, skinny junior; Bolander ran his fastball up to 84 mph from both a clean delivery and arm action, projecting well for future velocity as he puts some strength on his frame. He also shows a solid breaking ball with good depth, missing bats with it. 

Michael Stellrecht (2022 MIF, E.Amherst, NY): Stellrecht picked up a pair of base hits in this game, showing the willingness and ability to work the opposite way with authority, covering the plate well and not trying to do too much. 

Tyler Pettorini (2021 SS, Wooster, OH): Pettorini showed good hands and overall hitting mechanics in BP and continued to do so in this game, picking up a couple base knocks up the middle and continuing to show really good hands and barrel skills at the plate. 

Grant Reising (2021 LHP, Canton, MI): Reising, a highly-projectable lefthander, worked in the 78-82 mph with his fastball, creating good angle to the plate and really projecting well. He also missed bats with a big-breaking curveball. 

Brady Ginaven (2022 RHP, Munster, IN): Ginaven took a really good BP earlier in the day then got on the mound in this game and was also good, working up to 83 mph with his fastball with a clean arm and delivery, really extending well and throwing plenty of strikes with a quality changeup as well.

Adam Falinski (2020 RHP, Howell, MI) Was impressive in his three innings today sitting 78-82 miles per hour while topping out at 84 miles per hour. 

Matthew Dobuck (2021 LHP, Walkerton, IN) Showed good pitchability mixing three pitches for a strike topping out at 79 miles per hour. Allowed no hits in three innings of work while collecting five strike outs.

Aiden Hinds (2020 SS, Muncie, IN) Blasted a double over the center fielders head off the wall. Utilizes a gap to gap approach with present power. 

Jaden Henline (2020 RHP, New Cumberland, PA) Showed great arm speed with deception in the delivery. Flashed fastball with some arm side movement topping out at 88 miles per hour. Displayed ability to throw three pitches for a strike. 
Great Lakes Indoor BP Highlights: Day 2

Joseph Gallo (2020 1B, Niles, OH): Gallo took a really nice round on Sunday morning, consistently getting the barrel out with quality bat speed, squaring the ball up, and really driving it on a line with authority, consistently.

Kyren Power (2020 1B, Plainfield, IN): Power has excellent physicality and strength, and that strength shows up in his swing, where he showed significant lefthanded raw power with the ability to really drive the ball with authority. 

Brady Ginaven (2022 RHP, Munster, IN): Ginaven is seriously projectable physically, and he already shows good bat speed with some jump off the barrel, projecting for big time power as he continues gaining strength. 

Anthony Migliaccio (2021 C, Wyandotte, MI): A switch-hitter, Migliaccio showed big time hitting tools from both sides of the plate, especially lefthanded. He has significant bat speed and smooth, efficient stroke, capable of driving the ball with authority up both gaps consistently. 

Chris Gault (2021 SS, Laporte, IN): Gault showed really nice hitting tools with a simple, repeatable stroke, staying committed to the middle of the field and squaring up consistent liners.

Dylan Gamber (2022 C, Mayfield Village, OH): Gamber has a smooth righthanded stroke to go along with quality bat speed, and he did a good job consistently finding the barrel on line, as well as showing some jump to the pull side. 

Bryce Carley (2020 OF, Catlettsburg, KY): Carley showed high-level hitting tools, with a compact and direct path to the ball and a smooth stroke, highlighted by really good bat speed and a quality, whole-field approach. 

Cody Sterkenburg (2019 C, Grand Rapids, MI): Sterkenburg has good physicality, and shows that strength in his swing. When on time, the ball jumps hard off the barrel and shows pretty quality raw pop into the gaps with carry and zip. 

Liam McMurray (2020 1B, North Tonawanda, NY): McMurray has a good bit of strength throughout his body, and that strength does a good job giving him raw power in his swing, where he showed the ability to make the dome look small to dead center field. 

Tyler Sorrentino (2021 OF, Roseland, NJ): Sorrentino has good athleticism and twitch to his game, and his swing is similarly twitchy and quick. He does an excellent job getting the barrel out on time and consistently found the barrel on a line to all fields. 

Tyler Pettorini (2021 SS, Wooster, OH): Pettorini showed off a smooth, balanced stroke with good bat speed and hands through the swing, and did a good job employing a whole-field approach, giving him really nice contact skills.

Logan Staley (2020 LHP, Lowell, MI) Showed good arm strength from the left side sitting 81-82 while topping out at 83 miles per hour. Flashed ability to throw both pitches for a strike with arm side movement on fastball. Collected seven strike outs in his three innings of work. 

Brock Boynton (2019 OF, Mishawaka, IN) Blasted a double off the wall in straight away center field. Flashed speed on the bases beating the throw from the outfield to second base. Collected another hard base hit in his second at bat of the game. 

Kevin Krill (2021 C, White Lake, MI) Collected two base hits in the game. Showed ability to hit ball hard to all fields. 

Brandon Rice (2022 RHP, Macomb Township, MI) A projectable 2022 pitcher. Topped out at 80 miles per hour with a curveball thrown for strikes consistently. 

Preston Leon (2021 SS, Macomb, MI) Flashed good feel for the barrel while getting two base hits in the game. Showed athleticism in the field as well on the base paths with a stolen base.

Chase Gruno (2020 RHP, Birch Run, MI): Gruno showed serious arm strength on the bump, working in the 81-84 mph with his fastball, doing a good job throwing strikes primarily down in the zone. The curveball also showed good shape and depth, and his two pitch mix proved to be overpowering on this day. 

Jonathan Ursuy (2022 1B, Oakland Township, MI): Ursuy took of the better swings of the day thus far in this game, driving a ball over the center fielder's head up against the very back of the dome. His strength and bat speed stand out, especially for a freshman prospect. 

Dryden Schroeder (2020 C, Carmel, IN): Schroeder has shown quick hands at the plate throughout the day, and really turned on a fastball in game play, driving it pull side on a line for extra bases. He had to hustle into second base, and showed some quickness on the basepaths in the process. 

Nicholas Willey (2022 OF, Lagrange, KY): An athletic lefthanded hitter, Willey showed off a quick stroke with some strength to the swing in game by lacing a hard liner over the RF's head into the corner of the domed-in facility. The ball jumped in a loud way off his bat. He picked up a second hit later in the game as well. 

Jack Thunberg (2021 LHP, New Albany, OH): The extremely physical lefthander was very impressive in this one, working in the 78-81 mph with his fastball from an extremely easy, low-effort delivery. He threw strikes to both sides with his fastball and missed bats with a slider and changeup as well. 

Gabriel Nard (2022 SS, Shaker Heights, OH): Nard picked up a pair hits, showing off quick hands and his ability to hit the ball to the pull side with authority, staying on the ball well and showing a quick line drive stroke that he repeats well. He was also up to 84 mph on the mound with good arm speed and physical projection. 

Alex Mooney (2021 SS, Rochester Hills, MI): Mooney picked up a pair of hits in this one, squaring up a fly ball to the right side and then beating out a grounder back up the middle. The combination of athleticism, raw tools, and baseball savvy continues to impress.

Richard Lu (2021 OF, Grand Rapids, MI) turned in a nice inning of work sitting 80-84 mph with his fastball coming from a longer arm action. The ball comes out of his hand cleanly with each of his pitches. He did a great job of mixing speeds with his three pitch mix that included a sharp, late-breaking curveball and a sinking changeup. 

Andrew Kent (2021 RHP, Livonia, MI) dominated in his inning of work on the mound striking out five hitters with his three pitch mix. Kent’s fastball ranged from 79-81 with occasional armside run to the plate. Kent produced plenty of swings and misses with a high strike percentage and an 11-to-5 curveball.


Cameron Bryant (2021 SS, Miamisburg, OH) showed leverage to his path and loud contact especially on his second single of the day. Bryant has a compact frame with advanced hand quickness to produce high exit velocities off of his barrel when squared.

Kevin Krill (2021 C, White Lake, MI): Krill has good size and strength for a sophomore, and he puts that strength on display when hitting, showing a smooth stroke with good bat speed and jump off the barrel when square. 

Nathan Zimcosky (2020 SS, Uniontown, PA): Zimcosky showed off some serious hitting tools, generating excellent bat speed through the zone with smoothness to the barrel, showing the ability to really drive the ball to all fields with very good carry. 

Cameron Bryant (2021 SS, Miamisburg, OH): Bryant showed a very quick, very easy swing from the left side with plenty of compact bat speed, showing the ability to leverage the ball into the air with projectable pop. 

Brock Boynton (2019 OF, Mishawaka, IN): Boynton has had a very good day overall, including with the bat, where he showed impact bat speed from the left side to go along plenty of power. 

Blake Hubble (2020 SS, Knoxville, TN): Hubble showed a quick, linear stroke that gets to the zone quickly and stays there, doing a good job of covering the plate and squaring the ball up frequently. 

Alex Mooney (2021 SS, Rochester Hills, MI): A Duke commit filled with quick-twitch and tools, Mooney has a lot to like about his offensive profile. His hands work extremely well through the swing and his added strength will allow him to drive the ball with more authority this year, with the ability to do damage to all parts of the ballpark. 

Kristofer Stojanovski (2020 OF, Northville, MI): Stojanovski showed off some excellent hitting tools, understanding leverage and showing off some strength as well, getting the ball into the air with authority and doing a good job of squaring up the ball consistently. 

Hogan Heck (2020 OF, Waterville, OH): Heck has had a good day overall, including in BP, where he showed a simple, repeatable swing that works well, consistently squaring up line drives back through the middle and showing high-level hitting skills. 

Jake Dresselhouse (2022 2B, Highland, MI): Dresselhouse as a very good swing at a young age, consistently engaging his lower half and creating leverage off of his front side, driving the ball into the air with authority. He projects for significant power as he gains strength. 

Mitch Jebb (2020 SS, Saginaw, MI): Jebb is another player who has had a very good day overall, and he took a solid BP as well. With a quick lefthanded stroke, Jebb has innate barrel skills and does a good job consistently squaring the ball up, and he really projects for some pop as he gains strength. 

Andino Vecchiolla (2020 LHP, Uniontown, PA): Vecchiolla had a good round, showing off a loose, easy lefthanded stroke with good contact skills, showing the ability to consistently lace line drives to all fields, projecting well for power as he gains strength. 

Jake Keaser (2021 RHP, Rochester, MI): Keaser showed off some of the better raw power of the event, really trying to leverage the ball into the air with authority and doing so with some frequency. He has a shot to hit for significant power.

Hayden Berg (2019 RHP, Granger, IN) Righthanded pitcher with a clean take back, generating arm speed through release. Threw three innings of one hit baseball and collecting seven strikeouts`. Ran the fastball up to 88 miles per hour with a hard breaking curveball and a solid changeup that projects well, able to land both for quality strikes. 

Jake Keaser (2021 RHP, Rochester, MI) Strong righthander with a projectable frame on the mound. Hides the ball well with smoothness to delivery from a three-quarter slot. Worked up to 83 miles per hour with the fastball with feel for the zone. Mixed in a sharp curveball, as well as a changeup.

Hogan Heck (2020 OF, Waterville, OH) Consistently made solid contact with strong feel for the barrel. Keeps stroke compact to contact working the pull side of the field with ease. Also showed off speed on the bases with a couple of swiped bags. 

Brandon Skorupski (2022 LHP, Wixom, MI) Hides the ball well creating some crossfire action to the plate. Heavy fastball touching 77 miles per hour throwing quality strikes. Curveball shows a 1-to-7 shape with developing feel for the pitch.
