Michai Harrison (2023 OF, Fontana, CA) is strongly built at 5-foot-11, 172-pounds and he did a nice job of incorporating that strength with a short stroke through the zone. He showed a handle the barrel and stayed linear through contact, working the middle of the field with line drive contact.
Manoah Chapman (2023 SS, San Diego, CA) is a righthanded bat who showed looseness to his hands and creates nice bat speed through the zone. He projects well physically moving forward as he remains direct to the ball and creates whip with the barrel at the point of contact.
Hunter Friedberg (2023 OF, Redondo Beach, CA) went to the plate with a plan and was able to execute his contact oriented approach nicely. The young lefthanded bat did a nice job of staying short to the ball with extension out front, barrel balls successfully to all parts of the field.
Elias Duncan (2023 MIF, Palo Alto, CA) sports present strength on his frame already and utilizes it well in his swing, showing looseness to through the zone. While he’ll continue to continue to refine his overall path, he creates nice bat speed and shows nice tools to project upon.
Cody Macias (2022 C, El Cajon, CA) did a nice job of handling the barrel throughout his round, shifting his weight well through his lower half into contact. He creates extension out front and while he’ll occasionally get uphill, he shows a handle for the barrel while impacting the ball to his pull side gap.
Michael Harrison (2023 OF, Fontana, CA) is already listed at 6-foot, 177-pounds and the young outfielder showed well during his round before finding the barrel in live action too. He has rhythm in the box and creates separation at the point of contact with looseness to his hands and jump off the barrel to the opposite field.
Alejandro Diaz (2023 SS, Norwalk, CA) showed well in the infield during drills before jumping into the righthanded batter’s box. He does a nice job of staying short to the ball and showed looseness to his hands, generating extension out front with his best contact coming to the middle of the field.
Owen Egan (2023 OF, Yucaipa, CA) is one of the more physical players in attendance, already standing at 5-foot-10, 160-pounds and though he continue to make adjustments to his swing, he already shows nice tools to like. There’s strength in his hands and when he kept his weight back in his swing he was able to drive the ball with jump off the barrel.
Wes Hickey (2023 2B, Yucaipa, CA) utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box and shows rhythm with his mechanics. He stays short to the ball and shows some present jump off the barrel, an area to his offensive game that will only continue to improve as he creates more extension out front at the point of contact.
