Nicholas Calero (2019 SS, Miami, FL) begins with a simple set up in the box as well as loose hands which he uses well to create separation at the point of contact. There’s leverage to his swing and he created nice back spin to the pull side while projecting for more.
Zion Disroe (2019 1B, Lilburn, GA) has a strong, athletic look at the plate and looked to impact the baseball with every swing. Staying short and quick to the ball, Disroe was able to create big jump off the barrel when he got extended out front, launching a long home run with more to come as he continues to incorporate additional lower half.
Jesuan Rivas (2019 C, Bayside, NY) connected for two of the more impressively hit balls during his round, launching two balls far over the replica Monster in the stadium. When he was able to get the barrel out and extended Rivas showed his best contact, showing a full path through the zone.
Albert Espinosa (2019 C, Key Biscayne, FL) utilizes a leg lift trigger at the start of his swing and shows looseness to his swing with a long and linear path through the zone. He worked the middle and pull side parts of the field with linear contact, showing the best jump to his pull side while repeating his mechanics well swing-to-swing.
Samuel Walker (2019 SS, Concord, NC) showed components to his swing to like with quick hands in the box and consistent extension out front. He’ll occasionally get too spread with his shift in his lower half but stays through the ball with loose wrists and steady contact to his pull side.
Billy Kosmala (2019 1B, Lilburn, GA) has movement to his hands at the start of his swing but also shows looseness, looking to impact the ball at the point of contact. He hits the ball out front and shows raw strength in the box with a long home run to finish out his round.
Though he's a primary pitcher, Landon Rascoe (2019 RHP, Hattiesburg, MS) show intriguing hand quickness and bat speed from the right side of the plate. Showing a full path, Rascoe was able to impact the ball to all parts of the field with big jump off the barrel.
