1-Navy

 

Xorian Robinson (2025 SS, El Dorado, AR) has impressed all weekend showing good contact ability as well as great speed on the bases. Lots of range out at short as well. 

 

Jayden Martinez (2024 3B, Dallas, TX) has done nothing but hit this weekend ripping a base knock through the 6 hole while making loud contact. 

 

Dylan Duran (2026 3B, Aledo, TX) barreled a ball to the right-center field gap on a line for a double. He showed ability to really drive the ball with authority the other way.

 

Braxton Robertson (2025 SS, Texarkana, AR) located well off the bump with a nice 2-pitch mix. He ramped his fastball up to 82 and complimented that really well with a change. The change had an 8-10 mph differential from his fastball. 

 

Tate Elliot (2025 C, Midlothian, TX) made some nice plays in the MIF ranging to his left and right. He is able to make off balance throws accurately and on time. He had consistently good at bats and seemed to find the barrel more often than not even when he got out. He got up to 83 on the mound and flashed a tight breaking curve with late bite. He struck out the side in his lone inning of work. 

 

2-Royal

 

Peyton Dryman (2025 C, Saginaw, TX) showed some intriguing stuff in his 2 innings of work striking out 3 batters. Fastball topped out at 79 and was located well. Showed good feel to spin it with his curve as he was able to locate it and drop it in for strikes. He also lined a base hit back up the middle in his first ab. 

 

Bryce Smith (2025 SS, Weatherford, TX) made an extremely impressive play out at short ranging up the middle to his left. He fielded the ball cleanly, got up quickly, and fired to first on time. Smith also threw off the bump lefty and righty. He got up to 79 as a righty and was able to consistently drop in a curve for strikes.   

 

Charlie Wilson (2026 1B, Dallas, TX) collected a couple of barrels in his second game of the day and then proceeded to show his wheels by stealing second. 

 

3-White

 

Mitchell Deans (2025 RHP, Murphy, TX) found a loud barrel on the day lining a base hit back up the middle. He also got up to 80 on the mound and flashed a breaking ball with good shape.

1-Navy

 

Mekhi Brewer (2024, OF, Hobbs, NM) sat back on the ball and drove it down the line to deep left for a double in his first ab. Has a big lefty build with a smooth swing. There is feel to launch the ball and some power potential on display. He is definitely able to drive the ball the other way with authority. He also pitched 2 innings while striking out 3 batters. Fastball had some natural arm side run and sat in the low 80s. Gets good extension down the mound. Also showed some feel to spin it as well with a sharp breaking ball. 

 

Jack Fuller (2025, LHP, Southlake, TX) turned on a ball up and in for a double towards the left-center field gap showing good ability to get the barrel out in front and connect with it. 

 

Jayden Martinez (2024, 3B, Dallas, TX) smoked a ball to deep left for a double one hopping the wall. Has a powerful righty swing with feel to launch. The ball really jumped off his bat as it kept on carrying and carrying. He also made an incredible diving catch at 3rd on a screaming line drive to his left. 

 

Xorian Robinson (2025, SS, El Dorado, AR) made a few nice plays out at short showing off some impressive range especially to his backhand side. Soft hands with quick transfers on full display. Plenty of time to develop arm strength. 

 

Dylan Duran (2026 3B, Aledo, TX)had a multi-hit game in his first game spraying the ball to all fields. 

 

Austin Linhart (2023, RHP, Sugar Land, TX) struck out 5 batters over the course of 3 innings. He located his fastball well within the zone which sat in the low 80s on a very cold night. He mixed in a nice-looking curve that forced a ton of misses as well as called strikes. 

 

2-Royal

 

Charlie Wilson (2026, 1B, Dallas, TX) found the barrel as he ripped a liner over the center fielders head for a triple. He ran into one of the loudest barrels on the day. 

 

Nicholas Bilafer (2025, OF, Plano, TX) sat back on the ball and smashed it to the right field gap for deep fly ball double. 

 

Dyron Solomon (SOLO) Davis (2023, OF, Houston, TX) beat out 2 infield singles in his first game really showing off the wheels. He ran a 6.82 60 and was clocked in at 4.1 from home to first. Seems to be a tooled up player with speed being his number one tool. 

 

Reginald Samuel II (2025, 3B, Cedar Hill, TX) went 2 innings and showed a lot to like with his bigger frame. Strong looking pitcher who gets a lot out of his body ramping his fastball up to 85 with some run. He also flashed a late biting curve with good velocity and sharp break. 

 

Jarvis Buchanan Jr (2026, OF, Fort Worth, TX) made a couple of really nice diving plays out in left on a pair of sinking line drives. Gets good reads and jumps on the ball. He also collected a pair of base hits in his second game of action. 

 

 

3-White

 

Matthew Salinas (2023, 3B, Dallas, TX) goes 2 strong innings while striking out 4 batters. Fastball sat in the upper 70s and touched 81. Showed some feel to spin it as well with a sharp breaking curve. He was able to drop it in for strikes. 

 

Nathan Cook (2024, OF, Lewisville, TX) worked with a nice 2-pitch mix during his outing striking out 5 batters in 3 quick innings of work. He located well within the zone and buckled hitters on his curve that had more top to bottom shape.

Batting Practice Highlights

11/12/2022

Mekhi Brewer (2024 OF, Hobbs, NM) showed good leverage in his swing to the pull side. He does a nice job staying balanced with his lower half and creates some jump off barrel with more to tap into in his large frame.

Tate Elliott (2025 C, Midlothian, TX) showed a smooth path to his right-handed swing using the length in the frame well to get to extension out front. On the left side he shows more loft to the swing with similar bat speed to project on moving forward.

Braxton Robertson (2025 SS, Texarkana, AR) did a nice job controlling the barrel with the strong top hand. He gets the barrel to the ball at the bottom of the zone well and creates line drive contact up the middle and to the pull side.

Xorian Robinson (2025 SS, El Dorado, AR) showed quicker hands with a simple tight turn getting the barrel on plane early and creating nice extension though contact. He showed an ability to impact the ball hard on a line to the pull side.

Parker Asturi (2024 C, Lewisville, TX) creates good lift with his swing path routinely getting to contact out front. He uses his strong lower half well to help supply power to the barrel with more to come as he continues to grow and mature.

Dyron Solomon ( SOLO ) Davis (2023 OF, Houston, TX) showed an accurate barrel with some feel to spray the ball to all fields on a line. He does a nice job staying simple with the lower half and allowing the hands to control the barrel through the hitting zone.

Peyton Dryman (2025 C, Saginaw, TX) took a consistent round of batting practice showcasing a balanced approach with line drive contact. The swing and frame both project well moving forward with added strength as he continues to grow and mature.

Reginald Samuel II (2025 3B, Cedar Hill, TX) does a nice job getting his lower half involved has he gets to a wider base at his launching point. The bat path works through the zone with some loft helping to create back spin to the pull side.

Aiden Sanchez (2024 C, Fort Worth, TX) showed some of the better bat speed of the batting practice with consistent loud contact to the pull side. The foot is down on time and he does a nice job getting the bat head out front with flashes of power to the pull side.

Ashton Arredondo (2026 1B, Pearland, TX) is able to match plane well with his level right-handed swing driving balls hard on line. He creates good extension at the point of contact and is able to get the lower half involved hitting from a wider base.

Nick Hall (2024 OF, Fort Worth, TX) works short and quick to the ball with a compact bat path and tight turn with the upper half. The hands provide some thump at the point of contact showing his best when using the big part of the field.

Trenton Parker (2025 OF, Grand Prairie, TX) gets the bat head out quick with some flashes of pop to the pull side. The bat path is very direct to the ball with good extension after contact creating back spin and carry to the pull side gap.

Nathan Cook (2024 OF, Lewisville, TX) displayed some of the better strength of the day in his right-handed swing. He is able to get on plane early with a level bat path and drive baseballs with some authority on a line back up the middle.

Matthew Salinas (2023 3B, Dallas, TX) drove the ball to the wall with some consistency as eh uses his strong lower half and smooth bat path create leverage at contact. The ball jumps off the barrel with good timing and an approach that look transferable to game action.
