Mekhi Brewer (2024, OF, Hobbs, NM) sat back on the ball and drove it down the line to deep left for a double in his first ab. Has a big lefty build with a smooth swing. There is feel to launch the ball and some power potential on display. He is definitely able to drive the ball the other way with authority. He also pitched 2 innings while striking out 3 batters. Fastball had some natural arm side run and sat in the low 80s. Gets good extension down the mound. Also showed some feel to spin it as well with a sharp breaking ball.
Jack Fuller (2025, LHP, Southlake, TX) turned on a ball up and in for a double towards the left-center field gap showing good ability to get the barrel out in front and connect with it.
Jayden Martinez (2024, 3B, Dallas, TX) smoked a ball to deep left for a double one hopping the wall. Has a powerful righty swing with feel to launch. The ball really jumped off his bat as it kept on carrying and carrying. He also made an incredible diving catch at 3rd on a screaming line drive to his left.
Xorian Robinson (2025, SS, El Dorado, AR) made a few nice plays out at short showing off some impressive range especially to his backhand side. Soft hands with quick transfers on full display. Plenty of time to develop arm strength.
Dylan Duran (2026 3B, Aledo, TX)had a multi-hit game in his first game spraying the ball to all fields.
Austin Linhart (2023, RHP, Sugar Land, TX) struck out 5 batters over the course of 3 innings. He located his fastball well within the zone which sat in the low 80s on a very cold night. He mixed in a nice-looking curve that forced a ton of misses as well as called strikes.
2-Royal
Charlie Wilson (2026, 1B, Dallas, TX) found the barrel as he ripped a liner over the center fielders head for a triple. He ran into one of the loudest barrels on the day.
Nicholas Bilafer (2025, OF, Plano, TX) sat back on the ball and smashed it to the right field gap for deep fly ball double.
Dyron Solomon (SOLO) Davis (2023, OF, Houston, TX) beat out 2 infield singles in his first game really showing off the wheels. He ran a 6.82 60 and was clocked in at 4.1 from home to first. Seems to be a tooled up player with speed being his number one tool.
Reginald Samuel II (2025, 3B, Cedar Hill, TX) went 2 innings and showed a lot to like with his bigger frame. Strong looking pitcher who gets a lot out of his body ramping his fastball up to 85 with some run. He also flashed a late biting curve with good velocity and sharp break.
Jarvis Buchanan Jr (2026, OF, Fort Worth, TX) made a couple of really nice diving plays out in left on a pair of sinking line drives. Gets good reads and jumps on the ball. He also collected a pair of base hits in his second game of action.
3-White
Matthew Salinas (2023, 3B, Dallas, TX) goes 2 strong innings while striking out 4 batters. Fastball sat in the upper 70s and touched 81. Showed some feel to spin it as well with a sharp breaking curve. He was able to drop it in for strikes.
Nathan Cook (2024, OF, Lewisville, TX) worked with a nice 2-pitch mix during his outing striking out 5 batters in 3 quick innings of work. He located well within the zone and buckled hitters on his curve that had more top to bottom shape.
