Michael Smith (2023 OF, Pensacola, FL) was excellent at the plate turning in a three-hit performance (3-for-3) with a triple to the opposite field. With plus size and strength to his current build, Smith looks the part in the box, and uses his size to muscle hard hit contact to the gaps. A plus athlete, Smith has good speed on the bases, with large strides helping him coast around the bases. Tools also are present in the outfield as his speed helps him range to either side, and he has feel for the leather helping him make all plays. 

Rodney Mudd (2023 OF, Lilburn, GA) answered the call out of the bullpen and was impressive during his two innings of work. Rodney issued 49-pitches, filling the zone just over 50% of the time with his mix. Worked ahead of hitters with a fastball up to 80-mph with life up in the zone, and a curveball at 62-mph with 11/5 shape. Pitched with confidence and went right at hitters from the jump. 

5- Red

Jacori McGee (2023 MIF, Atlanta, GA) was able to get his club off on the right foot, earning the start and working two-innings, where he scattered two-hits while striking out four. Deployed clean mechanics on the mound, allowing him to throw his fastball, curveball, and changeup for strikes. Fastball sat in the upper 70's, high of 80-mph with arm-side-run. Off-speed garnered a lot of swing-and-miss later in the count, as his curveball took 11/5 shape, and his change featured developing sell. Rated as a Top 600 player in the class. McGee has a projectable build at 6-foot, 175-pounds.  

Bryce Hamilton (2023 OF, Marietta, GA) put together a very solid round of batting practice. He has a short, simple swing with good bat to ball skills. 

Jacori McGee (2023 MIF, Atlanta, GA) is a physical prospect with strength off the barrel. He hit the ball hard to all fields and showed advanced barrel control. 

Michael Smith (2023 OF, Pensacola, FL) found a lot of loud barrels in his round of batting practice. He's a big, physical player that has big pull-side power. 

Zain Smith (2023 C, Lafayette, GA) got extended early and often in the round, showing good impact to the pull-side. He has a short swing that finds the barrel often. 

Brent Sims (2023 RHP, Stockbridge, GA) hit the ball hard to the pull-side often in the round. Has quick hands and a whippy barrel through the zone that results in a lot of loud contact. 

Taiyo Watanabe (2023 C, Athens, GA) has a strong, physical frame and swings the bat with intent. He found the barrel often and showed solid bat speed. 

Bryce Hamilton (2023 OF, Marietta, GA) started the game out with a loud barrel in the first inning. Smoked a double into the right-center gap while cruising into second. High level type athlete that shows in all aspects of his game.

Patrick Deegan (2023 LHP, Marietta, GA) had a solid outing on the hill, making his start for the Red team. Smooth arm stroke from the southpaw proving to have feel for a three pitch mix. Fastball into the low-80's. Mixed in a breaking ball and killed the speed with the changeup. 

Zain Smith (2023 C, Lafayette, GA) was reliable behind the dish while also getting it done with the bat. Short, simple stroke driving the baseball on a line. Drove one up the middle for an rbi in one at-bat. Confident in the box while playing a premium defensive position. 

Nathaniel Kirkendoll (2023 RHP, Douglasville, GA) proved to have a lively arm on the bump. Fastball up to 84 mph with more left in the tank. Able to spin a big overhand breaking ball and changeup as well. Upside here present if he is to get the command under control. 

Julian Wright (2023 OF, Cartersville, GA) got the bat head out early and ripped one down the leftfield line for a double. Knocked in a run while doing so. 

Egan Lowery (2023 C, McCalla, AL) has been really impressive starting with his workout metrics from this morning. Quick arm on the hill with a fastball up to 85 mph. Also mixed in a low-70's breaking ball. Struck out five in two innings of work. 

Brent Sims (2023 RHP, Stockbridge, GA) squared up a middle-middle fastball and drove it on a line into the right-center gap. Busted it out the box and turned it into extra bases with a double.
