6/6/2021

Ronin McCraw (2026 SS, Magnolia, TX): McCraw continued a very good weekend, showing off that compact, on-plane lefthanded stroke and peppering another few liners, including a double up the gap. The balance, swing, barrel feel, and defensive actions all stand way out.

Cory Matthews (2027 RHP, Jacksonville, FL): Matthews picked up a couple base hits in this one, showing a whole-field approach with good plate coverage and developing strength.

Mark Macklin (2026 3B, Katy, TX): Macklin was an offensive force for the Green team, picking up a pair of hits as well as several stolen bases on the day, combining his hit tool and athleticism in a good way.

6/5/2021

Marco Longo (2026 SS, Spokane Valley, WA) turned on an inside pitch and roped a hard ground ball down the line that had enough steam to get all the way to the warning track for a triple in his first at bat today.  Longo has quick hands that he utilized to stay inside the ball and get the barrel through the zone on this trip.  These quick hands were on display in his last at bat also, as he drilled a line drive down the left field line for a stand up double.

Caleb Jett (2026 C, Crosby, TX) has a large frame that he utilized to drive a mistake by the pitcher deep into the left-center field gap in his first at bat.  He has present strength for his age, and will only continue to get stronger as he fills out his body by adding muscle.
