Andrew An (2023 3B, Irvine, CA) impressed with his barrel to ball skills matching plane well and staying through the baseball well through contact. His quick hands and efficient path help to create carry off the barrel.
Brody Connors (2024 SS, Newport Beach, CA) showed a lot of things to like at the plate with the ability to leverage the baseball and impact the ball from the opposite field gap to the pull side. He takes an aggressive approach to the plate looking to do damage with each swing.
Joey Cordola (2022 C, Saugus, CA) does a nice job transferring his weight into contact getting off his back side and using his legs well. His swing path has some present loft allowing him to get the ball in the air to all fields.
Scotty Pieper (2022 OF, Valencia, CA) showed good intent in his swing with quick hands regularly impacting the ball on the barrel. His pre-swing timing and rhythm allow him to get to a consistent launch point each time.
Kevin Rubio (2023 C, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) creates good separation pre-swing with his stride and load getting into his legs. He is able to create leverage on the baseball with a smooth bat path working on plane with the baseball.
JT (John) Fenton (2022 3B, Upland, CA) showcased a physical quick twitch swing. His bat path showed well working short and quick to the inside part of the ball with the strength in the hands to produce jump off the barrel.
Cristian Angulo (2022 OF, Thousand Palms, CA) displayed a long smooth stroke with good timing getting the barrel head out front consistently. His swing path provides some natural jump the pull side with good use of the lower half.
Carter Speights (2023 OF, Tustin, CA) showed a simple approach with a. narrow base getting to a consistent launching spot each time. His barrel tracked quick through the zone with strong hands providing carry off the barrel to all fields.
Jack Zerkel (2024 OF, Tustin, CA) does a nice job staying connected throughout his swing well keeping his hand a barrel inside the baseball. He is able to keep his chest behind the ball allowing him to drive off his back side and impact the ball middle to pull side.
Dylan Immel (2023 SS, El Segundo, CA) found the barrel routinely in his round with good timing to the swing. He is able to sync up the upper and lower half getting the most out of his swing with the lower half providing the power.
Troy Lewis (2023 C, Lancaster, CA) took an impressive round leveraging the baseball to the pull side consistently with plenty of intent. His swing path shows some present loft with a long finish helping to create back spin on the baseball.
Carlitos Nunez (2023 RHP, Simi Valley, CA) put together a solid round showing good barrel accuracy. His swing path is simple tracking short and direct to the baseball with good timing and rhythm consistently allowing the head to get out front at impact.
Cayden Tallman (2022 OF, Tustin, CA) displayed some of the better raw power of the day with the ball jumping off the barrel when squared up. The strength in his hands provides the punch as he worked middle to pull during the round.
Luis Fernandez (2021 C, Los Angeles, CA) had a very consistent round at the dish firing his lower half on time and generating a good combination of bat speed and whip to the barrel with lift to the middle of the field.
Vincent Rodriguez (2023 OF, Lakewood, CA) has good looseness to the swing as he works under control and gets the barrel out on time generating lofted contact consistently to the pull side.
Luke Viola (2023 2B, Chino, CA) has quickness in his hands that allow him to pull the barrel through on time and on plane with some flashes of long impact when squared in the air.
Joseph Barnhardt (2021 C, Stockton, CA) is a long and physical prospect has numerous components that posit good long-term power potential as whips the barrel through well and shows an ease in how hits the ball hard in the air to the middle of the field.
Chris Park (2021 RHP, Fullerton, CA) is listed as a primary arm with projectable components on the mound, but showed intrigue on the offensive end with a quick and strong swing alike to go with the fact that he torques hard through extension.
Brady Francisco (2023 C, Simi Valley, CA) has a very simple and repeatable approach with great looseness to the swing through impact that projects well as he adds more strength to the frame.
Ben Gneiser (2022 OF, Hermosa Beach, CA) is a long and athletic lefthanded hitting outfielder who generates excellent bat speed and leverages well to get the ball in the air with good strength behind it.
Matt Hernandez (2022 SS, Huntington Beach, CA) has some length to the swing, shows a good feel for the barrel and has flashes of good impact strength when he’s in sync and squares it.
Pedro Hernandez (2022 OF, Tustin, CA) took a very good round showing explosiveness to the impact point and enough strength behind the swing to send multiple balls out to the pull side.
Robert Linares (2022 3B, Downey, CA) took easily the best round of the day using a loose swing with great bat speed and leverage to get the ball in the air and finish with three shots off or over the pull side wall.
Nehemiah House (2021 1B, Walnut Creek, CA) showed upside on the offensive end with very good impact strength that plays well when he’s out front with the barrel and gets good lift.
Aiden Dillehay (2022 SS, San Diego, CA) is an athletic middle-infield prospect who shows good components to build on with added strength as he has quickness to his hands working short to the ball and an innate feel for the barrel.
Delshaun Lanier (2022 OF, Torrance, CA) is a very good athlete who showed a strong arm in the outfield and strength behind a longer swing at the dish that generated back-spun line drives to the middle and pull side gap.
Khalyl Perez (2024 C, San Diego, CA) has some physicality to his build already and uses it well in his swing as he fires on time and with good torque and extension through impact.
Christopher Landaas (2021 1B, San Clemente, CA) is a long and strong athlete who sets up well and shows an easy feel for getting the barrel head out and generating very strong on a line to the pull side.
