Green vs Red Game Highlights

Andrew Torres (2024 C, Pomona, CA) Finished the game on a strong note grabbing a single and a double in final two at-bats. Is aggressive early in counts, getting both hits on the first pitch. Hands are strong at the point of contact.
Jack Zerkel (2024 OF, Irvine, CA) Really controls the barrel well, putting the ball in play with consistency. Contact oriented approach collecting a pair of singles in the game.
Reggie Sharpe (2024 SS, Grosse Pointe Park, MI) Has some raw pop in the bat that should continue to improve with maturity. Drove a double deep into the gap late in the game for a double.
Amari Hackett (2025 RHP, Los Angelas, CA) Had two singles in the game. Shows a balanced approach in the box and keeps things simple. Works the count well and gets a good pitch to hit.
Evann Smith (2024 SS, Pacifica, CA) Very advanced and mature hitter for age. Looks to do damage in the box with a smooth swing and a naturally lifted plane. Finished the game with a perfect four-for-four day.
Trevor LaPres (2023 OF, Las Vegas, NV) Doubled late in the game. Mature frame with present strength throughout. Throws the barrel head out looking to generate strong contact out in front of the plate.
Orange vs Gold Game Highlights
11/3/2019
Jeremiah Vargas (2024 OF, San Diego, CA) Was good in the game at the plate with a pair of hits, showing an aggressive pull side approach at the plate, Clean path to the ball with the bat path and finding the barrel.
Ty Southisene (2024 SS, Henderson, NV) Very impressive on the mound from the right side. Worked two innings of relief and didn't allow a hit. Collected four strikeouts mainly with a good breaking ball down in the zone. Also hit well for the second straight day with a double. He also scored a run earlier in the game.
Jake Valenzuela (2024 SS, Riverside, CA) Came in relief as well with two no hit innings. Heavy fastball at 75 MPH with the chance to continue to increase velocity with maturity.
Connor Apeceche (2024 C, Las Vegas, NV) Worked hard to compete in the box in every at-bat. Won the battle early in the game with a double. Strong plate discipline as well as quick hands to the ball.
Orange vs Red
11/2/2019
Diego Villarreal (2024 OF, Chualar, CA) Reached base twice in the game with a late single and later coming around to score. Can manipulate the barrel well and put the ball in play with some consistency.
Jacob Cuellar (2024 RHP, San Pedro, CA) Solid and quiet approach at the plate looking to put the ball in play and work the whole field. Ended the day with a loud double, later coming around to score.
Jason "JJ" Moran (2024 SS, Carlsbad, CA) Started and ended the game with a single, collecting the two in the game. Athletic frame with plenty of room to continue to add. Was also showing aggressive tendencies looking to do damage early.
Chandler Henry (2024 RHP, Alpine, CA) Solid performance on the mound. Very projectable righthander with two good pitches. Mixes well and works off the fastball in the upper 70's with a sharp breaker that had hitters fooled all night.
Gold vs Green Game Highlights
11/2/2019
Noah Andersen (2024 RHP, Glendale, AZ) W as a very solid two way player in the game working a couple of hits in four at-bats. Aggressive at the plate with a strong swing driving the ball deep to the gap with a triple and later a single. Filled the zone on the mound well with the fastball sitting 77-80 MPH in the first couple of innings.

Matthew Baur (2024 OF, Concord, CA) Showed a solid opposite field approach in first at-bat driving the ball deep for an easy triple. Stays on the ball well with quick hands through the zone.
Donald Sho Garcia (2024 SS, Newport Beach, CA) Drove in a run with a double showing a simple load and bat path. Naturally lifted plane through the zone looking to generate lift off the barrel.
Andrew Torres (2024 C, Pomona, CA) Stays balanced well with a compact swing. Had both a single and a double in the game with quick hands looking to attack the ball early.
Joseph Norris (2023 RHP, Los Angeles, CA) Had three doubles in the game showing a strong approach and the ability to battle for pitch. Consistently squared the ball up with a simple hand path.
Ty Southisene (2024 SS, Henderson, NV) Was very good in the game with a single and a triple. Knowledge of hitting at the plate is present with the skills to drive the ball to all fields.
Tate Southisene (2025 2B, Henderson, NV) Doubled early in the game showing some raw power when squaring the ball up. Pulled a ball into the corner and showed off some speed to get in with two bags.
Batting Practice Highlights
11/2/2019
Brayden Metcalf (2024 SS, Gardner, KS) The Kansas native displayed good feel for the barrel with a naturally leveraged plane through extension. Metcalf consistently produced sharp contact to the middle of the field between the gaps.
Ty Southisene (2024 SS, Henderson, NV) Swung with intent and displayed a fluid swing path with present bat speed through extension. Utilized a gap to gap approach and consistently stayed behind the baseball at contact.
Wyatt Arellano (2024 C, Corona, CA) Displayed good carry off the barrel to the middle of the field with present strength at contact. Released the barrel head out front effectively that generated solid whip through the zone.
Tyler Covington (2024 OF, Aliso Viejo, CA) The 2024 outfielder showed good barrel control throughout the zone with solid hand speed to contact. Consistently struck the baseball with intent and showed the ability to work to all fields.
Sean Yamaguchi (2024 2B, Aiea, HI) The Hawaii native created good linear shift into contact with lower half that generated solid strength at contact. Consistently threw the barrel head to contact with intent generating good carry to pull side when squared.
Anthony Lira (2024 3B, Citrus Heights, CA) Displayed a fluid, repeatable swing plane with present bat speed. Stays behind the baseball well at contact with the ability to drive the ball to the gaps.
Amari Hackett (2025 RHP, Los Angelas, CA) The primary pitcher also impressed at the plate as well utilizing and clean, line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed good hand quickness through the zone that allowed for all fields contact.
Evann Smith (2024 SS, Pacifica, CA) Smith displayed a balance approach with good feel for the barrel to all parts of the zone. Consistently repeated a line drive barrel working to all fields.
Drake Piersall (2024 3B, Riverton, UT) The 2024 grad showed consistently created loud contact off the barrel to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Piersall utilizes and naturally lifted barrel plane that generated tight back spin off the barrel.
