Jonathan Barcena (2020 3B, Hialeah, FL) hit a double in his second at bat of the game that one-hopped the wall displaying leverage to pull-side. He showed some strength and power potential.

Jason L'Etoile (2021 1B, Lake Worth, FL) only allowed 1 hit in 2 scoreless innings of work including 3 strikeouts. His 81mph fastball flashes cutting action to it and is able to work both sides of the plate with it. He also mixes in an 11/5 curveball with sharpness to it.

Jan Rodriguez (2020 2B, Toa Baja, PR) hit a hard oppo double to right center field and displayed a mature approach in the box. He can spray the ball to all fields and is an all around athletic player.

Dillon Moquin (2023 OF, Coral Springs, FL) sat back on a curveball and drove it down the left field line for an oppo double. He has an advanced approach and can really explode.

Dominic Ganley (2020 LHP, Cutler Bay, FL) struck out 5 batters in 4 innings on the bump and displayed a strong lower half. He pounded the zone with strikes including an 80mph fastball that is on a steep plane and a 12/6 breaking ball.

William Cruz (2021 RHP, Homestead, FL) was 2 for 3 at the plate today with 2 singles. He made consistent contact and showed some strength. He also has calm hands and a smooth load.

Chris Duprey (2022 OF, Wellington, FL) crushed a double in his first at bat of the game that 2 hopped the fence. He displayed true power potential and is a great runner. He also made an outstanding diving catch in center.

Michael Cabrera (2020 RHP, Miami, FL) finished the day 2 for 2 with 2 singles and displayed the ability to hit to all fields. He made consistent contact and showed some strength.

Anthony “AJ” Hunerberg (2022 SS, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) made consistent hard contact going 2 for 3 with a single and double. He has quick hands to help his pull-side approach.

Alexander Manent (2021 SS, Orlando, FL) was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and made consistent hard contact. He has a fluid, level swing through the zone with great bat speed.

Justin Aron (2023 OF, Delray Beach, FL) smoked a double down the left field line in his first at bat of the game. He has an aggressive swing and gets good extension.

Bobby Fasulo (2022 OF, Jupiter, FL) showed lots of pop on his double to right center field. He has a short, compact swing and is a very athletic player.

Duval Rodriguez (2020 MIF, Miami, FL) threw 2 scoreless innings on the mound with lots of life to his 82mph fastball. He filled the zone with strikes and works high tempo. He has repeatable mechanics and flashed a hard biting curveball with 11/5 shape.

Ian Anderson (2021 OF, Lakeland, FL) also threw 2 scoreless innings in the game showcasing his smooth and fluid delivery. He has a quick, whippy arm and showed some arm side run to his 77mph fastball.



Red vs Orange Game Highlights

Blake Bryden (2022 3B, Orlando, FL) made consistent hard contact all game going 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. He has true power potential to the pull-side. 

Eli Kapkowski (2022 C, St Petersburg, FL) was 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 singles and an RBI. He showed the ability to hit to all fields with a smooth, level swing.

Derek Espinoza (2022 RHP, Woodbine, GA) crushed a double in his second at bat of the game getting the barrel out and making loud contact. He has quick hands and a fluid swing through the zone.

Jefry Armando Pena Coss (2020 OF, Sunrise, FL) finished the game 2 for 2 with 2 singles and an RBI.  He made consistent contact with a low effort swing. He is also very athletic and a great runner.

Diego Resto (2020 OF, Gurabo, PR) hit a hard double down the left field line in his second at bat of the game. He has an aggressive swing, lots of strength, and showed power potential.

Anthony Schatz (2023 LHP, Winter Haven, FL) struck out 6 in 3 hitters with a 78mph fastball that he kept down in the zone and had some arm side run. He also has an effective curveball with tight spin and good break to it.

Carlos Herrera (2020 MIF, Miami, FL) is an athletic RHP with a live arm and strong frame, He commanded his 84mph fastball well and worked both sides of the plate. His curveball has tight break that received a lot of swing and misses. 

Green vs Gold Game Highlights

Aedan Anderson (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) had a great day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He has a simple approach and makes consistent contact. He also has quick hands and great bat speed.

Michael Aponte (2021 OF, San Juan, PR) has smooth, fluid swing through the zone with great plate coverage. He started off the game with a hard hit single and also showed great speed on the base paths.

Jean Carlos Diaz (2020 C, San Juan, PR) has an explosive swing and used it to crush a loud double in his first at bat. He has present elevation in his swing with power potential.

Lucas Lorenzo (2020 SS, Tallahassee, FL) was up to 84mph on the mound today in his 2 innings of work. His fastball has lots of late life and was able to strike out 5 hitters. He also mixed in an effective 70mph curveball with 11/5 break.

Landon Kiefer (2021 SS, Bradenton, FL) showed off his wheels on a hard hit triple to left in his second at bat. He gets good extension and consistently found the barrel.

Cody Krantz (2022 C, Haines City, FL) smoked a line drive single to left with a short, compact swing. He is very calm in the box with a mature presence.

JT Quinn (2022 RHP, Tampa, FL) struck out 4 batters in 3 innings of work and touched 83mph. He pounded the strike zone with clean, repeatable mechanics. His 68mph CB is very deceptive and a great out pitch.

Azais Garza (2022 OF, Conroe, TX) had a very good day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He has a quick bat with present elevation in his swing. He made consistent contact and showed a mature approach at the plate. He can hit to all fields

Cody Krantz (2022 C, Haines City, FL) played well offensively and defensively as he showed quick bat speed and turned the barrel over well to smoke a hard hit ball down the line for a triple. 

Airon Reyes (2021 3B, Port St Lucie, FL) took one of the louder rounds of BP on the day and showed off his violent, impressive bat speed in game with a loud single to the pull side.

Landon Kiefer (2021 SS, Bradenton, FL) has a fluid and easy delivery with a quick arm that resulted in a fastball topping out at 80mph. He has good feel for spin and projects well moving forward.

Reegan Jackowiak (2020 RHP, Venice, FL) showed off his power stuff on the mound by striking out 5 batters in 3 hitless innings. He pounded the strike zone and spotted up his fastball well at the knees.

Holden Wade (2021 LHP, Odessa, FL) is another projectable LHP who struck out 8 batters over 3 innings. He topped out at 81mph with some depth to his curveball and deception aided his fastball quality.

Christopher Alvarez (2022 3B, Miami, FL) had a good day at the plate going 2 for 2 with 2 singles, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored. He made hard consistent contact and displayed good instincts on the bases. 

Michael Aponte (2021 OF, San Juan, PR) was 2 for 3 on the day with 2 singles, 2 RBI, a stolen base, and run scored. He showed good barrel skills at the plate making consistent hard contact and using all fields.

Aedan Anderson (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) is your prototypical leadoff prospect with a short, quick swing and a feel for getting on the bases. He was 2 for 3 with 2 singles making consistent contact.

Jackson Hugus (2021 C, Wellington, FL)  had a great day going 2 for 3 with a single, double, run scored, and 3 stolen bases. He displayed solid contact skills by driving the ball consistently to hint at future power potential. Also showed good instincts on the bases.

Omar Sanchez (2020 LHP, Juncos, PR) is a physical LHP who showed some deception on a fastbal that topped out at 84mph with running life. He mixed in a tight breaking ball and struck out 6 of the 9 hitters he faced in 3 innings.

Tomas Rodriguez (2020 LHP, Stuart, FL) is an athletic LHP who creates downhill plane and swing and miss on his fastball that topped out at 80mph. He throws 3 pitches for strikes and projects to throw harder given the arm speed.

Florida Prospect BP Highlights

8/10/2019

Melvyn Alvarez (2021 OF, Guayama, PR) showed a simple stroke from the right side with loose and quick hands. He's balanced and controlled in the box while creating a good amount of line drive contact up the middle and to all fields with intent. 

Max McCreary (2021 C, Denver, NC) works to the pull side of the field well with some barrel whip and gets his hands through nicely. He creates some leverage through contact with bat speed and significant juice to the pull side. 

Harrison Povey (2021 RHP, Indian Rocks Beach, FL) is a long, lanky lefthanded hitter that creates a ton of leverage to the pull side due to his size. He whips the barrel with good hand quickness and impact strength through his wrists. 

Sebastian Martinez (2020 C, Orlando, FL) showed some of the best bat speed of the day with a positive launch angle and lots of impact when squared. He's comfortable in the box with a professional approach and created a ton of well-struck balls to the pull side and middle of the field. 

Nathaniel Martinez (2020 C, Orlando, FL) worked consistently to the pull side and swings hard with strength through contact. He gets his hips torqued well and fires on time to create backspin and carry to the pull side. 

Jean Carlos Diaz (2020 C, San Juan, PR) has a strong approach from the right side with a number of well struck balls in the air to the pull side. The bat speed is good and he gets the barrel head out nicely while leveraging the stroke to pull. 

Dillon Moquin (2023 OF, Coral Springs, FL) generates some explosiveness from the left side as the hands work very well through the stroke and allow him to get on plane on time. There is smoothness to the path and projects for big power at maturity as he develops. 

Jason L'Etoile (2021 1B, Lake Worth, FL) is a big, physical lefthanded hitter with good bat speed, strength, and impact at contact. He gets extended well through contact with a flatter bat path and really drives the ball well to the pull side. 

Zach Lester (2023 SS, Valrico, FL) has a clean swing path that projects nicely as he continues to mature and fill out. He gets the barrel out nicely and worked on a line to all fields with consistency and a clean line drive approach. 

Keahi Louderback (2022 3B, Clermont, FL) turns the barrel over nicely with some controlled violence and barrel whip throughout the stroke. He gets extended with loose hands and projects for more power as he continues to fill out. 

Airon Reyes (2021 3B, Port St Lucie, FL) swings with intent and creates a good amount of whippy bat speed and violence throughout. There's good impact with feel for the pull side and hit some long shots to the deepest parts of the ballpark, and out of it, during his round. 

JP Herrholz (2020 1B, Miami, FL) turns into contact well with some strength to the pull side. He creates good impact to the pull side and turned in a fairly consistent round with a good amount of peppered line drives to the pull side. 

Matt Leary (2020 OF, Eustis, FL) showed really quick hands throughout swing and generated some whippiness to the overall stroke. The round showed some inconsistencies but there's good strength to pull with looseness throughout and really projects nicely. 

Duval Rodriguez (2020 MIF, Miami, FL) showed fluidity to his swing path with quick hands and whippiness throughout. The swing projects nicely and he peppered the middle of the field and pull side of the field with well-struck line drives throughout the round. 

Chris Duprey (2022 OF, Wellington, FL) creates some violence in is swing with a flatter barrel path while turning on the ball well. There's projection throughout the swing with some young bat speed and good comfort in the batter's box. 

Carlos Herrera (2020 MIF, Miami, FL) is a stronger prospect with good bat speed and creates some backspin off contact. Herrera gets his hips moving through contact and creates impact when squared. 

Juan Jesus Leandro (2022 SS, Coral Gables, FL) has a smooth barrel path with a compact and quick stroke while turning the barrel over nicely through extension. He works to the pull side and middle of field with looseness to his hands and further power to be unlocked. 

Edwin Joel Ortiz (2021 2B, Guayama, PR) rocks into his swing with a shorter swing path that shows some strength at the point of extension. Ortiz shows a line drive swing plane with some strength to the pull side and turned in a fairly consistent round. 

Santiago Carriles-Alvarado (2023 C, Miami, FL) swings the barrel hard and shows good quickness to his hands with a projectable swing plane. He maintains the barrel consistently with some feel for driving with the lower half and working toward the middle of the field. 

Fernando Hernandez (2022 C, Orlando, FL) torques his hips nicely through contact to create some drive and jump to the middle of the field. The swing plane is clean with some lift and he does a nice job at getting the barrel out in front with strength in his wrists. 

Alexander Manent (2021 SS, Orlando, FL) shows good present bat speed with a balanced stance and a simple trigger into the stroke. There's good launch in his hands with strong wrists and some tools to project upon moving forward. 

Ben Maskin (2020 1B, Tampa, FL) is a big, physical righthanded hitter who creates natural leverage through extension out in front. There's potential for big power as he launched a home run to the pull side and has the bat speed and strength to project for power.

Yamner Agosto (2021 OF, Orlando, FL) had a great day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He battled in every at bat including a line drive single to opposite field and a hard line drive to center. He has a smooth, fluid swing and can hit to all fields.

Grant Trautweiler (2020 LHP, Bradenton, FL) sat 79-84 mph in 3 innings of work on the mound. His fastball has a lot of arm side run and spots it up well to both sides of the plate. He got lots of swing and miss and mixed his pitches well including his 71mph curveball.

Angel Escudero (2020 RHP, Toa Alta Puerto Rico, PR) struck out 5 and topped out at 84mph on the bump today. He has a quick arm and deceptive delivery. He mixed in a very effective 67 mph curveball that has late break.

Isaias Solano (2022 3B, Hialeah, FL) had a deep opposite field double in the game showing the ability to elevate the ball with power potential. 

Chris Duprey (2022 OF, Wellington, FL) stood out defensively in CF showing us his athletic ability making a highlight reel play on the ball. At the plate, he also consistently barrels the ball up.

Parker Pre-Genzer (2020 LHP, Fort Myers, FL) struck out 6 hitters in 3 innings of work while sitting 75-79 topping out at 80mph. He has smooth, repeatable mechanics with a balanced delivery.

Andrew Hunt (2022 RHP, Tampa, FL) was up to 83mph in 3 innings on the mound. His fastball has some cut to it and used it to strike out 3 batters. He also mixed in an 11/5 curveball at 71mph with loose spin and late bite.

Santiago Carriles-Alvarado (2023 C, Miami, FL) had a good game at the plate making consistent contact with a line drive swing plane going 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He also showed soft hands defensively.

Nathan Brewton (2020 RHP, Pensacola, FL) had a good outing on the mound punching out 5 of the 10 hitters he faced. He showcased his loose arm and deceptive arm action with a 82mph FB that has some late sink. 

Jefry Armando Pena Coss (2020 OF, Sunrise, FL) had a solid game at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 singles and showed good feel with the barrel.
