Payton Boines (2022 SS, Atlanta, GA) Boines drove a ball on a line in his first at bat for a single to left field. He did a nice job adjusting his hand path to the ball to get the barrel there on time and out front.

McCollum Mansfield (2022 3B, Birmingham, AL) Mansfield got a a fastball on the inner half and ripped it down the left field line ro an RBI double. He does a nice job keeping the barrel in the zone a long time with good intent to the swing. 

Marcus Locklear (2022 RHP, Hoover, AL) Locklear had a good day at the plate with a couple good at bats the more impressive of the two coming on a triple down the left field line. He displayed good barrel control and the ability to impact the ball to all fields with his three at bats today.

Ozzie Pratt (2021 SS, Oxford, MS) Pratt a BYU commit hopped on the mound and ran his fastball up to 86 mph, He worked a quick clean inning locating his fastball to both sides of the plate and striking out two with no walks. 

Caden Rogers (2022 OF, Atlanta, GA) Rogers showed great barrel accuracy on day two of the showcase with three hits. His lefthanded swing is simple and short to the ball with the ability to take the ball to all fields. Once on the bases he is aggressive and looks to swipe bags.

PJ Mineo (2023 OF, Nolensville, TN) doubled in the first game for the White team today. Mineo showed off a level swing plane with an aggressive approach at the plate. 

Brendan Som (2022 2B, Skokie, IL) had a good showing defensively this afternoon. Som showed good lateral agility to the hole and has an accurate arm. 

Austin Bolding (2023 SS, Knoxville, TN) singled in his first at bat of the day today. Bolding showed a sound approach at the plate with a smooth swing.

Ethan Miller (2022 C, Tallahassee, FL) had a good showing at the plate today. Miller showed a line drive swing plane with bat speed and squared the ball up both times he came to the plate. 

Von Smeltzer (2021 RHP, Parkland, FL) singled in the game this afternoon. Smeltzer showed a level swing plane with bat speed. On the mound Smeltzer topped out at 80mph on his fastball mixing in his slider at 66mph. Smeltzer has a deceptive delivery pitching from a side arm slot and showed good control of his off-speed pitches. 

Merik Carter (2022 2B, Christiana, TN) had a good showing at the plate today. Carter showed a level swing plane with a confident approach at the plate and has bat speed. 

Joshua Gunther (2023 RHP, Fairhope, AL) doubled in his first at bat of the game today. Gunther has pop in his bat with bat speed.

Harlin Hovater (2024 C/RHP, Hernando, MS) topped out at 77mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 64mph and his changeup at 68mph. Horvater did a good job getting ahead early in the count and pitches with good tempo on the mound. At the plate Hovater collected 2 singles on the day. Horavter does a good job of letting the ball travel and hits the ball to all fields. 

Merik Carter (2022 2B, Christiana, TN) sat 79-81mph with his fastball and had his slider at 70mph. Carter has a deceptive arm slot with good action to his slider. 

Payton Sanders (2022 RHP, Cunningham, TN) doubled in his first at bat of the day today. Sanders showed good pop at the plate with bat speed and has a level swing. 

Aidan Fennema (2023 C/RHP, Grand Rapids, MI) mixed in all 3 of his pitches for strikes consistently today. Fennema had his fastball topping out at 76mph with his curveball at 64mph and a changeup at 68mph.

Cullen Clebert (2021 C, Baton Rouge, LA) has a strong 5-11/205 build and an aggressive right-handed swing that can get the ball to jump hard gap to gap.  He really gets curled and loaded well on his backside and explodes into contact with a big lower half shift into contact.

Colton Hegwood (2021 MIF, Brandon, MS) had a polished stroke from the left side of the plate, with consistent timing and barrel accuracy.  He has loose hands and a fluid swing and will continue to improve as he gets stronger.

Connor Martin (2022 SS, Helena, AL) isn't especially big at 5-10/175 but had some of the best bat speed of the event.  The left-handed hitter fires his hands hard and gets plenty of pull carry to the ball.

Paxton Ponder (2023 SS, Cullman, AL) has hitter's hands that create some present bat speed and a well timed and accurate barrel.  More lower half use and continued physical maturity from the 5-11/155 sophomore will keep improving his already strong bat speed.

Carson Schmelzer (2024 1B, Oxford, MS) stands out for his 6-1/180 build and his raw bat speed from the right side.  He's going to develop some serious power with continued refinement to his swing and additional strength as he can already drive the ball with back spin and carry.

Jake Henry Williams (2021 OF, Jonesboro, AR) is a seriously strong young man at a chiseled 6-1/203 and the ball comes off his bat with a different sound.  He has a very simple and repeatable swing from the right side that is going to guarantee lots of hard barrels moving forward.

Marcus Locklear (2022 RHP, Hoover, AL) is a primary pitcher from nearby Hoover High School but he's a loose, quick twitch athlete with a very projectable build and plenty of whippy present bat speed.

Joshua Gunther (2023 RHP, Fairhope, AL) is another primary right handed pitcher with a chance to hit.  He's a solid 5-11/186 athlete with present strength for his age and the ability to make the ball jump hard, especially when he stays back and lets the ball travel.

PJ Mineo (2023 OF, Nolensville, TN) has plenty of time to grow from his present 5-9/140 build but he has real bat speed right now, with quick hands to start his swing and very good use of his lower half to help drive that bat speed.

Merik Carter (2022 2B, Christiana, TN) has a young and projectable 6-0/160 build that makes him appear younger and a loose and easy swing with very good extension through the ball.  He was very consistent in his timing and drove the right centerfield gap often.

Harlin Hovater (2024 C, Hernando, MS) is young left-handed hitting catcher with a chance to hit.  He has a nice present 5-11/172 build that will fill out well and a loose swing with natural lift and good present bat speed.

Olin Ward (2023 3B, Saraland, AL) has an impressive 6-2/190 build and very good raw bat speed and power potential for a sophomore.  A right-handed hitter, Ward is the son of former big league outfielder and hitting coach Turner Ward.

Austin Bolding (2023 SS, Knoxville, TN) has a nice young athletic body at 6-0/165 and a simple and strong swing approach that he repeats well.  The ball came off his barrel hard, especially when he was pulling the ball.

Lucas Greer (2022 RHP, Little Rock, AR) Utilized lower half well while showing a very quick arm through extension. Fastball jumped out of hand very well generating very heavy actions through the zone in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 89 mph. Also flashed good feel for breaking ball that generated late depth in the low 70's. Greer worked three scoreless innings while striking out four batters.

Grainger West (2022 RHP, Vestavia, AL) Showed a projectable frame on the mound with a loose arm action through extension. Fastball flashed solid run with some sink to the bottom of the zone in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph. 

Hayden Dunham (2022 OF, Lexington, KY) Utilized a quicker paced tempo on the mound with good feel for each edge of the plate. Generated good downward plane with fastball in the low 80's, topped at 83 mph.

Aidan Karns (2022 RHP, Cunningham, TN) 2 for 2 in the game including a hard hit line drive to left filed.

Connor Martin (2022 SS, Helena, AL) SS showcased some power and bat speed in game with a barreled up triple. Moved well around the bases very athletic frame. 

Shannon Martin (2022 MIF, New Orleans, LA) Athletic in the box showed a smooth fluid stroke to drive a ball to the opposite field for a triple.

Dalton Gray (2022 RHP, Ft Payne, AL) Started the game for the Red team and had strong start on the mound throwing 3 innings striking out 5.

Marcus Locklear (2022 RHP, Hoover, AL) Marcus took the mound first for his team the local from Hoover ran his fastball up to 86. Showed composure and feel had great command over his pitches.

Andrew Clements (2022 1B, Greenville, IN) Displayed good strength at the plate with a naturally leveraged barrel plane. Doubled in his first at bat of the game and showed good speed as a first baseman.

Joshua Gunther (2023 RHP, Fairhope, AL) Used lower half well while driving to the plate and showed a loose, repeatable arm action. Fastball jumped out of hand creating some heavy sink in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 mph. Also flashed good depth with a breaking ball in the low 70's. Gunther worked three scoreless inning while striking out six batters.

Olin Ward (2023 3B, Saraland, AL) Utilized a clean, repeatable line drive barrel plane with a high contact approach. Consistently barreled the baseball picking up two base hits in game action.

Davis Wright (2024 C, Marietta, GA) Showed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone with good speed on the bases. Tripled sharply in his first at-bat of the game and later scored.

Caleb Adams (2022 1B, Cordova, TN) singled in his last two at bats of the day today. Adams showed a sound approach at the plate with the ability to hit the ball where it's pitched. 

Aidan Fennema (2023 C, Grand Rapids, MI) doubled in his last at bat of the day today. Fennema has a solid build with pop in his bat squaring the ball up in his last at bat. 

Caden Mason (2023 C, Warrior, AL) doubled in his last at bat of the day today. Mason showed bat at speed at the plate with a line drive swing plane.

Payton Sanders (2022 RHP, Cunningham, TN) topped out at 86mph on his fastball today mixing in his curveball at 73mph and his slider at 76mph. Sanders has a live arm with a heavy breaking ball and locates to both sides of the plate. 

Merik Carter (2022 2B, Christiana, TN) showed good bat speed at the plate lacing a single to center field. In the field Carter showed a strong accurate arm.
