John Saffold (2022 2B, Birmingham, AL) proved he could find the barrel today during batting practice as he sprayed the baseball on a line to all fields. He utilized quick hands and a linear swing path as he squared up the baseball consistently.
Wesley Miller (2022 1B, Anniston, AL) generated some easy pop out of his large, physical build. He lifted the baseball with ease to the pull-side while also proving he could drive it on a line the other day. Created some loud wood when he squared the baseball up.
Brandon Edwards (2021 OF, Madison, MS) created some of the loudest contact from the round today as he put his physically strong build to use. Really had feel for pull-side pop as he drove it deep with ease.
Aiden Hosford (2022 3B, Rocky Face, GA) was able to consistently backspin the baseball as he drove it deep into the gaps. Looked to pull the baseball and drove it with ease when he got extended. Consistently found the barrel on the baseball.
Jeremiah Newman (2022 1B, Biloxi, MS) flashed easy power in the box as he threw hands at the baseball and was able to lift it deep to the pull-side. Was also able to simplify and drive it the other way.
Dominick Scalese (2023 SS, Peachtree Corners, GA) impacted the baseball well today as he was able to drive it deep to the pull-side with ease. He backspun the baseball and created some of the loudest contact of the day.
Gabriel Young (2023 LHP, Mountain Brook, AL) hammered baseballs during his round as he drove it off the pull-side wall multiple times during his round. Short and simple type cut as he proved to be athletic in the swing.
Walker Allen (2023 SS, Birmingham, AL) flashed a fundamentally sound swing as he attacked the baseball out front. He drove it to all fields and swung it with confidence.
Buddy Micheu (2022 3B, Kenner, LA) took some big hacks at the dish as he ran into the baseball consistently. He flashed big time pull-side pop as he launched fly-balls deep.
Clay Patton (2022 SS, Westfield, IN) threw hands at the baseball as he found the barrel with every cut he took. He utilized a linear swing path while he proved he could drive it to all fields.
William Burgreen (2022 SS, Decatur, AL) had a solid round as the switch hitter proved to have some talent from both sides of the dish. He generated fluid bat whip from the right-side as he mashed baseballs, creating pull-side power too. He also sprayed it on a line from the left-side.
Cayden Arnold (2024 1B, Covington, LA) utilized a big, strong frame as he leveraged the baseball and drove it with ease. Proved he could back spin the baseball and drove it deep to the pull-side.
Aidan Bee (2023 1B, Clanton, AL) flashed a short to it, long through it type swing as me squared the baseball up throughout his round. Fired his hips and drove the baseball deep to the pull-side showing strong hands during his round.
James Woody (2023 3B, Ridgeland, MS) was athletic in his round as he generated some bat whip through the zone. Proved to have some gap to gap pop as he drove it around the park.
Jack Millin (2023 C, McAllen, TX) utilized a short, simple cut as he found the barrel with every cut he took during his round. He also proved to have some juice to the middle of the field as he drove it gap to gap.
Ty Mancha (2022 C, Albuquerque, NM) took one of the louder rounds of the day as he proved he could leverage and drive the baseball deep. He flashed big tim pull-side pop as he drove the baseball off the warning track with ease during his round.
Charlie Siegel (2022 3B, Dallas, GA) carried athleticism into the swing as he threw hands at the baseball and was able to impact it out front. He looked to spray the baseball to the middle of the field and was successful in doing so.
Cale Latimer (2023 RHP, Bossier City, LA) generated big time bat speed through the zone as he put his physical strength to good use. When he got extended, he created some of the loudest contact of the day.
Will Beckham (2021 C, Bainbridge, GA) proved to have one of the smoothest cuts of the day as he simplified in the box, trusting his hands to delivery the barrel on the baseball. He drove the baseball to all fields and looked confident while doing so.
Rock Holland (2022 OF, Panama City Beach, FL) utilized strong hands as he drove the baseball on a line. He also proved he could backspin the baseball while drive it deep to the middle part of the field during his round.
Samuel Richardson (2024 3B, Senatobia, MS) generated easy pop in the bat as he showcased as one of the most physically strong bats in the event. He was able to leverage the baseball while driving it into each gap with ease.
Jacob Ambriz (2022 C, Corinth, TX) generated easy whip through the zone as he squared the baseball up consistently. He was also able to produce some pull-side power as he fired his hips and drove the baseball with intent.
Harrison Freeman (2022 1B, Jackson, TN) proved to be a legit power threat as he crushed baseballs deep today during his round. He was well balanced as he drove it gap to gap with ease.
Hill Gainey (2023 C, Gulfport, MS) had an up and down round today but proved to have some big time juice in the bat when he got extended. He flashed plus bat speed and when he was able to leverage the ball, he created some of the loudest contact from the day.
Baker Green (2022 C, Trussville, AL) did a great job of transferring weight well into his swing as he sprayed baseballs on a line during his round. He also proved he had power to the middle of the field as he back spun baseballs when needed.
Jordan Carter (2023 3B, Columbia, TN) utilized a linear swing path as he swung the bat looking to do damage with every cut. Flashed a pull-side approach and punished baseballs when he found the barrel while getting extended.
Graham Busbea (2023 RHP, Jackson, MS) took a solid round today as he drove the baseball back up the middle on a line. He took one of the most consistent rounds as he had ultimate confidence in the bat while being consistent.
Michael Glick (2022 C, Birmingham, AL) had one of the most fundamentally sound swings as he was balanced and under control throughout the entirety of his round. Proved he could drive it on a line to all fields and did a nice job of impacting the baseball.
Ryan Mimbs (2021 3B, East Dublin, GA) took the loudest round of batting practice today as he absolutely crushed baseballs. He flashed a natural uphill swing plane while driving the baseball deep to the pull-side. He homered once and banged a few off the wall, proving to be a legit power threat.
Patrick Engskov (2022 MIF, Little Rock, AR) utilized a short, simple cut to the baseball as he drove it on a line to all fields. He also proved to have some power as he drove it deep to the middle of the field and banged one off the pull-side wall as well.
Cole Horton (2022 SS, Panama City Beach, FL) flashed some juice in the bat as he drove it gap to gap. When he found the barrel, he drove it deep with ease. Took a solid round of batting practice showing he has feel for the barrel.
Christopher Watson (2022 1B, Ridgeland, MS) showed as one of the strongest prospects during workouts as he put that strength to good use during his round. He generated easy bat whip as looked to do damage with every cut. When he found the barrel, he created easy power to the pull-side and deep to center.
Michael Hopkinson (2021 SS, Mobile, AL) worked with a short, simple cut as he found barrels with every cut he took. Threw hands at the baseball as he drove it from line to line. Also proved he could drive it gap to gap during his round.
Zane Stokes (2022 MIF, Mobile, AL) punished baseballs during his round as he proved he could leverage the baseball and drive it on a line to all fields. He generated big time whip with the barrel through the zone and was consistent in impacting the baseball.
Luke Hill (2022 SS, Port Allen, LA) found barrels with every cut he took during his round, proving to have ultimate confidence in the box. He was also able to get the bat head out front and drive it deep to the pull-side.
Cameron Suto (2021 1B, McDonough, GA) took one of the best rounds of batting practice today as he generated big time pop in the bat. He was able to back spin the baseball and drove it deep to the pull-side. Great feel for the barrel was on full display as he drove it around the park.
