David Bishop (2021 SS, Marietta, GA) generated some easy pop off the barrel today as he squared up baseballs consistently during his round. He utilizes an uphill swing path and looks to do damage with every swing. He launched a few balls off the pull-side ball and drove one into the tree's during his round as well. Bishop took one of the loudest rounds of the day.
JonPaul Wheat (2021 OF, Marietta, GA) flashed a big leg lift and through all his weight into the swing. He proved to have some juice in the barrel to the middle of the field and also could simplify while spraying the baseball on a line to all fields. The strength in the hands is what stood out the most during his round.
Kaiden Ellis (2022 OF, Cumming, GA) swung the bat with authority from the left-side as he hammered the baseball on a line to all fields. Most impressively, he found the barrel with every cut will driving the baseball to all fields. The fluidity of the swing was easily visible to on-looker's as he took an impressive round of batting practice.
Nicholas Hong (2021 C, Lawrenceville, GA) impressed at the dish today as he hit some towering fly balls deep to the centerfield warning track. He was able to backspin the baseball with an uphill swing path. He took an all or nothing type approach during his round as he drove it with ease to the deep part of the park when he found the barrel.
Carter Bailey (2021 RHP, Snellville, GA) showcased strong hands as he threw them at the baseball creating some easy bat speed. He drove the baseball gap to gap on a line and shows some big-time pop in the bat. When he got extended, he had some real power showing.
Will Tippett (2022 SS, Stone Mountain, GA) proved to be able to drive the baseball to all parts of the park for power. He did a nice job of staying through the baseball and flashed big time pull-side pop as he drove a few off the leftfield wall. Very well rounded in the box as he proved it today in batting practice.
Barrett Eldridge (2022 C, Marietta, GA) took some huge hacks today at the plate during his round and generated some loud contact when he found the barrel. When he got extended, he showed some of the biggest power from the day. He pulled one way deep over the leftfield wall during his round and shows as a true power threat.
Jayden Talik (2022 OF, Lilburn, GA) flashed strong hands as he generated a quick bat through the zone. He sprayed the baseball line to line with ease. He also one hopped the wall multiple times to the pull-side.
Steele Jackson (2021 OF, Hamilton, Ind.) took one of the louder batting practices today as he did a nice job of throwing his weight into the baseball. He punished baseballs with consistency, especially to the pull-side. The overall power stood out the most as he showcased an all or nothing type swing.
