Jackson Hunley (2023 RHP, Sun Prairie, WI) showcased good bat speed and a middle of the field approach in batting practice, repeating a simple swing and flashing easy jump off the barrel. The freshman makes consistent, line-drive contact and projects for more power as the frame matures.
Kase Reierson (2022 3B, Rio, WI) had a very impressive round, impacting the ball to the pull-side with consistency and repeating the swing mechanics with ease. The sophomore swings with intent to drive the baseball and flashes easy jump off the barrel.
Dylan Sayles (2022 C, Rockton, IL) executes a gap-to-gap approach, making hard contact through the middle of the field and showcasing mature strength at the point of contact. Sayles has a mature approach from the right-side and finds the barrel with plenty of consistency.
James Vargas (2022 SS, Hartland, WI) flashed big-time juice to the pull-side in batting practice, doing well to get on time and get his hands extended out front. Just a sophomore Vargas flashes already present power and is extremely quick to the ball.
Joseph Wisniewski (2022 OF, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) repeats an easy swing from the left-side of the plate, showcasing some jump off the barrel and a naturally lifted barrel plane through the zone. The Michigan native flashes plenty of power potential in the strong frame.
Wilson Zuck (2021 OF, Appleton, WI) put together one of the louder rounds of the day, driving the ball through the middle of the field and making loud contact off the barrel. Zuck has a simple approach, showcasing easy bat speed and plenty of twitch and athleticism in the swing.
Drew Dickson (2022 RHP, Zionsville, IN) showcased big power potential from the right side on Sunday, driving the ball with consistency and swinging with intent to drive the baseball. Dickson has an all fields approach and repeats the swing well.
Braden Sayles (2021 OF, Rockton, IL) has a naturally lifted barrel plane from the left-side and impacts the ball with consistency to the pull-side. The junior repeats the swing really well and can really put on a show when on time and squaring up the baseball.
Frank Kelch (2022 C, Edwards, IL) showcased plenty of strength at the plate, hammering balls through what would be the pull-side gap. The sophomore has present bat speed with a direct path to contact, allowing for big-time jump off the barrel.
Dominik McVay (2022 OF, Mineral Point, WI) was short to the ball on Sunday, making hard contact back through the middle of the field. McVay has a short path to contact and does well to get on-plane early and drive the baseball.
Nick Nowak (2021 C, Waukesha, WI) showcased advanced bat-to-ball skills on Sunday, with present bat speed and a direct path to contact. Nowak finds the barrel with consistency and drive the ball in the air with his naturally lifted barrel plane.
Trevor Walczak (2021 3B, Sussex, WI) executes a middle of the field approach, showcasing the ability to impact the ball at contact with present bat speed through the zone. The Wisconsin native is direct to the ball and flashes good bat-to-ball skills.
Jacob Brown (2023 SS, Ann Arbor, MI) put together a very loud round of batting practice Sunday, driving balls with authority to the pull-side. The West Virginia commit looks to elevate to that side, showcasing plenty of strength in the hands and a naturally lifted barrel plane.
Haden Kriston (2022 1B, Northbrook, IL) is a right-handed hitter that put together a loud round for the Purple team, shifting well to contact and driving the ball back through the middle. Kriston can elevate at times and shows power potential as a sophomore first baseman.
Tanner Marsh (2021 OF, Mondovi, WI) repeats his swing and executes a middle of the field to opposite field approach. Marsh can impact the ball to and through the opposite gap while also showing the ability to get his hands extended and drive the inside-pitch as well.
Kolton Schaller (2022 MIF, Mount Horeb, WI) does a good job to get extended from the left-side, showcasing quick hands to the ball and present bat speed. Schaller can impact the ball to the pull-side with consistency and has a frame that projects for more power in the future.
