Garrett Lippold (2020 OF, Aurora, CO): Lippold really does a good job getting the ball into the air and when on time the ball jumps off his barrel, giving him solid present pop with projection for significantly more.
Justin Baldwin (2020 1B, Los Angeles, CA): Baldwin took a solid round, swinging the bat with intent to do damage and quality bat speed, producing consistent hard-struck shots to the pull side.
Kasey Campbell (2020 OF, Vista, CA): Campbell showed off consistently quality bat speed and strength, doing a good job of firing his hips into contact and roping ball after ball through the pull side.
Hunter Smith (2020 3B, Taylorsville, UT): Smith has a highly projectable frame as well as highly projectable hitting tools, showing the ability to work foul line to foul line with firm line drives.
Kevin Parada (2020 C, Pasadena, CA): Parada consistently shows both high-level offensive and defensive tools, and that didn't change today, as he showed consistently excellent bat speed and strength, driving the ball with authority into the air up both gaps.
Cade Westerlund (2021 C, Chandler, AZ): Westerlund showed some of the best pure strength of the day, one of just a few players to hit a bomb in BP, driving the ball out to the pull side, showing off that strength.
Jack Vanoncini (2022 SS, Redwood Shores, CA): A freshman who stood out, Vanoncini showed excellent balance to his swing and repeated the stroke well, consistently finding the barrel on a line and projecting well for power.
Alexander (AJ) Kostic (2020 SS, Waddell, AZ): Kostic had a very good day on Saturday in every facet, and he took a very good BP as well, showing off a quick, smooth stroke that gets the barrel out on time and impacts the ball well.
Kieran Sidebotham (2020 2B, Newport Coast, CA): Sidebotham showed a very good strength and bat speed combo, creating leverage off of his front side when on time and showing the ability to drive the ball into the air with authority.
Ricky Rodenberg (2022 3B, Temecula, CA): Rodenberg repeats his swing mechanics well, showing a simple line drive, middle-field approach that he executed consistently well.
Chris Henderson (2022 RHP, Wilton, CA): Henderson took a very good round, showing off his advanced strength profile and driving the ball on a line consistently.
Colin Lehmann (2020 1B, Lake Barrington, IL): Lehmann hit some of the harder shots of the BP round, finding his timing and driving the ball pull side with authority.
Thomas Napolitano (2020 C, Scottsdale, AZ): Napolitano showed good ability to get his lower half involved and generate leverage off of a firm front side, driving the ball on a line with good barrel skills.
Connor Tallakson (2021 C, Irvine, CA): Tallakson showed off some of the more impressive bat speed of this portion of BP, consistently drilling the ball on a hard line, and projects for significant power as he hits the ball in the air more.
Omar Monreal (2022 3B, Tucson, AZ): Monreal was extremely impressive, especially as a freshman, showing off loose wrists with extremely fast hands, squaring up the ball consistently and showing off big time young tools.
Dominic Giuffre (2021 SS, Rio Del Mar, CA): Giuffre had perhaps the best lower half mechanics of the day, really driving his hips through contact and creating more jump off the barrel as a result. He turned in a very consistently-barreled round of BP.
JD Mettham (2020 C, Phoenix, AZ): Mettham executed a simple, high-contact approach very well, showing off efficient mechanics throughout the swing and finding the barrel consistently on a line.
