Joseph (Joe Joe) Cava (2022, 3B/1B, Morristown, NY) hits from a slightly open stance, and does a good job of letting the ball travel while hitting where he is pitched. Cava went 2-5 during game play while scoring a run.
Zachary Gorman (2021 SS/RHP, Freehold, NJ) has a line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Gorman regularly showed the ability to get the barrel on the ball. The 2021 grad went 2-3 in game play with a 2B while adding 5 Ks on the mound, and topping out at 80.
Nicholas Vega (2021, OF/RHP, Bronx, NY) demonstrated a well rounded approach while delivering a 2B & 3B in game play. Vega makes loud contact and has the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with authority.
Alex Ungar (2020, SS/RHP, Ronkonkoma, NY) impressed while driving a 2B over the CF's head. The ball jumps off Ungar's bat due to his good bat speed & extenstion.
Noah Mrotek (2021, RHP, Bowie, MD) ran his FB up to 88 while settling in at 83-88. Mrotek flashed a CB with downer bite at 74. The 2021 righty struck-out 3 over 3 innings of work.
EJ Exposito (2019, SS/RHP, Central Islip, NY) Showed well at the plate and on the mound. Exposito hit for the cycle to include 3 loud extra base hits. The 2019 grad makes loud contact and demonstrated the ability to routinely hit for power. The righty pitched in the mid 80s while topping at 85 with his FB.
Zach Parker (2020, C, East Amherst, NY) had a multi-hit game with 2 1Bs. Parker kept his hands inside the ball and on plane well. The 2020 grad hit the ball where he was pitched.
Sean Holley (2020, LHP/OF, Pelham, NY) pulled double duty at the dish and on the bump. Holley had 2 1Bs and stayed balanced at the plate. Holley also helped his cause by striking out 5 while running his FB up to 78.
