18U/16U Mixed Division (Players Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

Players Edge Blue 16U - 3  NJ Axemen Blue 16U - 1
NJ Axemen Blue jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning behind a Joshua Mackiewicz RBI single and would nearly hold on to win. However, in the final inning, Players Edge Blue began a rally of their own. Orin Winslow hit a a double to deep right center and knocked in 2 runs to put the game away. He finished the game 4-7 with those 2 RBI. Ethan Young (2020 1B, Lake Hopatcong, NJ) tallied another 3 hits in 6 AB and an RBI for PE Blue. Mackiewicz led NJ Axemen Blue with a 7-14 effort.

NJ Axemen Blue 16U - 7  Players Edge Blue 16U - 5
NJ Axemen Blue once again jumped out to a lead, this time 3-0 through 3 innings. Players Edge Blue rallied an scored 3 in the 4th and 5th before NJ Axemen Blue was able to answer with 4 runs of their own to put the game away. Dom Cassamassina led all players in the game with 10 hits in a 10-15 effort, He also drove in 6 oif the team's 7 runs. Orin Winslow was 4-8 with 3 RBI and Ethan Young (2020 1B, Lake Hopatcong, NJ) was 4-7 with 2 RBI in the losing effort.

NJ Axemen Blue 18U - 9  Livingston Gold 16U - 0
It was all NJ Axemen Blue 18U in this one as they blanked Livingston Gold 9-0. All players had at least 6 hits for the Axemen as Steven Rabe (2019 C, Byram Township, NJ) led the way, going 7-12 with 4 RBi and 4 EBH. Devyn Fahnestock (2019 RHP, Matamoras, PA) and Samuel Armstrong (2019 RHP, Wantage, NJ) both added 6 hits and 3 RBI and 2 RBI respectively. Livingston Gold 16U was led by Robert Sayle (2021 RHP, Livingston, NJ), who was 3-7 in the game with a 2nd inning double to deep right center.

Livingston Gold 16U - 3  NJ Axemen Blue 18U - 11
Axemen Blue 18U again was the run away winner in this one, scoring 8 runs before being answered by 2 runs in the 4th by Livingston Gold. Samuel Armstrong (2019 RHP, Wantage, NJ) had 2 bombs for the axemen, in a 8-10 effort and drove in 6 RBI. 2017's HR champ Devyn Fahnestock (2019 RHP, Matamoras, PA)  knocked out a HR and 3 RBI in a 7-10 effort. All players for Livingston Gold had an RBI with Robert Sayle (2021 RHP, Livingston, NJ) again leading the team in hitting in a 4-9 effort.


18U Division (Perfect Game - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Gold 18U - 3  PG Green 18U - 12
With 1 week left, PG Green 18U stays in the playoff hunt with a win here that was never close. Lane Thole (2018 C, Hiawatha, IA) was 8-10 for PG Green with 3 RBI while Zakary Packingham (2018 1B, Hiawatha, IA) added a HR in a 6-10 effort with 6 RBI. Packingham is now hitting an even .500 on the season to lead his team. Austin Prier (2019 OF, Marion, IA) was 8-16 with an RBI in the losing effort for PG Gold who is mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

PG Green 18U - 11 PG Maroon 18U - 6
PG Green 18U inched a game closer to PG Maroon after beating them in this game. PG Maroon jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning that was erased in the 3rd by an 8 run outburst by PG Green 18U. That ended up being the difference as PG Green 18U held on to win 11-6. Tyler Elliott (2019 2B, Mount Vernon, IA) was 10-17 in the game for the liosing PG Maroon team with 5 EBJ and 3 RBI. Tyler is now hitting .552 on the season. PG Green was led by Nick Saathoff (2018 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Zakary Packingham (2018 1B, Hiawatha, IA) who were both 6-10 with 3 RBI.

PG Maroon 18U - 15 PG Gold 18U - 7
PG Maroon stayed in the #2 slot in the 18U division this weekend with a win over PG Gold 18U. Things looked rocky as the game was tied 2-2 after 4 innings. Both teams experienced a boom on offense with PG Maroon doing more damage. Tyler Elliott (2019 2B, Mount Vernon, IA)  was 14-22 with 9 RBI for the the winning PG Maroon team with Matt Martin (2019 OF, Mount Vernon, IA) adding another 6 RBI over 8 hits. Austin Prier (2019 OF, Marion, IA)  led PG Gold in the loss, going 10-17 with 4 RBI in the loss.

PG Red 18U - 12  PG White 18U - 3
Entering this week, PG White 18U looked in very good shape for a playoff run, after dropping 2 games over the weekend, their playoff hopes look quite bleak. PG Red jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first and scored anbother 6 runs in the 5th to put away PG White 18U. Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA) with 5-15 for PG White with 2 RBI. Mark Watters (2018 SS, Marion, IA) was 11-21 with 7 RBI and Blair Brooks (2018 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 10-20 with 5 RBI for PG Red in their 2nd win of the year.

PG Black 18U - 16  PG White 18U - 15
PG Black escaped to keep their undefeated season. Michael Weiss (2019 2B, Marion, IA) was 7-11 to lead all hitters with his first HR of the year and 5 RBI. Konstantinos Papazoglou (2019 C, Fairfield, IA) and Alex Greene (2019 3B, Marion, IA) both added 7-11 efforts in the game. Papazoglou is now hitting .626 and is 3nd Nationally in that category. Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA)  had an incredible 15 RBI to lead PG White in the game.

PG Red 18U - 0  PG Black 18U - 10
This one was more of a relief for PG Black 18U after a nailbiter in game their first game. PG Black blanked PG Red while PG Red's bats went silent in the loss. Mark Watters (2018 SS, Marion, IA)  picked up the team's only hit to start the game and the team was held silent the rest of the game. PG Black 18U had a team effort with no single player really standing out. Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) went deep in the game, pushing his season total to 5. Michael Weiss (2019 2B, Marion, IA)  again had a good game average wise, going 5-7 with 3 RBI. Michael is now hitting .615 on the season, which ranks 4th Nationally.

PG Royal 18U - 0  PG Navy 18U - 2
PG Navy 18U moved to 4-5 with this win on Saturday. Patrick McGinn (2019 MIF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 5-7  to lead the way while Nick Schmucker (2019 OF, Hiawatha, IA) was 3-7 and added an RBI. Dane Carstensen (2020 SS, Marion, IA) was 4-7 and Owen Puk (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 3-8 in the loss PG Royal is now sitting at 3-6-1 on the year now heading into the final week of the season. PG Royal has been plagued with schedule conflicts all season.

PG Silver 18U - 6  PG Royal 18U - 7
The tough luck loser in this game was PG Silver. PG Royal jumped out to a 7-0 lead in through 3 innings and withstood the 6 run barrage by PG Silver over the next 4 innings to escape with a 7-6 win. PG Silver was led by the two Rose brothers, Kale Rose (2021 2B, Alburnett, IA) picking up 6 hits in 9 AB and 2 RBI while Keenan Rose (2019 OF, Alburnett, IA) picked up another 5 hits and a RBI. PG Royal had 3 players go 5-9 on the game, with Owen Puk (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA)  leading the way again with 3 RBI. PG Silver dropped to 4-6 over the weekend.

PG Navy 18U - 2  PG Silver 18U - 0
PG Navy picked up the sweep this weekend and moved to .500 in this game.  Patrick McGinn (2019 MIF, Cedar Rapids, IA) shined again, going 7-9 with an RBI and a screaming line drive 2B to right center. Lincoln Riley (2019 SS, Marion, IA) tacked on another 5 hits and RBI for Navy in the win. Kale Rose (2021 2B, Alburnett, IA)  was 3-7 and Luke Smith (2019 3B, Alburnett, IA) was 3-8 in the loss for PG Silver.

18U/16U Mixed Division (Diamond Sports Academy - Grimes, Iowa)

DSA Orange - 5  DSA Red - 3
Fighting for the #1 seed out of Diamond Sports Academy, DSA Orange 18U moved to 9-1 over the weekend winning all 3 games they played . In this game, they came back from a 1-0 deficit heading into the 6th winning to win 5-3. Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA) led all batters with a 5-9 effort for DSA Orange, also takcing on 3 RBI in the game. Collin Cook (2019 3B, Waukee, IA) was 4-7 in the game with an RBI and is now hitting for .621 on the year. Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) and Rece Heinen were both 5-7 to pace DSA Red in the loss.

DSA Red - 1  DSA Orange - 5
DSA Orange jumped out to a 4-0 lead after 2 inning and continued their winning ways, eventually winning by a score of 5-1. Collin Cook (2019 3B, Waukee, IA)  yet again was very impressive, picking up 6 hits in 8 AB while Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA) was 5-8 with 3 RBI. Rece Heinen and Gehrig Christensen (2021 C, Des Moines, IA) both picked up solid outings for DSA Red, going 3-6 in the game.

DSA Orange - 12  DSA Red - 3
Another game where DSA Red jumped out to an early lead but just couldn't hold on and keep it going was here in game #3 of this triple header. DASA scored 2 in the first inning to get a 2-0 lead but again only was able to muster 1 more run in the 12-3 loss. Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) was 5-7 for DSA Red in the loss and Gehrig Christensen (2021 C, Des Moines, IA)  knocked in 2 of the team's 3 runs. Collin Cook (2019 3B, Waukee, IA) yet again as most impressive at the plate for DSA Orange, going 6-9 with 3 RBI with Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA picking up 4 RBI and Kyle Otte picking up another 3.

DSA Royal - 14  DSA Pink - 16
In what was a great slugfest, DSA Pink was able to  do just a bit more than DSA Royal, winning 16-14. The game was back in forth with the lead swiching hands 3 times before Pink held on in 7 innings. Will Armstrong (2020 SS, Des Moines, IA) only got out 1 time in the 10-11 performance and knocked in 5 RBI. Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA) was 7-12 with 6 EBH and 4 RBI in the loss. For the victorious DSA Pink, Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was 6-9 with 8 RBI and Casey Steen (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was 6-9 with 2 RBI. At the end of the weekend, Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA)  led the country in batting average with a .655 clip.

DSA Pink - 21  DSA Royal - 14
Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA)  continued his team in game #2, going 9-12 with 11 RBI in a game of big innings. DSA Royal had the first major inning, scoring 13 in the bottom of the 4th to take a 14-9 lead through 4. The lead was short lived as 2 innings later DSA Pink exploded for a 10 run inning to with 21-14. Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA)  led DSA Royal in the game, going 6-10 with 5 RBI.

DSA Yellow - 4  DSA Royal - 5
In another nailbiter, DSA Royal was finally able to sneak away with a win, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to walk off. DSA Yellow held a 4-3 lead when Alex Pendergast (2020 SS, Des Moines, IA) hit a bases loaded single to score 1 run to win it in the bottom half. Pendergast finished the game 7-11 with 3 RBI while teammate Will Armstrong (2020 SS, Des Moines, IA)  finished 5-11 with 2 RBI. Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA) was 5-7 with an RBI to pace DSA Yellow in the loss.

DSA Yellow- 7  DSA Purple - 6
DSA Yellow avenged game #1's nailbiting loss with a nailbiting win of their own in this one. The game was tied after 5 when DSA Yellow scored 1 run in the top of the 6th to be the deciding and final score of the game. Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) was 4-7 with a RBI while Nick Stubbs (2020 RHP, Waukee, IA) knocked in 4 RBI in a 3-6 game of his own for the losing DSA Purple team. DSA Yellow was lead by Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA) who was 5-7 with 3 RBI and Ty Cowley (2019 OF, Urbandale, IA) who was 4-6 with 2 RBI.

DSA Purple - 6  DSA Yellow - 1
After falling in the first game against DSA Yellow, DSA Purple needed a win to stay in the playoff hunt. They got it here as they jumped out to a 6-0 lead and held on to win 6-1. Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA)  again shined going 5-7 with 3 EBH in the game. Derek Einertson (2021 OF, Norwalk, IA) and Evan Borst (2021 MIF, Prole, IA) added 2 RBI a piece. For the losing DSA Yellow team, Brook Heinen and Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA)  were both 3-6 with Cullinan picking up an RBI.

DSA Navy - 10  DSA White - 1
DSA Navy had a come from behind win here in the first game of the triple header, scroing 10 runs in the final 3 innings. Kade Von Der Linde (2020 2B, Des Moines, IA) was 6-15 with the team's lone RBI. Jordan Sedivec awas 5-7 with an RBI and 3 runs scored for DSA Navy and Dillon Kuehl (2022 LHP, Urbandale, IA) picked up 2 hits and 5 RBI  for DSA Navy. DSA Navy finished this weekend with 1 win and is now sitting at 2-8 heading into the final regular season week.

DSA White - 2  DSA Navy - 1
This game was a nailbiter as DSA White jumped out to a 2-0 lead and held on just long enough to win 2-1. Will Tyler (2020 3B, Des Moines, IA) had 6 hits and an RBI while Kade Von Der Linde (2020 2B, Des Moines, IA) scored both of the team's runs in the victory. DSA Navy was led by Ethan Drown and Jordan Sedivec who both picked up 4 hits. DSA White is now 1-9 on the season after picking up their first win of the year during this game.

DSA Silver - 2  DSA Gold - 0
DSA Silver picked up it's 4th win of the year, moving to 4-5. While DSA Gold also moved to 4-5 in the loss. Isaac Boley (2020 OF, Grimes, IA) and Caleb Hews were both 3-6 in the game for DSA Silver. The big moment of the game happened in the 4th inning when Bryce Jermier (2020 3B, Grimes, IA) hit his first HR of the year and broke the game open with 2 RBI on the play. Ty Langenberg (2020 RHP, Urbandale, IA) was 3-5 with a near HR of his own, knocking a ball to deep left center for a 2B for DSA Gold.


18U Division (The Summit Athletic Center - Marlborough, New Hampshire)

Summit Green - 0  Summit Lightning - 2
Both teams were locked in a defensive struggle in The Summit Athletic Center's first 18U game of the week before having the game broken open in the 7th inning. The Summit Green and Summit Lightning were tied at 0 heading to the bottom of the 7th when Trevor Greene knocked in 2 runs on his single down the line in shallow right field. Trevor and his 2 teammates all finished with 2 hits in the game in the win. Hayden Chandler (2021 2B, Acworth, NH) led Summit Green 18U with 2 hits.

Summit Lightning - 0  Summit White - 0
This was another low scoring affair where in this one, neither team was able to bring one home. Coleman Reece picked up 3 hits in 8 AB for Summit Green in the tie while Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH) was 3-8 with a near HR to deep right center. Summit Lightning is now 1-1-5 follow this weekend while Summit White moved to 4-3-4.

Summit Blue - 0  Summit Green - 0
This game was another where neither team could get anything going. Both teams were only able to muster 3 hits a piece with Dan Heise (2018 RHP, Richmond, NH) picking up 2 of his team's 3 in the game. All 3 players for Summit Green had a single hit.

Summit White - 2  Summit Blue - 1
This game came down to the wire as Summit Blue took a 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the 6th inning. Cam Chamberlain picked up 5 hits on 10 AB with 4 of those going for extra bases for Summit Blue in the losing effort. Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH) led Summit White with a 4-9 effort and driving in an RBI in the final inning. Summit Blue is now 6-1-2 and is in the drivers seat for a playoff berth.

Summit White - 0  Summit Green - 0
This game had a lot of offense but neither team could puyt that into runs as they left a lot of runners stranded. Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH)  was 5-10 and Luke Beard was 3-10 for Summit White while Coleman Reece led the way for Summit Green with 4 hits in the game. Summit Green is sitting at 0-6-5 on the season as they are still looking for their first win.


18U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Black - 5  Southworth Red - 6
A back and forth affair was finally broken open in the 4th inning when Southworth Red scored 4 runs to pull away from Southworth Black in a game where neither team really pulled away from the other. Jaxson Johnson (2018 3B, Lincoln, NE) was very impressive in the losing effort, going 6-7 with 4 EBH. University of Nebraska commit Colby Gomes (2018 RHP, Omaha, NE) tacked on 3 hits and 2 RBI in the losing effort for Southworth Black. Austin Oswald (2019 SS, Omaha, NE) was 4-6 with 3 RBI and Jacob Legleiter (2019 SS, Omaha, NE) was 3-7 with the team's other 3 RBI for Southworth Red while picking up the team's first win of the year.

Southworth Red - 4  Southworth Black - 16
The bats exploded in game #2 for Southworth Black as they avenged their first loss of the season in game #1. As a team, they blasted 6 HR in the game and had 22 total hits. Jaxson Johnson (2018 3B, Lincoln, NE) was 5-8 with 2 HR and 2 RBI as Dylan Phillips extended his HR lead nationally with 2 more of his own on a 6-8 effort. Colby Gomes (2018 RHP, Omaha, NE)  had 6 RBI in the game with a HR and 5 hits. Wyatt Andersen (2019 SS, Minden, IA) hit his first HR of the year for Southworth Black on a 4-8 effort. Southworth Red was led by Reilly Kirkpatrick (2019 LHP, Omaha, NE) and Trevor Stevens (2019 2B, Omaha, NE) who both had 5 hits in 7 AB.

16U Division (Pete Rose Hit King Baseball Academy- Katy, Texas)

Hit King White - 0  Hit King Gold - 1
This game saw a lot of offense but incredibly, not a lot of runs. The losing team out hit the winning team 11-7 in the game. Jack Chapman (2021 OF, Katy, TX) and Samuel Massi (2020 LHP, Katy, TX) let Hit King White with 4 hits a piece in the losing effort while Dylan Anderson was 3-9 with a RBI and run scored to lead his team to a 1-0 victory on Thursday night.

Hit King Gold - 2  Hit King White - 0
Hit King Gold 16U completed the sweep of Hit King White in game #2, winning by a score of 2-0. They picked up both of their runs in later innings as they got a single run across in both the 6th and the 7th. Zach Brunner (2019 1B, Katy, TX) led Hit King Gold in the win, going 7-11 with 2 RBI. Jack Chapman (2021 OF, Katy, TX)  and Zack Ellinwood both had 2 hits in the loss for Hit King White.

Hit King Red - 0  Hit King Black - 1
Hit King Black only was able to pick up 5 hits but got one that counted when Jack Johnson got his only hit of the game. A double to deep left center to drive in Caleb Matthews. Darian Russell and Caleb Matthews both had 2 hits a piece to lead Hit King Black. Albert Thurston (2020 OF, Magnolia, TX) and Avery Sitkowski both had 3 hits a piece in the loss for Hit King Red.

Hit King Black - 4  Hit King Red - 8
The 4th and final game had a TON of offense as the teams combined for 31 hits. AJ T had 9 hits and 3 RBI to lead Hit King Red while teammate Avery Sitkowski tacked on another 6 hits and 4 RBI. Jack Johnson had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Caleb Matthews had 4 hits and 1 RBI for Hit King Black.


16U Division (Perfect Game Headquarters - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Black - 1  PG Red - 6
Jockeying for position in the 16U division at PG HQ and this game was HUGE as PG Red was able to jump in front of PG Black 16U for the #1 spot in the facility. Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) was 6-9 with 3 RBI in this first game while Carson Sirowy (2020 2B, Ely, IA) and Tyler Loebel (2020 RHP, Cedar Falls, IA) added 3 hits a piece. Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 2-8 with an RBI and a double off the left field wall for PG Black.

PG White - 0  PG Black - 1
PG Black avoided a disaster with a nail biting win in this game. Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 5-10 and Austin Stallman (2019 1B, Robins, IA) was 4-10 with a RBI for PG Black in the win. PG White dropped to 1-5-3 following this game and was led by Kortland Nehring (2022 RHP, Alden, IA), who was 4-13 in the game.

PG Red - 13  PG Navy - 0
Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) exploded for 3 HR in this second game and looks to solidify the #1 seed out of PG HQ following next week. He was 6-10 overall and knocked in 8 RBI. Carson Sirowy (2020 2B, Ely, IA) was 6-10 in the game and drove in a run. PG Navy was led by Dalton Delay (2021 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) who was 3-7 in the shutout loss.

PG Green - 0  PG White - 1
This game was a defenseive struggle until PG White finally drove a run across to walk it off for PG White in this game. Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA) led the inning off with a single and was followed by a Kortland Nehring (2022 RHP, Alden, IA) single. With Arends back up, he hit a single up the middle to knock a run in from 2nd to pick up the walkoff win. Max Drish (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) had the only hit for PG Green while Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA)  led the vistorious PG White team in a 10-15 effort.

PG Navy - 1  PG Green - 0
Picking up their 2nd win of the year, PG Navy was finally able to push across a run in the top of the 7th inning after picking up 15 hits. Blake Bohon (2021 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 8-12 in tehe game and looked great while scattering singles up shallow right and left center. Braden Hageman (2020 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) picked up both of the team's hits in the 7th to hit himself in for the win. Nathaniel Mead (2020 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) had the lone hit for PG Green in the loss. PG Green is now 0-8-2.


16U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Green - 3  Southworth Blue - 4
The Southworth Blue 16U team scored 4 runs in the first 3 innings and it ended up being all they needed as they knocked off Southworth Green 4-3 on Sunday night in Omaha. Jared Quade (2020 3B, Gretna, NE) led the team with 2 RBI while Kaben Steenbock (2021 3B, Omaha, NE) was 3-6 with an RBI for the vistorious Southworth Blue team. Matt Pleiss and Eric Standish (2020 SS, Omaha, NE) both had 3 hits for Southworth Green.

Southworth Blue - 0  Southworth Green - 19
Southworth Green's bats came alive following the loss in game #1 as they exploded for 28 hits and 19 runs. Matt Pless and Eric Standish (2020 SS, Omaha, NE)  both picked up 8 hits for Southworth Green with 5 RBI a piece. Josh Senstock (2021 C, Lincoln, NE) and Max Anderson (2020 SS, Omaha, NE) added 6 hits a piece in the win. Nicholas Sall (2020 OF, Omaha, NE) was 3-7 in the loss for Southworth Blue. Southworth Blue moves to 3-7 on the year and Southworth Green is now 5-5.

Southworth Black - 12  Southworth Purple - 4
With 2 wins this weekend, Southworth Black was able to clinch the automatic playoff bid for the 16U division for Southworth Hitting in Omaha. In a game lead by Southworth Purple until the 6th inning, it looked as though there was a chance we may have had to wait another week, but with the 7 run explosion in the 7th, they were able to clinch in this first game. Trevor Barajas, the nation's HR leader (17), did not hit one in this game but had an otherwise very impressive day at the plate. In this game, he was 9-14 with 7 RBI and 5 EBH. Teammate and fellow standout Trey Frahm (2020 SS, Elkhorn, NE) continued his tear of a season, going 9-14 here with 4 RBI. Noah Greise (2020 C, Omaha, NE) was 5-11 with 2 runs scored and a double while Tyler VanDerwerken (2021 C, Bellevue, NE) was 4-12 with 3 RBI.

Southworth Purple - 2  Southworth Black - 7
With cliching of the facility championship complete after game #1, Southworth Black set it's sights on a sweep on the day against Southworth Black. This time, Trevor Barajas went deep in his 7-11 effort and added 3 RBI. Trey Frahm (2020 SS, Elkhorn, NE)  also went yard in his 5-10 game with 3 RBI. Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) tacked on an additional 5 hits in 11 AB for Southworth Black. Harold Urban led Southworth purple in a 5-11 game.

Southworth Gold - 8  Southworth Red - 9
In a wildly entertaining game, Southworth Red raced out to a 6-0 lead through 3 innings and through 5 was up 8-3. Following 5 unanswered runs by Southworth Gold to tie it up heading into the bottom of the 7th, Southworth Red needed 1 run to win it, and they did just that in walkoff fashion. Garrett Anglim (2020 3B, Lavista, NE) was very impressive in the loss for Southworth Gold, going 7-9 with 5 RBI while Hunter Scruggs (2020 C, Papillion, NE) tallied another 6 hits in 10 AB. Ethan Hergert (2021 1B, Gretna, NE) led the way for Southworth Red, going 5-8 with  5 RBI and Noah Greise (2020 C, Omaha, NE)  added a 5-9 performance with 5 RBI.

14U Division (Dothan Baseball Club - Dothan, Alabama)

Dothan Black - 9  Dothan White - 5
With the facility championship already clinched, Dothan Black 14U looked to sharpen it's skills in preparation of the playoffs come February 18. Bauer Sharp launched his first HR of the year in this one, going 7-9 in the game with 5 RBI. Sheldon Ott (2022 LHP, Newton, AL) also shined with a 5-10 performance. Bauer Sharp is now hitting .643, ranking 2nd nationally in a minimum of 50 AB's. Dothan White was led by Dylan Evans (2022 C, Dothan, AL) and Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL), both of which went 5-7 in the game.

Dothan White - 11  Dothan Black - 26
In an offensive explosion for both teams, they combined for 51 hits and 37 runs in 7 innings. Dothan Black at one point led 23-3 before Dothan White made a late push in the last two innings. Dylan Evans (2022 C, Dothan, AL) and Trey Summers both tallied 5 hits for Dothan White in the loss while Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL) added 6 RBI in 4 hits. Bauer Sharp continued his tear in game #2, going 10-13 with an incredible 10 RBI on 8 EBH. Jake Smith (2022 SS, Dothan, AL), the nation's batting avg leader at .648 was 9-12 with 6 RBI. Camden Smith (2022 1B, Dothan, AL) and Sheldon Ott (2022 LHP, Newton, AL) a both added 7 hits and 5 RBI in the win. Dothan Black looks like a serious title contender in the 14U field.

Dothan Black and Dothan White had another highly entertaining game in this one with Dothan Black evetually prevailing 10-9 in the back and forth affair. Jake Smith (2022 SS, Dothan, AL) continued to rake, going 8-10 in the game with 4 RBI while Sheldon Ott (2022 LHP, Newton, AL) did more of the same, going 7-10 with 4 RBI. Dylan Evans (2022 C, Dothan, AL) and Maddox Burkhardt both had 4 hits for Dothan White with Burkhardt knocking in 3 RBI.

In the final game of the week for any facility, Dothan Black solified their resume in a 10-0 blanking of Dothan White. Dothan White's bats fell silent with RISP. Dylan Evans (2022 C, Dothan, AL) and Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL) both were solid at the plate despite not scoring any runs, going 3-5. Jake Smith (2022 SS, Dothan, AL) again was most impressive for Dothan Black, going 8-10 with his first HR of the year and 6 RBI. Sheldon Ott (2022 LHP, Newton, AL) and Tucker Watkins (2024 3B, Dothan, AL) both tacked on 5 hits in the win for Dothan Black.


14U Division (Perfect Game Headquarters - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Navy - 7  PG Red - 1
PG Navy stayed atop the standings at PG HQ with 2 wins on Thursday night. McKade Jelinek (2022 RHP, Marion, IA) and Clayton Muszynski (2022 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) both had 7 hits in the game with Jelinek added 6 RBi and 4 EBH. Ben Klesner (2023 OF, Marion, IA) and Boston Stoffel (2023 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) both had 5 hits in the loss for PG Red with Stoffel driving in the team's lone RBI and scoring the only run.

PG Red - 6  PG Navy - 0
PG Black won game #2 in shutout fashion as PG Red just couldn't put together multiple hits in a row to drive home some runs. McKade Jelinek (2022 RHP, Marion, IA) had 10 hits in the win and added an additional 3 RBi while Clayton Muszynski (2022 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 6-16 with 3 RBI. Xavier Hummer (2022 1B, Marion, IA) led the way in the loss for PG Navy, going 4-9 in the game.

PG Black - 1  PG Royal - 2
PG Royal had two nailbiter wins over PG Black on Thursday night to stay in contention for a playoff berth. John Schultz (2023 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) was the leader in the win and drove in both teams runs in a 7-15 effort at the plate. Jay Gatto (2023 OF, Marion, IA) was 5-7 in the loss while Brik Larson (3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) drove home the team's lone RBI in the top of the 4th inning.

PG Royal - 1  PG Black 0
Picking up it's second win of the day, PG Royal jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning when John Schultz (2023 C, Cedar Rapids, IA)  hit a single to drive home the game's lone run. Overall, Schultz was 5-14 in the game. Jay Gatto (2023 OF, Marion, IA)  and Brik Larson (3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) both picked up 2 hits a piece to lead PG Black in the loss.

PG White - 14  PG Gold - 1
PG White continues to be on a tear and looks like when the full team is together, they could be very tough to beat come playoff time. Parker Smith (2022 2B, Amana, IA) led the way in this blowout win, going 9-15 with 8 RBI while Kenneth Thompson (2022 LHP, Milan, IL) added another 8 hits and 3 RBI. Roman Rivera (2023 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) lokos to be finding his stride as he lead PG Gold with a 5-9 effort.

PG Gold - 1  PG White - 15
PG White moved to 6-2 on the season as they move forward to the final two weeks of the season. Andrew Freeman (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 10-15 with 9 RBI while Parker Smith (2022 2B, Amana, IA) and Kenneth Thompson (2022 LHP, Milan, IL)  both added 8-14 efforts. Cooper Schenck (2023 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) led the way for PG Gold with 3 hits and Carson Schenck (2023 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) had a RBI for the team.


14U Division (Bomber's Bunker - Troy, New York)

Bunker Red - 0  Bunker Blue - 0
In a scoreless tie, both teams struggled to get a hit when they had runners in position. Landen Jamula (2022 RHP, Lanesborough, MA) had a hit with a runner on 2nd that they held at 3rd on the hit. On the game, Jamula was 2-8 and Derek Paris (2022 C, Lanesboro, MA) was 2-9 to lead Bunker Blue. All players for Bunker Red had a hit in the game.

Bunker Blue was the team that excelled first and was able to get a run across to pick up the win. In the 4th inning, Landen Jamula (2022 RHP, Lanesborough, MA) knocked in the winning run in the top half of the 4th inning and had a 3-9 game. Derek Paris (2022 C, Lanesboro, MA) also tallied 3 hits for Bunker Blue. Ryan Bates led all batters in the game with 5 hits in 9 AB but was left stranded.

Picking up their 2nd win of the year, Bunker White won 2-0 in a shutout of Bunker Grey. Damon Mason (2021 C, West Sand Lake, NY) was 4-7 with a run scored for Bunker White while Ty Hernandez (2022 C, Rotterdam, NY) and Tyler Dedrick (2022 OF, Clifton Park, NY) both drove in a run in the win. Bunker Grey dropped to 0-2-6 on the year following the weekend.

Bunker Grey and Bunkler White played to a scoreless tie on Thursday night. David Bernard Jr (2022 3B, Schenectady, NY) led all batters with 2 hits in the game while Peter Solimando (2021 SS, Schenectady, NY) picked up another for Bunker Grey. In the tie, Bunker White moved to 2-0-6 and currently sits in first place for the 14U division for Bomber's Bunker in Troy, New York.


14U/16U Mixed Division (The Barn Baseball Academy - Manhattan, Kansas)

The Barn Red 14U - 0  The Barn Black 14U - 1
The Barn Black 14U moved to 4-1-1 on the season following the win and tie this weekend. Jack Campbell (2022 OF, Manhattan, KS) and Ryan Erickson (2022 3B, Wamego, KS) both had 3 hits for The Barn Black and Braden Dinkel (2022 C, Manhattan, KS) drove in the team's RBI. Trae Haub had the lone hit for The Barn Red.

All hree hitters for The Barn Black 16U picked up 2 hits in the loss, however, they batted .000 when it mattered most as they were unable to put hits together to get a run across as they were blanked 1-0. PG Red was led by Trae Haub, who had 2 hits in the game and Ethan Burgess (2021 OF, Hooksett, NH) who had 2 hits and the lone RBI.

The Barn Black 14U - 2  The Barn Black 16U - 2
Both team's offenses were much more effective in this game as they combined for 21 hits over 7 innings. Cade Perkins (2022 LHP, Manhattan, KS) led The 14U black team with 4 hits in 7 tries and picking up a double to deep right center. Jack Campbell (2022 OF, Manhattan, KS) and Ryan Erickson (2022 3B, Wamego, KS)  both had an RBI in the game as wekk. Avery Brokenicky (2020 OF, Manhattan, KS) broke out in the final game of the day, going 6-9 with a drushed double to deep left center. Will Rosenow (2020 3B, Clay Center, KS) picked up both of the team's RBI in the top of the 6th.


14U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Black - 8  Southworth Red - 1
Southworth Black jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 3 innings and held on to win by a final of 8-1. Dalton Bargo (2022 C, Omaha, NE) was 6-9 to lead all batters and Aiden Rupprecht (2021 1B, Omaha, NE) was 5-9 with 4 RBI for the winning Southworth Black team. Ryan Barboza (2021 C, Omaha, NE) was 5-7 with the lone RBI for Southworth Red.

In a nailbiter, Southworth Black won 3-2 over Southworth Red to move to 7-3 on the season with this sweep. Chris Park was 4-6 with 2 RBI for Southworth Red and Dalton Bargo (2022 C, Omaha, NE)  was 5-7 with an RBI for the vistorious Southworth Black team. Maddux Fleck (2022 SS, Omaha, NE) and Aiden Rupprecht (2021 1B, Omaha, NE) both added an RBI for Southworth Black in the 1 run win.


14U Division (Hit King Baseball Academy - Katy, Texas)

Hit King Black - 0  Hit King Red - 0
Hit King Red and Hit King Black played to a scoreless tie in the first game of the week for the Hit King Baseball Academy in Katy, Texas. Jace Herford was 3-8 for Hit King Black while Gunnar Walker picked up 2 hits for Hit King Red.

Hit King Black was able to pick up the win in game #2 of the day. They scored in the 3rd and 5th inning and held Hit King Red scoreless to win. Braydon Venters and Jace Herford both picked up 5 hits for Hit King Black in the win with Braydon Venters picking up an RBI. Chance Thurston (2022 OF, Magnolia, TX) and Gunnar Walker both had 1 hit for Hit King Red.

In the first game of the day for Hit King White, they were able to escape with a 1-0 win. Yianni Stellakis and Gunnar Walker both had 2 hits for Hit King Red while Chance Thurston (2022 OF, Magnolia, TX) led Hit King White with 4 hits and Caeden Wisdom knocked in the lone RBI in the game off of 2 hits.

Hit King Red finally was able to pick up a win in it's 4th and final game of the day. Lucas Payan had 5 hits for the losing Hit King White team and Chance Thurston (2022 OF, Magnolia, TX)  had 4 hits and an RBI for Hit King Red. Gunnar Walker added 2 hits for Hit King Red in the win. Hit King White is 6-1-5 to lead the 14U division.


14U Division (Player's Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

North Bergen Gold - 0  NJ Axemen Blue - 14
In the only games of the week for the 14U division at Players Edge it was all NJ Axemen. Nazier Mule (2022 3B, Paterson, NJ) got back to his ways of last year's session, blasting 3 HR and driving in 10 RBI in 8 AB. Jace Gilligan (2026 OF, Ringwood, NJ) added a perfect 8-8 day at the dish and drove in the remaining 4 RBI. Ethan Nieves (2024 2B, North Bergen, NJ) was 2-6 to pace North Bergen Gold.

North Bergen Gold - 0  NJ Axemen Blue - 7
Game #2 was no different than game #1 as NJ Axemen Blue crusied to a 7-0 win. Nazier Mule (2022 3B, Paterson, NJ)  and Jace Gilligan (2026 OF, Ringwood, NJ) again led the way for the Axemen, both going 3-6 in the game with 4 RBi and 2 RBI respectively. Michael Laviola (2024 1B, North Bergen, NJ) was 2-7 to lead North Bergen Gold.


14U Division (Starters Training Center - Shakopee, Minnesota)

Starters Blue - 0  Starters Green - 0
Playing to a scoreless tie, both teams entered the weekend really needing to get 2 wins to stay in playoff contention. This tie, however, did not help either. In the game, Robbie Traylor was 2-5 to lead Starters Blue, who is now 4-5-1. Mitchel Lubansky (2023 RHP, Savage, MN) led Starters Green with a 2-4 effort. His Starters Green team is now officially eliminated from playoff contention with a 2-5-3 record.

Starters Green - 0  Starters Blue - 3
Starters Blue picked up a huge win here to stay in the playoff hunt, shutting out Starters Green in the process. Alex Oliva was 3-5 with an RBI for Starters Bluie with Ethan Barns (2023 C, Bloomington, MN) and Aiden Shermak (2023 RHP, Bloomington, MN)both added an RBI in the game. Starters Blue has 2 HUGE games next week against Starters Red and needs to win both to have a good chance at making the National playoff.

Starters Red - 0  Starters Orange - 0
Both of these teams are not having the season they had wanted to, however, they all have had some good showings throughout the course of the year. In this double header, both teams battled to stay out of last place but stayed in the same positions with 2 ties. Isaac Vesta (2023 OF, Bloomington, MN) was 1-4 but took a line drive double to deep left center for Starters Red while Luke Meriwether and Justin Shoemaker both had 1 hit for Starters Orange.

In another scoreless tie, neither team could bunch together a group of hits to get some runs across the plate. Luke Meriwether (2023 1B, Belle Plaine, MN) had a solid performance at the plate going for 2-6 in the game for Starters Orange. Carter Krenke (2023 OF, Bloomington, MN) was 3-4 with hard hit ground balls up the ball for Starters Red.

Starters Black - 10  Starters Yellow - 0
In a much anticipated double header  matchup for first place, Starters Black made a huge move and came away with a sweep. This moves them in first place by a half game with a week to go. Both teams look to be in a good spot for playoffs but should not rest on next week's matchups. Kyle Hvidsten (2022 RHP, Jordan, MN) had an excellent game, knocking out his 1st HR of this second session and driving in 5 RBI in a 6-10 game. Austin Lucas (2022 SS, Jordan, MN) was also 6-10 and drove in 2 RBI and had 2 EBH. Brayden Ellenberg (2022 1B, Chanhassen, MN) was 3-5 for Starters Yellow.

Starters Yellow - 5  Starters Black - 12
Hoping to avenge the loss in game #1, Starters Yellow jumped all over Starters Black by scoring 5 runs in the first inning. Unfortuantely for them, however, it was the only runs they could get as Starters Black slowly poured on runs throughout the game to move into first place. Austin Lucas (2022 SS, Jordan, MN)  was 6-10 while Kyle Hvidsten (2022 RHP, Jordan, MN)  was 5-10 with 7 RBI. David Buesgens (2023 OF, New Prague, MN) and Anthony Kurth (2022 SS, Victoria, MN) tacked on 5 hits and 2 RBI for the winners. Riley Thuringer (2023 1B, Shakopee, MN) was 5-7 to lead Starters Yellow.


14U Division (The Summit Athletic Center - Marlborough, New Hampshire)

Summit Black - 1  Summit Purple - 0
- Summit Black picked up it's first win of the season on Sunday, knocking off undefeated Summit Purple in 11 innings. Alex Charles had a single in the top of the 11th and was eventually knocked in by Kevin Putnam in his lone hit of the game, a line drive single that fell just short of the center fielder. Trevor Heise and Liam Yardley had 4 hits a piece for Summit Purple in the loss.

Summit Purple was able to overcome the loss in game 1 and won game #2 by a score of 1-0. Liam Yardley took a line drive single to right center in the top of the 8th inning and drove in the winning run. Kevin Putnam and Alex Charles both had 3 hits for Summit Black in the losing effort.

12U Division (South Jersey Bullpen - Mickleton, New Jersey)

SJB Grey - 7  SJB Black - 8
In a dramatic come from behind win, SJB Black escaped with a 1 run walkoff win against SJB Grey. Nick Burns (2023 1B, Mt Ephraim, NJ) led SJB Grey in the loss, just getting out 1 time in 8 AB and driving in 2 runs. Alexis Rosano (2023 C, Pine Hill, NJ) added another 4 hits and 3 RBI for SJB Grey. The victors were led by Jared Dzierzgowski and Corey Lyle (2023 RHP, Mantua, NJ), who were both 4-7 respectively. Dziergowski had 5 RBI to lead the team and Lyle knocked in the remaining 3 runs.

SJB Black - 8  SJB Grey - 3
Off of a come from behind game 1, SJB Black rode the momentum to a commanding 8-3 win in game #2. Jared Dziergowski again led all batters in a 5-7 day with 5 RBI while Ryan Heenan was 4-6 with 2 RBI. In the loss, Zach Reich (2024 1B, Somerdale, NJ) was 4-6 with 2 RBI and Nick Burns (2023 1B, Mt Ephraim, NJ) was 3-6 with 1 RBI. SJB Black moved to 6-1-1 with the two wins.

SJB Orange - 0  SJB Blue - 2
SJB Blue scored the only 2 runs in the bottom of the last inning to take home a walkoff win over SJB Orange. Joshua Herner (2024 2B, Mt Royal, NJ) was 4-5 with the two big RBI in the game with Nick Matteo adding another 3 hits. Sal Marziani was 3-5 in the losing effort for SJB Orange.


12U Division (The Barn Baseball Academy - Manhattan, Kansas)

The Barn Orange - 0  The Barn Purple - 0
The first game of the week for The Barn Baseball Academy in Manhattan, Kansas was a scoreless tie between The Barn Orange and The Barn Purple. The Barn Purple had a solid appearance from Jadyn Hudley, who was 4-7 and Trey Wight picked up another hit in the game. The tie kept The Barn urple unbeaten with a 4 ties after this week.

Another scoreless game was game #2 as The Barn REd and Purple locked horns. Colton Wight was 2-7 for the Barn Red and both Donovan Debita and Jadyn Hudley had 2 hits for The Barn Purple.

The Barn Orange had 7 hits in the game but just couldn't get a run across as they again tied with The Barn Red in the 3rd game. Colton Wight had 3 hits in 6 AB for The Barn Red and Ryker Zoeller had 3 hits in 6 AB in the game for The Barn Orange. Colten Tadtman tacked on another 2 hits for The Barn Orange.

The first runs of the week for The Barn Baseball Academy came in the 1st inning for The Barn Purple as Trey Wight and Luke Ethridge both drove in a run to take a commanding 2-0 lead. Trey was 4-7 in the game and scored a run to go with his RBI. Jadyn Hundley was 3-7 with a run scored as well for The Barn Purple. The Barn Orange responded in the 4th and scored a run but could not score a 2nd to tie the game. Colten Tadtman and Ryker Zoeller both had 2 hits in the loss as Zoeller also picked up an RBI.

In the first game of a 3 team round robin, it was a scoreless tie as both teams were warming up. Owen Miesner (2024 RHP, Manhattan, KS) had the lone hit of the game for The Barn White, going 1-6 in the game as Mitchel McDaniel (2025 C, Council Grove, KS) had the only 2 hits in the game for The Barn Black, going 2-6 in the contest.

The Barn Black's bats warmed up a bit in game #2, but still was not enough to get a runa cross the plate as both The Barn Black and the Barn Red played to a scoreless tie. Drew Buchman (2025 OF, Council Grove, KS) had all 5 hits in the game, which included a 2B to deep left center in the 6th inning.

The Barn White struck gold in the final game of the week on Monday night as they scored twice int he 2nd and again in the 5th to beat The Barn Red 3-0 on Monday evening. Benny Underhill (2025 C, Junction City, KS) loooked spectaculer as he was 5-9 at the plate with 2 EBH and 2 RBI. Owen Miesner (2024 RHP, Manhattan, KS) drove in the remaining run in a 4-9 game at the plate. Colton Wight was 1-5 and had the lone hit for The Barn Red in the losing effort.


12U Division (Players Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

NJ Axemen Red - 3  NJ Edge Blue - 0
The NJ Axemen Red scored 2 runs in the first inning and held on for 1 3-0 win to blank NJ Edge Blue in the first game of the week for Players Edge in Wayne, New Jersey. Teodosie Talijan (2024 RHP, Ridgefield, NJ) was 4-7 with an RBI and Rhys Bowie had another 4 hits to lead NJ Axemen Red. Brandon Portorreal was 3-7 and was the bright spot for NJ Edge Blue in the loss.

NJ Edge Blue - 2  NJ Axemen Red - 6
The Axemen raced out to a 4-0 lead and won 6-2 to defeat NJ Edge Blue on Sunday night. Stephen Kubis led all players with a 5-6 effort and launched his 1st HR of the season in a 3 RBI game. Rhy Bowie tacked on 2 hits and 2 RBI for the victors. NJ Edge had a solid showing again by Brandon Portorreal who was 5-9 with and RBI while Sebastian Rivas had the other RBI for the team.

NJ Edge Red - 8  NJ Axemen White - 19
In what was a 2 v 2 game, NJ Axemen White was able to pull away from NJ Edge Red by a score of 19-8. Cj Orrego (2024 C, Wayne, NJ) had a stellar performance, picking up 14 hits with 12 of them being for extra bases. He also was able to tack on 11 RBI in the win. Jp Zayle (2025 3B, Bridgewater, NJ) had a solid outing in the loss, going 10-16 with 6 RBI in 6 EBH.

NJ Edge Red - 11  NJ Axemen White - 13
In a much closer game #2, NJ Axemen White was down by 2 runs going to the bottom of 5th before they scored 3 to put the game away for good. Jp Zayle (2025 3B, Bridgewater, NJ) launched his first HR of the year and had 6 EBH and 8 RBI in a 12-18 effort in the game. NJ Axemen Blue 12U - 40 NJ Edge White - 3
In what is probably the largest offensive explosion of the season, NJ Axemen went absolutely off in this game. They scored 40 runs in just 5 innings as they beat NJ Edge 40-3. They scored 15 runs in the 1st inning and didn't take their foot off the gas. Luke Monico (2024 SS, Ramsey, NJ) was 16-18 with 12 EBH and 14 RBI while Andrew Fierro (2024 3B, Bloomingdale, NJ) had 16 hits in 20 AB and drove in 18. Devin Daproza (2023 MIF, Englewood, NJ) had a solid game, going 12-19 with 8 RBI as well.The tough luck losers were NJ Edge White who was led by Drew Oppenheim who was 3-6 with 2 RBI on the day.

NJ Edge White - 13  NJ Axemen Blue - 33
NJ Edge White jumped out first i this game, scoring 4 runs in the first, unfortunately for them, it was quickly answer by 4 in the 1st and 15 in the 2nd for NJ Axemen Blue. Luke Monico (2024 SS, Ramsey, NJ) and Devin Daproza (2023 MIF, Englewood, NJ) hwere both 13-16 for NJ Axemen Blue and Andrew Fierro (2024 3B, Bloomingdale, NJ) was 12-16 in the rout. Fierro drove in 13 RBI and Monico had 12. In a better offensive game for NJ Edge White, Carter Hauge and Drew Oppenheim both picked up 7 hits and had 5 RBI and 6 RBI respectively.


12U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Blue - 5  Southworth Green - 4
Southworth Blue stormed back in the final inning to knock off Southworth Green 5-4 on Saturday night. Southworth Blue picked up great games from Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) (8-15 with 2 RBI) and Greyson Bogdanovich (2025 2B, Lincoln, NE) (6-15 with 3 RBI) in the win. Karson Skokan was 4-7 with and RBI and Kalvin Janssen was 3-4 with 3 RBI.

Southworth Green - 3 Southworth Blue - 10
Southworth Blue picked up the sweep of Southworth Green with a convincing 10-3 win in this game. Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) had another 10 hits and 2 RBI in 16 AB for Southworth Blue with teammate Greyson Bogdanovich (2025 2B, Lincoln, NE) picking up 9 hits and 8 RBI in 17 AB. Karson Skokan had 5 hits and an RBI and Grant Rice had 3 hits and an RBI in the loss.

Southworth Black - 11 Southworth Purple - 7
Southworth Purple stormed out ouf the gates scoring 7 runs in the first inning and looked in good shape, unfortunately that is all they could muster and eventually faltered as Southworth Black steadily scored 11 runs throughout the game. All 3 Players, Samuel Niven (2025 1B, Lincoln, NE), Lou Hodoly and Danny Wallace had 7 hits a piece for Southworth Black. Southworth Purple was led by Seth Berry and Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) who had 6 hits a piece.

Southworth Purple mounted a large comeback of their own and exploded for 6 runs in the 6th inning to knock off Southworth Black by a score of 7-6. Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) again was the player of the game, going 8-11 with 5 RBI. Samuel Niven (2025 1B, Lincoln, NE) totaled 7 hits and 5 RBI for Southworth black in the loss and teammate Lou Hodoly was 6-11 with an RBI.

Southworth Gold - 5  Southworth Red - 2
In the first game of the double header between Southworth Gold and Red, Southworth Gold jumped out to a 3-0 lead and played a tied game to finish it out to win 5-2. Bennett Kloke was 5-8 in the game for Southworth Gold and Spencer Phillips (2025 2B, Omaha, NE) drove in 4 runs in a 4-8 day. Derek Welte had 5 hits to pace Southworth Red while Tanner Peterson (2025 RHP, Lincoln, NE) added another 3 hits.

Southworth Gold had a lead in this game moving into the top of the 5th when Southworth Red scored 4 runs. Blake Millard was 6-9 with 4 RBI to lead the way for Southworth Red while Tanner Peterson (2025 RHP, Lincoln, NE)  and Derek Welte tacked on 4 hits a piece. Roy Steventon (2025 SS, Omaha, NE) was the hot hitter for Soutworth Gold, going 6-7 with an RBI in the loss.


12U Division (The Summit Athletic Center - Marlborough, New Hampshire)

Summit Red - 0  Summit Orange - 0
Neither team scored a run in this game where each team struggled to get hits with runners in scoring position. Jake O’Day (2025 IF, Templeton, MA) and Mitchell Cormier (2023 SS, Walpole, NH) both had 2 hits and a double a piece. Alex Delpha (2022 C, Marlborough, NH) and Taylor Miller (2025 2B, Stoddard, NH) both had a hit for Summit Orange in the scoreless tie.

Summit Blue - 0  Summit Red - 1
Summit Red pushed across a run in the 5th inning and had 7 total hits in the game #2 win. All of Summit Blue's 4 hits were split between two players with Nolan Gillis going 2-6 in the game and Joel Beard (2023 1B, Keene, NH) also was 2-6. Summit Red's lone run came in the bottom of the 5th when Mitchell Cormier (2023 SS, Walpole, NH) got an RBI triple. Cormier was 4-6 in the game with teammate Jake O’Day (2025 IF, Templeton, MA) had 2 hits.

Summit Blue bounced back in their second game to take home a win on the day. Taylor Miller (2025 2B, Stoddard, NH) had the team's only two hits on the day for Summit Orange. Nolan Gillis was 3-6 to lead the way for Summit Blue and drove in the team's lone RBI.


12U Division (Dothan Baseball Club - Dothan, Alabama)

Dothan Blue - 4  Dothan White - 0
Dothan Blue picked up the shutout victory over Dothan White on Sunday night led by CJ Sullivan's 4-5 effort and 3 RBI. Win Brock (2024 OF, Dothan, AL) and Rhett Shiver both had 3 hits a piece to add for Dothan Blue. Dothan White had a 3-4 performance from Cade Kirkland, who hit 3B to deep left center.

Dothan Black - 26  Dothan Blue - 3
Dothan Black went off in the first game of the day, scoring 26 runs in 6 innings. Bryson Brookshire had a perfect day at the plate going 10-10 with 9 RBI and crushing his 2nd HR of the season. Adam Boyd was 8-10 with 4 RBI and Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) continued to tear it up adding a 7-9 effort for 7 RBI. Waylon Woodell (2024 MIF, New Brockton, AL) had 4 hits in 5 AB and an RBI in the loss for Dothan Blue.

Dothan White - 0  Dothan Black - 27
Dothan Black continued on cruise control and won 27-0 over Dothan White. Adam Boyd was 8-9 with 10 RBI and his 2nd HR of the year for Dothan Black. Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) smashed his 3rd HR of the year in an 8-9 effort and drove in another 6 RBI in the game. 3 players for Dothan White picked up a single hit in the loss.


12U Division (Bomber's Bunker - Troy, New York)

Bunker Blue - 3  Bunker Red - 4
Bombers Bunker Red and Bomberss Blue played a very competitive first game of the double head with Bunker Red going up 4-1 and just being able to hold on long enough in the 7th as Bunker Blue scored in the final inning. Nico Desanto (2023 RHP, Colonie, NY) was 4-10 and had 3 EBH in the win and teammate Jordan Juliano (2024 C, Albany, NY) had a 3-9 effort with 3 RBI. Joe Hunter (2024 IF, Troy, NY) was 4-10 for the losing Bunker Blue with an RBI as teammate Elijah Davis (2023 OF, Valatie, NY) knocked in an additional 2 RBI.

Bunker Blue - 0  Bunker Red - 3
Nico Desanto (2023 RHP, Colonie, NY)  shined again in the win for Bunker Red in the 3-0 victory over Bunker Blue. He was 6-9 with an RBI in the game and teammate Giovanni Conte (2023 RHP, Albany, NY) tallied 3 hits and an RBI to put the game away. Joe Hunter (2024 IF, Troy, NY) was 3-8 in the game for the losing Bunker Blue team. Bunker Red is now 8-0-1 and Bunker Blue is 0-8-1.


12U Division (Perfect Game Headquarters - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Black - 1  PG Orange - 2
PG Orange is squarely on the bubble heading into this final week as this double header they salvaged a split. Rocky Yasutake (2024 1B, Solon, IA) was 4-8 in the game with a scorched double to deep left center and a run scored. Lawsin Sinnwell (2024 RHP, Solon, IA) was 3-8 and had both of the team's 2 RBI in the game to help lead the team to victory. Brandon Sparrgrove (2024 2B, Anamosa, IA) had a great game at the dish, going 5-9 with the team's lone RBI and a double to the left field fence.

PG Orange - 1  PG Black - 2
In what was possibly the most incredibly entertaining 2-1 final score ever, PG Black stunned PG Orange to come back and beat them in extra innings. PG Orange was up 1-0 the entie game and missed out on a lot of oppportunities leaving guys on base with some great plays by the HitTrax defense. Heading into the bottom of the 7th, PG Black loaded the bases with 0 outs and the next two batters got out with scoring a run, then a clutch bloop in shallow right by Brandon Sparrgrove (2024 2B, Anamosa, IA) got a run in to tie. PG Black scored again in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs to stun PG Orange and hurt their playoff chances. Lawsin Sinnwell (2024 RHP, Solon, IA) was 6-11 with an RBI for PG Orange and Josiah Hale (2024 C, Ely, IA) was 4-11. Brandon Sparrgrove (2024 2B, Anamosa, IA) was 4-11 with and RBI and Jaden Marcus ( 2B, Anamosa, IA) was 3-10 with an RBI for the victorious PG Black team.

PG Navy - 5  PG White - 1
PG Navy all but clinched the automatic berth for PG HQ in the 12U playoffs but PG White and PG Orange are both battling for a wildcard. PG Navy won this game and just about locked it up. Logan Miller (2025 C, Hiawatha, IA) was 6-11 to lead the way and James Perkins (2025 1B, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 4-11 but knocked in 3 RBI in the 5-1 win. Colin Bentley (2025 SS, Mount Vernon, IA) paced PG White with 4 hits in the game and Miles Francois (2024 1B, Mount Vernon, IA) added 3 more hits.

PG White - 6  PG Navy - 6
PG White kept a half game lead over PG Orange by tying PG Navy in game #2 of the double header.Colin Bentley (2025 SS, Mount Vernon, IA)  was 7-13 with 2 RBI while teammates Collin Crawford (2024 1B, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Miles Francois (2024 1B, Mount Vernon, IA)  also added 2 RBI a piece in the game. Max Leno (2025 SS, Robins, IA) was 6-14 with 3 RBI in the game for PG Navy while Logan Miller (2025 C, Hiawatha, IA) and James Perkins (2025 1B, Cedar Rapids, IA) were both 7-13 in the tie.

Hit King Gold 16U - 5  Hit King Red 16U - 4
- Hit King Gold 16U mounted an epic comeback in game #1 of the week in 16U, down 3 runs heading into the 6th, HitKing Gold rattled off 4 runs to gain a 5-1 lead that would hold for good. Zach Brunner (2019 1B, Katy, TX) led all batters with 8 hits in 11 at bats while adding 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Dylan Anderson added another 4 hits, a run and RBI for Hit King Gold. 16U. In  the loss, Avery Sitkowski had 7 hits and 2 RBI for Hit King Red.

Hit King Red 16U - 1  Hit King Gold 16U - 2
- Another come from behind win, this time not quite as dramatic as Hit King Gold 16U won 2-1 over Hit King Red 16U. Zach Brunner (2019 1B, Katy, TX) again led the way with 5 hits in 8 AB.. He also added 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Albert Thurston (2020 OF, Magnolia, TX) was 5-10 to lead the losing Hit King Red team.

- Hit King Black took the first game of the double header with hit King White winning by a score of 3-0. Caleb Matthews was 5-9 with 2 runs scored and an RBI for Hit King Black with Jack Johnson adding another 4 hits (2 EBH) on the day. Samuel Massi (2020 LHP, Katy, TX) was the star player for Hit King White while going 4-9 in the loss.

- Hit King White avenged their game #1 loss in game #2 of the doubleheader. Samuel Massi (2020 LHP, Katy, TX) was again very impressive, going 7-12 with 3 RBI while Zach Ellinwood added another 3 RBI. Hit King Black was led by Caleb Matthews had quite the game. He was 8-9 with 2 RBi and 2 runs scored. He also connected on 2 doubles deep to the warning rack in leftcenter.


16U Division (Perfect Game HQ - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Red 16U - 7  PG Navy 16U - 0
- Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) has continued to make his case for 16U MVP with another impressive game this past Saturday at PG HQ. In Game #1, Andrue was 5-8 with 2 HR and 5 RBI. His 13 HR are 2nd in the country and his .714 average is also 1st. If Andrue had not missed a week, he could possibly be looking at the Triple Crown. His teammate Tyler Loebel (2020 RHP, Cedar Falls, IA) also looked good, going 3-8 with 2 RBI in the game. PG Navy had 3 guys finish with 1 hit in the game.

PG Red 16U - 16  PG Black 16U - 3
- If you were impressed with Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) numbers in game #1, you will be amazed by what he did in game #2. In quite possibly the single best game ever in the PGNIL, Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) went a perfect 11-11 with 5 HR and 11 RBI. The HR race should be a fun one to watch here on out. Andrue's teammate Joseph Harris (2020 1B, Marshalltown, IA) was 6-11 with an RBI and 4 runs to add to the damage. PG Black was led by Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA who was 5-10 in the game.

PG Green 16U - 0  PG Navy 16U - 6
- PG Navy avenged their game #1 loss, shutting out PG Navy 6-0. Blake Bohon (2021 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA), Dalton Delay (2021 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Braden Hageman (2020 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) all finsihed with 4 hits in the game. Hageman finished with 3 RBI and a double to deep leftcenter to lead the team. PG Navy is now 1-3-4 on the year.

PG Black 16U - 8  PG White 16U - 2
- PG Black jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning and didn't look back as they defeated PG White 16U to move to 7-1 on the season. Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) led all batters while having a great game. He was 11-13 with 6 RBI and 4 EBH in the matchup. Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA) led PG White going 9-17 with an RBI.

PG Green 16U - 0  PG White 16U - 0
- PG Green 16U and PG White 16U played to a scoreless tie as neither team was able to pick up another win. PG White's Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA) had 4 hits in the game to lead his team while Drew Schaefer (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) picked up his team's only hit in game #2.

16U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Gold 16U - 8  Southworth Black 16U - 3
- Southworth Gold handed Southworth Black it's only loss of the year so far in game #1 of the day. Hunter Scruggs (2020 C, Papillion, NE) and Zane Harris paced Southworth Gold with 5 hits a piece. Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) was 4-7 for Southworth Black and Trevor Barajas added 3 hits and a HR for the losing team. His 16 HR lead the country.

- Southworth Black, coming off their first loss crushed the ball in the first inning, exploding for 5 runs and didn't look back the entire game. Every player on Southworth Black 16U went deep in this one with Trevor Barajas going for 2. Trey Frahm (2020 SS, Elkhorn, NE) had 2 RBI and Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) had 5. Garrett Anglim (2020 3B, Lavista, NE), Jaxon Worley (2020 1B, Kearney, NE) and Zane Harris had 4 hits a piece for Southworth Gold with Zane adding a HR. Southworth Gold is now 5-3-1.

Southworth Green 16U - 9  Southworth Purple 16U - 2
- Southworth Green picked up the doubleheader sweep of Southworth Purple 16U on Sunday in Omaha. Max Anderson (2020 SS, Omaha, NE)  had 5 hits for Southworth Green and drove in 3 RBI while each of his teammates added 4 hits a piece in the complete team win. Southworth Purple jumped out to a 2-0 ead in the first put didn't score again in the loss. Caden Eby and Tyler VanDerwerken (2021 C, Bellevue, NE) were both 3-6 in the losing effort.

- Southworth Purple came up just short of the win in game #2 following a 3 run bottom of the 7th comeback for Southworth Green. Southworth Purple raced out to a 7-0 lead and just couldn't hold on in the later innings. Max Anderson (2020 SS, Omaha, NE) had a great game for the victorious Southworth Green team, going 8-10 with 2 HR and 8 RBI. Jackson Brockett (2021 LHP, Omaha, NE) led the losing South Purple team with a 4-7 effort while knocking in 5 RBI.

- Southworth Blue knocked off Southworth Red in an extra inning shootout in the first game of the final doubleheader of the week. Nicholas Sall (2020 OF, Omaha, NE) led the winning Southworth Blue team, going 6-11 with 2 RBI and 3 runs core. Jared Quade (2020 3B, Gretna, NE) and Kaben Steenbock (2021 3B, Omaha, NE) both added 5 hits a piece for Southworth Blue. Southworth Red was led by Jake Renner (2020 2B, Louisville, NE), who was 6-8 in the game. Ethan Hergert (2021 1B, Gretna, NE) hit his first HR of the year in the loss.

- PG Navy 14U moved to 4-1 on the year with this shutout victory over PG Black 14U. Navy was led by McKade Jelinek (2022 RHP, Marion, IA), who was 6-11 with a RBI in this game. All batters had at least 5 hits for PG Navy in this game. For PG Black, Nate Wilson (2022 LHP, Marion, IA) looked impressive in the loss, picking up 4 hits in 7 AB. PG Black dropped to 0-4-1 in the loss.

PG Black 14U - 0  PG Navy 14U - 6
-  PG Navy 14U picked up another shutout win in game #2, scoring 4 runs in the 5th inning to put the game away. Clayton Muszynski (2022 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 7-11 with 3 RBI to lead all hitters in the one. Manning Weiss (2022 RHP, Marion, IA) added another 2 RBI for the victorious PG Navy 14U team. - The second game of the doubleheader was another tie, this one finishing in 10 innings. PG Gold struck first in the 1st inning when Roman Rivera (2023 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) drove in a run in his 3-12 effort in the game. Carson Schenck (2023 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) added 5 hits in 12 AB for PG Gold 14U. John Schultz (2023 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Lane Baxter (2023 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) led the way for PG Royal with both of them picking up 2 hits a piece.

- PG White handed PG Red it's first 2 losses of the season in this double header as 3 teams now battle for automatic bid in the 14U division. Andrew Freeman (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 7-14 with 4 RBI and Parker Smith (2022 2B, Amana, IA) talled 5 hits and scored twice for PG White in the win. Xavier Hummer (2022 1B, Marion, IA) was 7-12 with 2 RBI in the loss for PG Red.

- In game #2 of the doubleheader, PG White prevailed after a 6 run bottom of the 6th to ice the game away. Andrew Freeman (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) again shined, going 6-13 with 4 EBH and 2 RBI. Parker Smith (2022 2B, Amana, IA) led the team in hits with 8 and in RBI with 5. Kenneth Thompson (2022 LHP, Milan, IL) knocked on another 5 hirs and 2 RBI for PG White. PG Red wa lead by Ben Klesner (2023 OF, Marion, IA) and Boston Stoffel (2023 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) in the loss, both picking up 6 hits and an RBI. Both teams are now 4-2 heading into the second half of the season.


14U Division (Bomber's Bunker - Troy, New York)

Bunker Gray 14U - 0  Bunker Red 14U - 1
- The first game of the week for Bomber's Bunker in Troy, NY was a close one, with Bunker Red pushing across a run in the bottom of the 5th for the lone and winning run of the game. Ryan Bates picked up the winning run, and was 3-7 in the game. Blake Baylor (2021 SS, Salem, NY) led the way for Bunker Gray in the loss, going 3-6 in the game.

- Game #2 was an extra ining scoreless tie with both teams unable to get hits with runners in scoring position. Anthony Testo and Ryan Bates both picked up a hit for Bunker Red 14U while Bunker Gray 14U's lone hit came from Blake Baylor (2021 SS, Salem, NY). Bunker Red is now 2-0-4 on the year and Bunker Gray is 0-1-5.

- Another scoreless tie happened in game #3 on the day for Bomber's Bunker. Ty Hernandez (2022 C, Rotterdam, NY) led the way for Bunker White 14U with a 2-6 effort on the day. Derek Paris (2022 C, Lanesboro, MA) was the star player for Bunker Blue, picking up 2 hits as well for the game.

- Bunker Blue and Bunker White had a very entertaining last few innings. Bunker White scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the 5th. Bunker Blue responded in the top of the 6th, pulling even with Bunker Blue after Derek Paris (2022 C, Lanesboro, MA) knocked in Landen Jamula (2022 RHP, Lanesborough, MA).  Bunker White put it away in the bottom of the 6th, scoring a run to take home a 2-1 win. Ty Hernandez (2022 C, Rotterdam, NY)  again led all hitters, this time with 4 hits and an RBI. Damon Mason (2021 C, West Sand Lake, NY) added 3 hits for Bunker White.

- The first game of the week for the Barn Baseball Academy in Manhattan, Kansas was won by The Barn Black 14U over the Barn Black 16U. The Barn Black 14U exploded for 20 hits and scored often. All players had at least 4 hits in this game for The Barn Black 14U. Ryan Erickson (2022 3B, Wamego, KS) led all hitters, going 6-9 in the game with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Avery Brokenicky (2020 OF, Manhattan, KS) was 3-6 for the Barn Black 16U while Eli Schnee (2020 C, Riley, KS) knocked in the team's lone run in a 2-7 effort.

- The Barn Black 14U's bats fell silent in game #2 after picking up 20 hits in the first game. This game, they could only muster up 4 hits as they fell to The Barn Red 3-0. Colby Simkins was 4-10 with 2 runs scored and Trae Haub was 3-10 with 2 RBI to lead The Barn Red 14U. Braden Dinkel (2022 C, Manhattan, KS) had half of the team's hits for the Barn Black 14U, going 2-6 in the loss.

The Barn Black 16U avenged their game #1 loss and the bats woke up as all hitters had at least 3 hits for the team. Dayne Aschenbrenner (2021 C, Manhattan, KS) and Eli Schnee (2020 C, Riley, KS) each had 4 hits in the game with Avery Brokenicky (2020 OF, Manhattan, KS) had 3 RBI to lead the team in that category.

14U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Red 14U - 5  Southworth Black 14U - 3
- Game #1 for the 14U division for Southworth Hitting was very entertaining as Southworth Black pounced on Southworth Red in the second inning, scoring 2 runs. Southworth Red rattled off 5 straight runs to go up 5-1 before Black scored another in the bottom of the 7th, coming up short in their comeback attempt. Chris Park has been impressive all season, this game was no different with him going 6-9 with 4 RBI this game. Ryan Barboza (2021 C, Omaha, NE) tacked on another 4 hits and 2 runs for Southworth Red. Maddux Fleck (2022 SS, Omaha, NE) led Southworth Black, going 4-10 in the game.

- Southworth Black 14U avenged their game #1 loss in this one, blanking Southworth black 5-0. Aiden Rupprecht (2021 1B, Omaha, NE) swung the hot bat for the victors, going 5-9 with 2 EBH and 2 RBI. Ryan Barboza (2021 C, Omaha, NE) and Blake Stanley (2022 SS, Elkhorn, NE) paced Southworth Red, each picking up 3 hits in the loss. Southworth Black is now 5-3 and Southworth Red is 3-5.


14U Division (Pete Rose Hit King Baseball Academy - Katy, Texas)

Hit King Black 14U - 0  Hit King Red 14U - 3
- Hit King Red 14U jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning and it ended up being all they needed as neither team scored again this game. All 3 players, Yianni Stellakis, Nate Gross, and Gunnar Walker had 2 hits and an RBI in the game for the red team. Chance Thurston (2022 OF, Magnolia, TX) and Jace Herford both had 2 hits a piece for Hit King Black as well.

-  Hit King Black 14U came back and won game #2 after falling in game #1. Jace Herford was 3-8 with 2 RBI and a run scored for Hit King Black while Braydon Venters was 3-8 with a run scored. Gunnar Walker led Hit King Red 14U with 2 hits in the loss.

- Hit King White beat Hit King Red 4-2 in a game where Hit King Red raced to a 2-0 lead after 2 innings. Hit King White then scored the next 4 runs and came away with the come from behind victory. Chance Thurston (2022 OF, Magnolia, TX) was 5-8 in the game with an RBI while Lucas Payan was 4-9 with 3 RBI.Hit King Red was led by Gunnar Walker who was 2-8 and knocked in the teams only 2 runs.

- Game #2 was a scoreless tie with neither team being able to string together hits to get a run across. Lucas Payan was 3-8 for Hit King White and Yianni Stellakis was 2-6 for Hit King Red with a double down the left field line.


14U Division (Players Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

NJ Axemen Blue 14U - 8  NJ Edge Red 14U - 2
- In the first game of the week at 14U for Players Edge, NJ Axemen had a great game and showed while they were champions at 12U in 2017. Angel Colon (2022 SS, Hawthorne, NJ) was 5-9 with 3 RBI and Jace Gilligan (2026 OF, Ringwood, NJ) tacked on a 5-8 effort for the winning team. All players had similar days for NJ Red, all picking up 2 hits on the day. Jake Ferrando (2022 RHP, Ramsey, NJ) connected for an RBI double in the 5th inning for NJ Edge Red.

NJ Edge Red 14U - 7  NJ Axemen Blue 14U - 7
- Game #2 looked to be a slugfest, with both teams scoring 7 runs in the first 4 innings in a back and forth battle before being held scoreless for the final 3 innings. Nazier Mule (2022 3B, Paterson, NJ) was very impressive, going 5-8 with 3 RBI and 3 EBH, even connecting on one for a 98.4 exit velo.  Angel Colon (2022 SS, Hawthorne, NJ) tallied 5 hits and 3 RBI as well for the NJ Axemen Blue. For NJ Edge Red, David Laman (2021 LHP, Bergenfield, NJ) and Alex Holberton (2023 SS, Chatham, NJ) were both able to pick up hits, with Laman picking up 3 RBI and Holberton picking up 2 RBI respectively.

- Grit Black 14U picked up another win this weekend, inching past North Bergen Gold 14U 2-0 in game #1 of the double header. Boston Flannery (2022 SS, New City, NY) was 7-9 in the win with an RBI and 2 runs scored with teammate Kevin Jaxel (2022 RHP, Congers, NY) also picking up 4 hits. North Bergen 14U had all 3 players pick up a single hit for 3 total hits on the day.

- Game #2 was a scoreless battle with neither team getting a hit with runners in scoring position. Chad Falcon (2023 LHP, Stony Point, NY) and Kevin Jaxel (2022 RHP, Congers, NY) paced Grit Blac  14U with 3 hits a piece while Michael Laviola (2024 1B, North Bergen, NJ) had 3 hits for North bergen Gold 14U.

- Grit Black 14U snuck past NJ Edge Blue 14U 1-0 to pick up their second win of the day in three tries. Kevin Jaxel (2022 RHP, Congers, NY) was 4-9 and picked up the team's only RBI in the 1-0 win. The run came after Chad Falcon (2023 LHP, Stony Point, NY) singled in the 3rd inning that was followed shortly with a Jaxel single of his own. Gavin Dai (2022 C, Englewood Cliffs, NJ) picked up 4 hits in the game for NJ Edge Blue 14U.

- Grit Black moved to 3-0-1 on the day after picking up a win again here in their 4th and final game of the day. 14U Division (Dothan Baseball Club - Dothan, Alabama)

Dothan Black 14U - 9  Dothan White 14U - 0
- Dothan Black 14U blanked Dothan White 14U to open the week for the Dothan Baseball Club in Dothan, Alabama. Sheldon Ott (2022 LHP, Newton, AL), Jake Smith (2022 SS, Dothan, AL) and Tucker Watkins (2024 3B, Dothan, AL) all picked up 4 hits in the game while Bauer Sharp colled 4 RBI. In the loss, Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL) was 3-5 with a linedrive double to deep leftfield that he crushed fat 90.8 MPH. The win moved Dothan Black to 3-1.

Dothan White avenged their Game #1 loss, crushing Dothan Black 12-1 in Game #2. Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL) went off in this one, going a pefect 9-9 with 7 of those going for extra bases. He littered the warning track all game and eventually connected on a 352 gt HR to left field in the 6th inning. He was also able to pick up 5 RBI in the game. Bauer Sharp was 4-6 with a double to deep leftcenter for Dothan Black.


14U Division (Starters Sports Training- Shakopee, Minnesota)

Starters Blue 14U - 0  Starters Yellow 14U - 2
- Starters Yellow escaped with a 2-0 victory in game #1 of the doubleheader by scoring 2 runs in the 6th inning on a Jacob Ryan (2022 RHP, Carver, MN) single to left center despite getting out hit 13-8. Brayden Ellenberg (2022 1B, Chanhassen, MN), Remi Pye and Riley Thuringer (2023 1B, Shakopee, MN) all picked up 2 hits in the win for Starters Yellow. Aiden Shermak (2023 RHP, Bloomington, MN) was very impressive in the loss, going 4-5, driving the ball right up the middle.

Starters Yellow 14U - 3  Starters Blue 14U - 3
- Starters Blue and Starters Yellow played game #2 to a 3-3 tie with both teams having a 3 run inning. Robbie Traylor and Ethan Barns (2023 C, Bloomington, MN) both picked up 3 hits for Starters Blue 14U. Remi Pye, Riley Thuringer (2023 1B, Shakopee, MN) and Brayden Ellenberg (2022 1B, Chanhassen, MN) were all 3-5 for Starters Yellow. Starters Yellow is now 7-0-1 on the year and stays unbeaten while Starters Blue moved to 3-4-1.

Starters Black 14U - 9  Starters Red 14U - 1
Starters Black continues their hunt for Starters Yellow as they hope to catch and pass them coming down the home stretch.This weekend, they helped their cause, by winning both games. In game #1, they jumped out to a 6-0 lead through 2 innings and later takced on a few more to win 9-1. Session I MVP Kyle Hvidsten (2022 RHP, Jordan, MN) was 6-11 with 2 RBI while all 3 of his teammates, Anthony Kurth (2022 SS, Victoria, MN), Austin Lucas (2022 SS, Jordan, MN) and David Buesgens (2023 OF, New Prague, MN) had 5 hits a piece. Starters Red was led by Carter Krenke (2023 OF, Bloomington, MN), who was 3-5 on the game.

Starters Red 14U - 4  Starters Black 14U - 21
Starters Black exploded in game #2 with 2 innings where they scored 8 or more runs. Kyle Hvidsten (2022 RHP, Jordan, MN) and Austin Lucas (2022 SS, Jordan, MN) were both 8-11 with 6 RBI while Starters Red had a trio of players with 2 hits a piece. Starters Black will face off with Starters Yellow for first place this upcoming weekend.

Starters Orange 14U - 0  Starters Green 14U - 1
- Starters Green scored in the 4th inning to gain a 1-0 lead and it ended up being all they needed as they held Starters Orange scoreless. Joey Krouse led all hitters with 3 hits in 4 AB and a run scored and Cole Sprecher (2023 C, Savage, MN) added a hit and an RBI. Hudson Johnson was 5-7 in the loss for Starters Orange and is now hitting .418 on the season.

- Game #2 was a scoreless tie as both teams struggled to get timely hitting. Hudson Johnson and Grant Brening (2023 RHP, Shakopee, MN) paced Started Orange with 2 hits a piece while Cole Sprecher (2023 C, Savage, MN) and Mitchel Lubansky (2023 RHP, Savage, MN) both picked up 2 hits for Starters Green. Starters Green is now 2-4-2 on the season and Starters Orange is now 1-6-1.


14U Division (Summit Athletic Center- Marlborough, New Hampshire)

Summit Purple 14U - 6  Summit Black 14U - 0
- Summit Purple moved to 5-0 after this weekend and looks to be Summit's respresentative in the 14U National Playoffs. In the first game of the weekend, they took a total team effort to pick up a 6-0 win. All players had at least 4 hits. Tucker Brown led the way with 5 hits and 2 RBI for Summit Purple. Summit Black's Hayden Haddock was 3-6 in the losing effort.

- Summit Purple escaped with the 1-0 victory on Sunday night. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the 3rd inning when Liam Yardley hit a single to right field. A couple batters later was Trevor Heise, who hit a sac fly to bring him in. Liam Yardley had a great game #2, going 5-7 in the game to add to his run scored. Connor Brannon was 2-6 for Summit Black.

- Summit Purple stayed unbeaten after winning the last game of the week, scoring 7 runs through 3 innings to hold off Summit Black. Trevor Heise had 3 RBI and 4 runs scored to add to his 6-12 day while Liam Yardley added another 5 hits in 11 AB and 3 RBI for the total team win. Carson Brannon had yet another solid game despite being on the wrong side of the loss, going 5-7 with a run scored while teamman Kevin Putnam was 2-7 with the team's lone RBI.

The Barn White 12U - 2  The Barn Black 12U - 1
- In the first game of the week for the facility, The Barn White 12U knocked off The Barn Black 2-1 in a game where both teams had a lot of hits but just couldn't manufacture a lot of runs. Kolby Rose (2024 1B, Council Grove, KS) led all batters in this one, going 8-9 to raise his season average to .522. The game was tied at 1 heading into the 7th inning when The Barn White was able to string together a couple hits to score. Mitchel McDaniel (2025 C, Council Grove, KS) led the way for The Barn Black with 4 hits.

- The Barn Black got revenge in the second game of the doubleheader while shutting out the Barn White 12U by a score of 3 to 0. Drew Buchman (2025 OF, Council Grove, KS) picked up 5 hits and an RBI in the win while Mitchel McDaniel (2025 C, Council Grove, KS continued his hot play from game #1, knocking in 2 of the teams RBI's and scoring a run. The Barn White 12U had the same amount of hits as the Barn Black but still fell despite the fact. Benny Underhill (2025 C, Junction City, KS) was most impressive in the losing effort, going 3-7 with a line drive double to the left-center gap.

- Being the first game of the season for both of these teams, one would expect a low scoring game as both teams acclimated to the play. That was the case here as the Barn Orange and Purple played out a scoreless tie to start the year. Ryan Vikander led all hitters going 4-6 in the game and Colten Tadtman added a couple hits for the Barn Orange.

- The Barn 12U and the Barn Red 12U also played to a scoreless tie. Luke Ethridge was 2-6 for The Barn Purple 12U to lead all batters. The Barn Purple 12U plays Orange and Red again on Friday.

- Another close game was The Barn Red 12U and The BArn Orange 12U. Colton Wight was very impressive for The Barn Red 12U despite his team's loss, going 4-7 on the day, dropping line drives to shallow left and left-center. The deciding run was scored by Ryker Zoeller in the bottom of the 5th when Drew Becker connected for a single in one of his 3 hits in the game. The teams will have a rematch on Friday.

The Barn Black 12U - 3  The Barn White 12U - 2
- Playing out another nail-biter, The Barn Black escaped with a 3-2 victory over The BArn White 12U on Monday evening. Mitchel McDaniel (2025 C, Council Grove, KS) again had a great game, knocking in 2 of the team's runs in the 6th inning while picking up 3 hits over the course of the game, including one to deep left center. Hayden Buttrey added 3 hits and an RBI in the win for The Barn Black 12U.  Kolby Rose (2024 1B, Council Grove, KS) (4-9)and  Benny Underhill (2025 C, Junction City, KS) (6-8) combined for 10 hits for The Barn White 12U in the losing effort.

After another game where neither team could muster up any runs, both teams moved to a 3-2-1 record on the season. Drew Buchman (2025 OF, Council Grove, KS) picked up 4 of his team's 7 hits while Benny Underhill (2025 C, Junction City, KS) led the way for The Barn White 12U, picking up 3 of his team's 7 hits.


12U Division (South Jersey Bullpen - Mickleton, New Jersey)

SJB Blue 12U - 0  SJB Black 12U - 13
- SJB Black exploded for 5 runs in the first inning of this one and didn't take their feet off the gas as they ended the game with a combined 13 runs and 19 hits. Jared Dzierzgowski was 6-9 with 6 RBI and 3 extra base hits and Corey Lyle (2023 RHP, Mantua, NJ) added 5 more hits and 4 RBI as they took home the convincing win. Luke Hinkle and Nick Matteo both were 3-6 with an extra-base hit in the loss.

SJB Black 12U - 6  SJB Blue 12U - 0
- SJB Black finished the sweep in game 2 of the doubleheader, winning 6-0, again getting off to a hot start scoring 3 runs in the first inning. Jared Dzierzgowski had another very impressive game, going 7-9 with 3 EBH while Corey Lyle (2023 RHP, Mantua, NJ) added 5 more hits and 3 RBI. SJB Blue will continue play next week against SJB Orange.

SJB Orange 12U - 0  SJB Grey 12U - 2
- SJB Grey 12U snuck away with a 2-0 victory in game #1 of this doubleheader, stringing together 4 straight hits in the 2nd inning to score 2 runs. That would be all they need. Zach Reich (2024 1B, Somerdale, NJ) was 4-5 with an RBI for SJB Grey in the win while teammate Nick Burns (2023 1B, Mt Ephraim, NJ) was 3-6 with a run scored. Sal Marziani was 3-5 for SJB Orange 12U in the losing effort.

SJB Grey 12U - 6  SJB Orange 12U - 9
- SJB Orange avenged game #1's loss in the doubleheader, winning a slugfest 9-6. They got off to a hot start, racing out to a 4-1 lead after the 1st. SJB Grey tacked off 2 in the second and 3 in the 3rd to take a 6-4 lead but that would be all for them this game. SJB Orange scored 1 in the fourth to draw closer, making it 6-5 before they scored 4 in the 5th to put away SJB Grey for good. Zach Reich (2024 1B, Somerdale, NJ) was 5-7 while Aaron Wright (2023 RHP, West Deptford, NJ) was 3-8 while knocking in 3 RBI for the losing SJB Grey team. SJB Orange got the win behind a strong team effort where all players had at least 3 hits. Charlie Kind was most impressive, going 4-7 with 5 RBI.


12U Division (Player's Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

NJ Axemen Blue 12U - 5  NJ Edge Blue 12U - 4
- Both games of this doubleheader went down to the wire with both games being decided by 1 run. In game #1, NJ Axemen Blue 12U was victorious, beating NJ Edge Blue 12U by a score of 5-4. Andrew Fierro (2024 3B, Bloomingdale, NJ) led the way for the Axemen, going 4-7 with 3 EBH, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Luke Monico (2024 SS, Ramsey, NJ)
added 3 hits, 1 being for extra bases to the right-center gap and an RBI for the Axemen. In the loss, Brandon Rivas was 8-14 with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored for NJ Edge.

NJ Edge Blue 12U - 7  NJ Axemen Blue 12U - 6
- Another tight game, NJ Edge Blue 12U was able to pick up the win in this one by a score of 7-6, scoring 2 runs in the final inning. Luke Monico (2024 SS, Ramsey, NJ) was again very impressive, this time in a loss, going 5-8 with 2 extra base hits and 3 RBI. He is now hitting for .455 on the year with 11 RBI.  Michael Delpome (2023 3B, Emerson, NJ) added 4 runs, 2 RBI and 3 runs for NJ Axemen Blue. In the win, Sebastian Rivas was 9-16 for NJ Edge Blue, while picking up 5 EBH and 4 RBI.


12U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Black 12U - 12  Southworth Gold 12U - 5
- Southworth Black 12U race off to a 5-0 lead and didn't take the foot off the accelerator as they ran away with a 12-5 victory on Saturday. Joey Senstock was an incredible 10-11 with 4 EBH, 6 runs scored and 5 RBI. Troy Peltz tacked on another 6 hits, 4 runs and 4 RBI for Southworth Black. Southworth Gold mounted a middle inning comeback, scoring 5 runs in the 3rd-5th innings. Cody Cizek was 7-9 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI for the losing Southworth Gold team.

Southworth Green 12U - 8  Southworth Purple 12U - 4
- This doubleheader didn't disappoint with both teams taking a game in the series. Southworth Green 12U took the first game 8-4 following a 7 run explosion in the 4th inning. Kalvin Janssen led the way for Southworth Green 12U, going 8-11 with 6 EBH, 4 RBI and 4 runs scored. Karson Skokan added 3 RBI for the winning team. Picking up a nice game in the loss, Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) was 6 of 10 and drove in 2 RBI.

Southworth Purple 12U - 1  Southworth Green 12U - 0
- This next game didn't have as many fireworks as the first, with both teams struggling to get runs across the plate. The eventual winning run was scored int he 2nd inning when Sam Kassmeier (2025 1B, Lincoln, NE) was knocked in by Carter Zavala (2024 2B, Lincoln, NE) . Seth Berry, however, led all hitters that game going 4-10 for the victorious Southworth Purple 12U team. Kalvin Janssen again was the star for Southworth Green, going 4-8 in the game. He is now hitting an even .400 on the season.

Southworth Blue 12U - 3  Southworth Red 12U - 5
- The Tanner Peterson (2025 RHP, Lincoln, NE) led Southworth Red 12U mounted a great comeback to take game #1 of the doubleheader against Southworth Blue this week by scoring 4 runs in the 5th inning. Peterson himself was 5-9 with 4 RBI that game while Marcus Hankins tacked on an additional 3 hits and 2 runs scored. Greyson Bogdanovich (2025 2B, Lincoln, NE) was 5-9 with an RBI in the loss.

Southworth Red 12U - 3  Southworth Blue 12U - 6
- Buddy Otto and Brayden Jorges led the way in game #2, with both of them picking up 5 hits in the 6-3 win. Greyson Bogdanovich (2025 2B, Lincoln, NE) picked up another 5 RBI in the game while Tanner Peterson (2025 RHP, Lincoln, NE) again led Southworth Red with 6 hits in 10 AB.

- Hit King White 12U exploded for a HUGE 3rd inning in this game to win 13-1 on Sunday in Katy. All players had huge games gathering at least 6 hits. Jackson Hamilton picked up 7 RBI in the 3rd inning and scored another 5 runs. Tyler and Travis Berra both had 6 hits for Hit King Red 12U in the loss with Tyler Berra also picking up the team's lone RBI, knocking himself in in the last inning.

- Hit King White 12U scored 2 runs in the top of the 1st in game 1 and that is all they needed as they snuck away with the victory to complete the sweep. Nolan Gross was 5-11 with a run and an RBI and Jackson Hamilton was 4-10 with a run and RBI in the win. Tyler and Travis Berra once again led the way in the loss, both coming away with 4 hits.


12U Division (Dothan Baseball Club - Dothan, Alabama)

Dothan White 12U - 1  Dothan Blue 12U - 4
- Dothan Blue 12U raced out to a 3-0 lead through 2 innings and hung on for a 4-1 win in the first game of the week. Leading the way was Win Brock (2024 OF, Dothan, AL) who was 4-5 with 2 RBI and Rhett Shiver who also picked up 4 hits and an RBI of his own. Jaxxon Davis was impressive in the win, picking up 3 hits including a flyball triple to deep left.

- Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) continues to be on a tear and is putting together one of the most incredible seasons in PGNIL history. This game was no different as he went 7-8 with 3 RBI in the 18-0 win for his Dothan Black team. Adam Boyd added another 4 hits and 5 RBI for Dothan Black. - Game #3 was an incredible back and forth game that ended on a walkoff win for Dothan Black 12U. Adam Boyd led all batters in the win, picking up 6 hits while Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) and Bryson Brookshire both added 5 hits a piece. In the loss, Harrison Hicks was 6-9 and drove in 7 RBI.

Dothan Blue 12U - 23  Dothan Black 12U - 11
- Another scoring matchup, this time on Monday night. Dothan Blue jumped out to a demanding 15-1 lead after 2 1/2 innings and held on for a 23-11 win. Rhett Shiver had 10 hits for Dothan Blue 12U while Gabe Glover drove in 9 RBI on 5 Extra Base Hits. Jacob Sanchez (2023 SS, Slocomb, AL) was 4-7 and drove in 3 runs with 3 EBH in the losing effort. These two teams will be entertaining to watch as they jockey for the playoffs and they both score a lot of runs.

Dothan Black 12U - 21  Dothan White 12U - 3
- Nearly all players for Dothan Black played a key role in this blowout win. Tucker Watkins (2024 3B, Dothan, AL)  was 8-9 with 6 RBI, Bryson Brookshire had 7 hits and a HR,Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) added another 7 hits and Adam Boyd knocked out his 1st HR of the year. Cade Kirkland led Dothan White with 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Dothan White 12U - 6  Dothan Blue 12U - 10
- In the final game of the week, Dothan Blue moved to 5-3 on the year , beating Dothan White 12U. Gabe Glover was 8-9 with 3 RBI in the win and Rhett Shiver added 6 hits and 3 RBI. In the loss, Cade Kirkland was 3-6 with 3 RBI.


12U Division (Summit Athletic Center - Marlborough, New Hampshire)

Summit Blue 12U - 2  Summit Orange 12U - 0
- In the first game of the week at the Summit Athlet Center, it was all Summit Blue 12 in the 2-0 shut out. Nolan Gillis led all hitters, going 3-5 with an RBI. Joel Beard (2023 1B, Keene, NH), Vinnie, and Luke Weber (2023 OF, Keene, NH) all added a hit for the victors as they improved to 5-0-1 on the year.

Summit Red 12U - 0  Summit Orange 12U - 0
- A scoreless tie was the result in game #2 of the week as Summit Orange moved to 2-2-2 and Summit Red moved to 0-4-2. Brock Haynes (2025 RHP, Sullivan, NH) was 2-5 with a crushed 3B in the 1st inning for Summit Orange. Summit Red was led by Mitchell Cormier (2023 SS, Walpole, NH), who was 2-5 with two line drives to left.

Summit Blue 12U - 4  Summit Red 12U - 2
- Summit Blue moved to 6-0-1 on the year following the come from behind win here to end the week. Vinnie was 3-6 with 2 RBI and 2 EBH and run scored in the win while teammate Joel Beard (2023 1B, Keene, NH) added another 3 hits, a run and and RBI. Mitchell Cormier (2023 SS, Walpole, NH) was 3-6 with 2 EBH and an RBI in the loss.


12U Division (Perfect Game Headquarters - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Black 12U - 1  PG Navy 12U - 3
- The PG 12U division has been wildly entertaining and close all year. Any team can pick up a win against anyone in this division on any night depending on who is swinging the hot bats. Jaden Marcus (2B, Anamosa, IA) led all batters for the losing PG Black team, going 3-6 on the night while Colin Moyle (2025 1B, Fairfax, IA) added 2 hits and an RBI. For the victors, PG Navy was led by Logan Miller (2025 C, Hiawatha, IA) who was 5-10 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.

PG Navy 12U - 3  PG Black 12U - 0
- The PG Navy 12U team stayed in first place with the second win of the night here. Logan Miller (2025 C, Hiawatha, IA)  led the way for the victorious PG Navy team, going 7-11 with 2 RBI and a run scored while Tait Tierney (2025 SS, Fairfax, IA) and Jaden Marcus (2B, Anamosa, IA) l both picked up 2 hits a piece in the losing effort for PG Black 12U.

PG White 12U - 1  PG Orange 12U - 3
-  PG Orange stayed in the playoff hunt with a 3-1 victory over formerly first place PG White 12U on Monday night. Josiah Hale (2024 C, Ely, IA) led all batters in the game with 4 hits in 9 AB while Lawsin Sinnwell (2024 RHP, Solon, IA) had 2 hits and 3 RBI for PG Orange. PG White was led by Colin Bentley (2025 SS, Mount Vernon, IA) who was 3-9 in the loss.

PG Orange 12U - 2  PG White 12U - 3
- PG White 12U came from behind to win 3-2 and move into 2nd place and a 5-3 record after this game. Miles Francois (2024 1B, Mount Vernon, IA) picked up 2 big RBI in the win on 5 hits, while Colin Bentley (2025 SS, Mount Vernon, IA)  was 6-10 with an RBI and run scored. Lawsin Sinnwell (2024 RHP, Solon, IA)  again paced all hitters on PG Orange, going 4-9 in the game with a run scored. PG Orange now sits at 4-4 heading into the final 2 weeks.

12U Division (The Bomber's Bunker - Troy, New York)

Bunker Blue 12U - 3  Bunker Red 12U - 3
- Bunker Blue nearly picked up it's first win of the year in this game, scoring 3 runs in the 4th inning to take a 3-2 lead before Bunker Red scored 1 in the bottom half of the same inning to tie. No runs were had the rest of the game as the teams played to a tie. Nico Desanto (2023 RHP, Colonie, NY) looked most impressive, going 6-10 in the game with 3 EBH and an RBI for Bunker Red. Elijah Davis (2023 OF, Valatie, NY) and Joe Hunter (2024 IF, Troy, NY) both had solid games for Bunker Blue, picking up 4 hits and 3 hits respecively. Joe Hunter (2024 IF, Troy, NY) also had 3 RBI in the 4th inning to bust the game open.

Bunker Blue 12U - 0  Bunker Red 12U - 7
- The Bunker Red team picked up it's 5th win of the year in this contest and as highlighted by the facility's first HR at the 12U level. Nico Desanto (2023 RHP, Colonie, NY) crushed a first inning HR to right-center and finished the game with 6 hits and 4 RBI in the win. Jordan Juliano (2024 C, Albany, NY) was also impressive, going 5-9 with 2 RBI. Bunker Blue was plagued by poor timing on their hitting, nearly outhitting Bunker Red in the loss (12-10). Daniel McCue (2024 2B, Troy, NY) was 5-9 for the Blue team in the losing effort.

18U Division (Perfect Game Headquarters - Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

PG Navy 18U - 2  PG Maroon 18U - 3
- PG Navy and PG Maroon went to the extra innings to decide this one with PG Maroon eventually pulling out the W. PG Navy scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th but couldn't hold on as PG Maroon scored 1 run in each of the remaining innings to win. Lincoln Riley (2019 SS, Marion, IA) was 5-11 for PG Navy with a run scored and an RBI while Matt Martin (2019 OF, Mount Vernon, IA) was 9-16 with 3 RBI for the winning team.

PG Maroon 18U - 5  PG Red 18U - 2
- PG Maroon started out scoring 4 runs in the first 3 innings and held on to win 5-2 over PG Red on Saturday. Tyler Elliott (2019 2B, Mount Vernon, IA) was 12-18 in this second game of the double header with 3 RBI while Blair Brooks (2018 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 4-7 with a runs cored and an RBI for PG Red 18U. PG Maroon is now 6-2 on the year.

- PG Navy picked up a come from behind win to stun PG Red in the bottom of the 7th. PG Red was up 2-1 heading into the bottom of the 6th before PG Navy scored a run in each of the final 2 innings. Patrick McGinn (2019 MIF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 6-11 with 2 RBI for the victorious PG Navy team and Mitchell McAllister (2019 2B, Marion, IA) was 3-6 to lead PG Red 18U.

- PG Black stayed undefeated over the weekend, picking up wins over PG GOld and PG Royal. The highest scoring team in the country scored 12 runs in game #1. Led by reigning 18U MVP Konstantinos Papazoglou (2019 C, Fairfield, IA) who was 7-11 with 3 HR and 7 RBI in game 1, they look like the team to beat come playoffs. Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) added 6 hits and an RBI for PG Black in game #1.

PG Royal 18U - 0  PG Black 18U - 25
-  PG Black kept things rolling in game #2 with a 25-0 win over PG Royal. Alex Greene (2019 3B, Marion, IA), Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) and Michael Weiss (2019 2B, Marion, IA) all had 9 hits in 13 AB's for the team with Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) adding a HR and 9 RBI in the game. They are now a perfect 8-0 heading into the home stretch.

PG White 18U - 6  PG Green 18U - 7
- PG Green mounted an incredible comeback in this one. Entering the 7th inning down by 4 runs, PG Green scored 5 runs in the 7th to stun PG White. Zakary Packingham (2018 1B, Hiawatha, IA) was 4-9 with 5 RBI in the game. Kyle Arends (2019 C, Alden, IA) and Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA) both had 3 RBI in the game for the losing PG White team.

PG Green 18U - 13  PG Silver 18U - 9
- PG Green completed the sweep over the weekend with a win over PG Silver 18U. Zakary Packingham (2018 1B, Hiawatha, IA) again led PG Green with 6 hits and 6 RBI. Nick Saathoff (2018 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Lane Thole (2018 C, Hiawatha, IA) also picked up 6 hits. For PG Silver, Kale Rose (2021 2B, Alburnett, IA) was 6-9 with 3 RBI.

PG Silver 18U - 6  PG White 18U - 3
- PG Silver handed PG White it's second loss of the weekend and hurt their chance for the playoffs. Keaton Parker (2019 RHP, Palo, IA) was 6-9 to lead PG Silver while Kale Rose (2021 2B, Alburnett, IA)  tallied 4 RBI. Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA) was 5-10 with an RBI in the loss for PG White 18U, who is now 5-3.


16U/18U Mixed Division (Players Edge - Wayne, New Jersey)

- NJ Axemen Blue 18U stayed unbeaten in this first game, scoring 11 runs in the game. Daniel Cowles (2020 1B, Colts Neck, NJ) was 9-24 for PE Red with a HR and 7 RBI. Devyn Fahnestock (2019 RHP, Matamoras, PA) had 2 HR and 7 RBI for NJ Axemen Blue while Steven Rabe (2019 C, Byram Township, NJ) added 11 hits in 14 AB.

- DSA Royal snuck past DSA Royal in the 1st game of 15 for the day for Diamond Sports Academy in Grimes, Iowa. DSA Royal led 2-0 and held on just long enough as DSA Gold was only able to score 1 in the top of the 7th. Kolin Perez led DSA Gold in the losing effort, going 4 of 6 with the lone RBI in the game. Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA) hit a double and a triple while going 5-9 in the game, picking up both of team's RBI.

DSA Royal - 9  DSA Gold - 0
- Game #2 of the triple header wasn't as close as DSA Royal ran away from DSA Gold, winning 9-0. DSA Gold had 3 players tie for the team lead in hits with 2 in this game. Samuel Nicolino (2020 C, Des Moines, IA) paced DSA Royal with 7 hits while Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA) and Alex Pendergast (2020 SS, Des Moines, IA) picked up 4 RBI a piece.

- Game #3 of the triple header was another nail biter won by DSA Royal, moving them to 3-0 on the weekend. Drew Dykstra shined in the loss for DSA Gold, going 6 for 7 and picking up 2 RBI. For the victorious DSA Royal, Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA) again stood out, going 5-9 with 2 RBI and double to dead center.

DSA Pink - 11  DSA Purple - 4
- Tied after 3 innings, DSA Pink pulled away after that scoring 7 runs in the final 4 innings. Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was 9-12 with 3 RBI and 4 EBH in the win while teammate Ben Dekruyf (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) went deep twice in the game and picked up 8 RBI. In the loss, Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) hit two HR's and picked up all 4 of the team's RBI.

- DSA Purple's game #1 loss in the tripleheader was avenged in game #2 with both teams hitting the ball well. All 4 players (Evan Borst (2021 MIF, Prole, IA), Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA), Derek Einertson (2021 OF, Norwalk, IA) and Brandon Chapman (2020 C, Norwalk, IA)) had 8 hits for DSA Purple. Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) continued to crush the ball, with another 2 HR in this game and 9 RBI. Ben Dekruyf (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was 7-11 with 4 RBI and Casey Steen (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was 6-11 with 6 RBI to pace DSA Pink.

- The bats for DSA Purple fell silent after the game #2 outburst, only scoring 3 runs after the 20 run effort. Ben Dekruyf (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) and Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) were solid in game #3, each picking up 8 hits with DeKruyf tacking on a HR and 8 RBI. . Aiden McGee (2021 OF, West Des Moines, IA) added yet another HR in a 4-7 showing.

- DSA White and DSA Orange played a close game #1 of their tripleheader with DSA Orange evenutally scoring the winning run in the game's 6th inning. In the 6th, Mason Heckman knocked in the winning run and was 3-6 in the game. Kade Von Der Linde (2020 2B, Des Moines, IA) and Will Tyler (2020 3B, Des Moines, IA) paced the losing DSA White team, both going 3-7 in the game.

- Game #2 was much like game #1 with DSA Orange taking home the win. Kyle Otte had 4 hits in 7 AB's for DSA Orange while Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA) knocked in 2 RBI in the win. DSA White was led by Truin Hawk (2020 C, Urbandale, IA) and Kade Von Der Linde (2020 2B, Des Moines, IA) who picked up 3 hits a piece for the losing team.

- Game #3 had a lot more intensity as DSA jumped out to a lead after a 3 run 5th inning. The lead however was short lived as DSA Orange answered with 2 runs of their own to win 4-3. Truin Hawk (2020 C, Urbandale, IA) and Kade Von Der Linde (2020 2B, Des Moines, IA) again led the way for DSA White with 3 hits a piece while d Will Tyler (2020 3B, Des Moines, IA) led the team with 3 RBI after he hit a bases clearing double in the 5th. Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA) and Kyle Otte both had 5 hits for the winning DSA Orange team.

- Game #1 was a fun back to forth battle that was eventually won by DSA Silver in the bottom of the 7th. Ethan Drown was 5-7 to pace to losing team while Zach Kain led all batters of both teams with 4 RBI. Jack Fuchs (2020 RHP, Urbandale, IA) and Caleb Hews both had 4 hits for DSA Silver while Isaac Boley (2020 OF, Grimes, IA) led the team with 3 RBI.

- DSA Silver won again in game #2, this time shutting out the competition. Isaac Boley (2020 OF, Grimes, IA) and Jack Fuchs (2020 RHP, Urbandale, IA) both had 5 hits to lead DSA Silver in the win with Fuchs also picking up 2 RBI. Zack Kain led all batters on DSA Navy in the shutout loss with 3 hits in this second game.

DSA Navy - 7  DSA Silver - 2
- DSA Navy was able to get a win this weekend by knocking off DSA Silver after dropping the first two games. Colby Wigham (2020 C, Urbandale, IA) had 3 hits to lead DSA Silver in the loss while Jordan Sedivec was 4-6 with 2 RBI to lead DSA Navy to victory.

DSA Red - 5  DSA Yellow - 8
- DSA Yellow and DSA Red played 3 very highly entertaining games on Saturday with DSA Yellow winning 2 of 3. In this first game, DSA Yellow was down 5-3 heading into the bottom of the 5th before scoing 5 that inning. Rece Heinen and Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) had 5 hits for DSA Red with Heinen picking up 3 RBI as well. Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA) and Garrett Purcell paced the victorious DSA Yellow with 4-6 games.

DSA Yellow - 5  DSA Red - 6
- DSA Red bounced back in game #2, winning 6-5 in a highly competitive game that saw 28 hits between the two teams. Josh Neyens led DSA Yellow in the loss with a 6-7 game with 2 RBI. Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) had 4 hits and 2 runs scored for the victorious DSA Red team.

DSA Red - 5  DSA Yellow - 12
- DSA Yellow completed their 2-1 weekend with a win over DSA in the final game. They slowly poured on the 12 runs with consistent hitting throughout. Dillon Kuehl (2022 LHP, Urbandale, IA) had a great game for the losing team, going 6-9 in the losing effor while Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) knocked in 3 runs and Gehrig Christensen (2021 C, Des Moines, IA) knocked in 3 runs. Garrett Purcell and Ty Cowley (2019 OF, Urbandale, IA) were both 6-8 and Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA) knocked in 6 runs for DSA Yellow.

- A scoreless tie in game #2, Summit White and Summit Lightning struggled to get timely hitting to put the other team away. Rafael Rosado was 3-7 and Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH) was 2-7 to lead Summit White. All 3 players on Summit Lightning picked up a single hit in this game.

- Picking up another 2-0 win was Summit Blue 18U. This win moved them to 6-0-1 on the season and it looks like they may be the representative in the playoffs for New Hamphire. Cam Chamberlain, Dan Heise (2018 RHP, Richmond, NH) and Chris Weeks all picked up 2 hits for Summit Blue while 3 players got a single hit for Summit White 18U.

Summit Lightning 18U - 0  Summit Green 18U - 0
- Summit Lightning and Summit Green played to a scoreless tie on Saturday evening with neither team having much success at the plate. Hayden Chandler (2021 2B, Acworth, NH) led all hitters with 2 hits in the game. Both teams are still hunting for their first win of the season and look to get that this coming weekend.

18U Division (Southworth Hitting - Omaha, Nebraska)

Southworth Red 18U - 4  Southworth Black 18U - 10
- Kansas State commit Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) and Jaxson Johnson (2018 3B, Lincoln, NE) continue to be on an absolute tear this season for Southworth Black as they solidify their bid for the playoffs. This game was no different as Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) knocked out 2 more HR and 5 RBI in 8 AB. Jaxson Johnson (2018 3B, Lincoln, NE) was 5-9 with 2 HR and 4 RBI to add to the damage. Nebraska commit Colby Gomes (2018 RHP, Omaha, NE) added insult to injury with a HR and 4 hits in 8 AB. Reilly Kirkpatrick (2019 LHP, Omaha, NE) had a very impressive showing in the loss, going 6-10 with 5 EBH and an RBI.

Southworth Black 18U - 15  Southworth Red 18U - 14
- Getting up 15-0 through 4 1/2, one would think Southworth Red would pack the bags and go home. That did not happen as Southworth Red poured on a run and hit barrage in the final 3 innings scoring 3, 6, and 5 runs in each of the innings respectively. Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) crushed 4 HR's in a 6-10 effort with 9 RBI. Colby Gomes (2018 RHP, Omaha, NE) and Jaxson Johnson (2018 3B, Lincoln, NE) both added a HR for the winning team. Tanner Lukowski (2019 C, Omaha, NE) led Southworth Red in the comeback, hitting 2 HR and knocking in 8 RBI.


18U Division (South Jersey Bullpen - Mickleton, New Jersey)

SJB Orange 18U - 11  SJB Blue 18U - 3
- SJB Orange raced out to a 5 run lead through 2 innings and continuedd to pour it on throughout to win game #1 11-3. Jackson Green (2020 3B, Blackwood, NJ) and Teddy Moos (2020 OF, Berlin, NJ) both had 10 hits for SJB Orange in the win. SJB Blue 18U Justin Szestowicki (2021 MIF, Mount Royal, NJ) led the way for the losing team, picking up 5 hits in 13 AB.

- SJB Blue avenged the game #1 loss and knocked off SJB Orange 18U 7-1 on Sunday. The bats went silent for SJB Orange has Jackson Green (2020 3B, Blackwood, NJ)  was the leading hitter with 2 hits.  Justin Szestowicki (2021 MIF, Mount Royal, NJ) and Ricky Garron (2021 C, Franklinville, NJ) both collected 7 hits for the victorious SJB Blue team. 12U Division (South Jersey Bullpen - Mickleton, New Jersey)

Nick Burns (2023 1B, Mt Ephraim, NJ) - The South Jersey Bullpen kicked off their 12U division this past Friday night, with SJB Grey 12U facing off against SJB Black 12U. SJB Grey picked up the win in the first game 4-0. Nick Burns put together a great game #1, going 4-4 while driving in a run and 2 RBI's. Burns peppered center and right center, topping out at an exit velo of 68.6, ranking him 21st in the country out of 110 players.

Tommy Formisano - Tommy was able to get a basehit in game 2 of the double header while leading his team to a game #2 tie. SJB Black 12U looks to pick up their first win this Friday against SJB Orange.

Joshua Herner (2024 2B, Mt Royal, NJ) - Joshua raced off to nice start to the season, helping pick up 2 wins in a doubleheader sweep of SJB Orange 12U. In the double header, Joshua was  7-12 (.583 average) and knocked in 3 RBI's. In game 1, he knocked a double down the RF line and drove in a run on the play.

Alex Morales - Alex Morales was a bright spot for SJB Orange despite the team's two losses. He picked up the team's only two hits in the double header,  driving a single into the left-center gap in game 2 of the double header.

Spencer Phillips (2025 2B, Omaha, NE) - Southworth Gold 12U moved to 4-0 behind a total team effort this weekend. Spencer Phillips came up big, driving in 8 hits in 15 at bats while collecting 2 RBI's and scoring 4 runs. Spencer was able to drive the ball just over the infield to pick up the majority of his hits as line drive singles.

Joey Senstock - Despite his team's two losses, Joey was able to keep them in games. He was 5 of 8 in the first game, with two of hits going for extra bases and landing just short of the fence. Josh used the entire field in his at bats, driving the ball across the outfield and taking the ball where the pitch allowed him to.

Brayden Jorges - Southworth Blue 12U and Southworth Black 12U split their doubleheader, raising both team's records to 3-1 on the year. Brayden Jorges was the leader of Southworth Blue 12 in this doubleheader, picking up 12 hits in the two games. The effort raised his average to .475 on the season.

Samuel Niven (2025 1B, Lincoln, NE) - Niven was the top performer for the Southworth Black team this past weekend, going 9 for 16 over the weekend. Niven is hitting .486 on the season and his max exit velo of 70.8 ranks tied at 15th Nationally.

Derek Welte - Southworth Red and Green 12U also split their doubleheader this past weekend, both picking up 1-0 wins. Welte did his part in the game 1 loss, picking up 5 hits in 8 at bats, however was stranded often. In game #2, he also played a very instrumental part in the team's win, driving in the winning RBI in the 11th inning for the walkoff win. Welte is tied at 15th in the nation in max exit velo with fellow Southworth 12U participant Samuel Niven, hitting for a max velo of 70.8 mph.

Griffin Goldman - Goldman drove in the eventual winning run in game #1 of Southworth Green 12U v Southworth Red 12U doubleheader. In the 4th inning, Goldman drove a linedrive single up the middle to bring home the run. Goldman is now hitting .375 on the year, topping out at 62.9 as a max exit velo.

Braylon Morris (2025 RHP, Cottonwood, AL) - Braylon's Dothan Grey 12U team went 0-1-1 this weekend, dropping their overall record to 0-3-1 on the season. Morris missed game #1's 3-0 loss to Dothan White 12U but picked up a really solid outing in game #2, going 6 for 10 and driving in 2 RBI's in the tie. Morris had 3 extra base hits in game 2, all 3 going to the warning track in right and left center.

Jacob Sanchez (2023 SS, Slocomb, AL) - Jacob Sanchez picked up 4 runs scored and 2 RBI's in his team's win and loss over Dothan Grey this past weekend. In game #2's 5-5 tie, Sanchez crushed 3 balls for extra bases with 2 3B's and a 2B. His teammates were able to knock him in, allowing him to score 4 times.  Jacob did most of his work up the middle of the field. His max exit velo (75.0) ranks 6th Nationally and his avg exit velo is sitting at 61.4 and places him 9th Nationally.

Win Brock (2024 OF, Dothan, AL) - Brock was the standout performer again this week for his team as they dropped a pair. Game #1 was a high scoring battle, as most expected as Dothan Blue 12U dropped the first game of the doubleheader 10-18 to Dothan Black 12U. In the doubleheader, Win was 10 of 13 in the losing effort. Win is now hitting .618 on the season, ranking him 9th in the Country.

Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) - Grant and Dothan Black 12U have been nearly unbeatable so far this season, with two players hitting over .800 on the season.Grant has been especially lethal, hitting for an insane .900 average with 25 RBI's and 21 extra base hits, all 1st place Nationally. His average exit velo of 68.9 mph also ranks #1 Nationally. If anyone wants to beat Dothan Black 12U, they will have to bring their best game.

Tyler Berra - HitKing Red 12U took home two close 1-0 wins over HitKing White this past weekend. Tyler scored the winning run in game #1 and picked up 11 total hits over the doubleheader. They hope to build on their 2-0 start on Wednesday night.

Drew Ellinwood - Drew's HitKing White 12U dropped both games to start the season and hope to turn it around on Wednesday night. In the first doubleheader of the year, Ellinwood picked up 5 total hits.

Alex Delpha - The Summit Athletic Center kicked off their first season of the PGNIL this past week and had a great set of 12U games. Alex Delpha scored the team's lone run on the weekend for his Summiet Orange 12U team while also picking up a couple hits. His team finished the weekend with an 0-1-1 record.

Mitchell Cormier (2023 SS, Walpole, NH) - Cormier's Summit Red 12U team was a tough luck loser of both of their games this weekend, despite outhitting Summit Orange 12U in game #1. Cormier was 4 of 7 in game #1 , driving the ball across all fields, most of his action being up the middle. They hope to improve on their 0-2 record on Saturday against the same two teams.

Joel Beard (2023 1B, Keene, NH) - Summit Blue 12U looks to be the favorite to come out of The Summit Athletic Center this year. They scored 15 runs over two games behind a good team effort overall. Joel Beard was arguably the most impressive this weekend, going 8 of 11 over two games and drove in 5 RBI's. His max exit velo of 73.7 ranks him 7th in the Country.

Colton Wight - The Barn Red 12U dropped to 0-3-1 on the season following this past weekend. After two close losses, The Barn Red hopes to all put it together at once to get some runs. Wight had a real solid first game, going 3 of 7. Wight pulled the majority of the pitches down the left field line.

Mitchel McDaniel (2025 C, Council Grove, KS) - McDaniel and The Barn Black split their doubleheader on Monday Night, scoring a run in both games. McDaniel drove in the winning run in the 7th inning of their 1-0 win over The Barn Red and picked up 3 hits during the game. He is now hitting .321 on the season.

Benny Underhill (2025 C, Junction City, KS) - Benny led his Barn White 12U team to a doubleheader sweep this weekend, picking up 4 hits in 13 AB's. He also drove in the 2 winning runs in the team's 7th inning in game #2. In game #2, he also had some very timely hitting, picking up another 2 RBI's. He alone was responsible for 4 of his team's 5 RBI's this weekend.

Rocky Yasutake (2024 1B, Solon, IA) - PG Orange put it all together on Monday night, picking up their first wins of the year. Yasutake led the way, knocking in 3 RBI's in Game #2's 4-0 win. Yasutake now has 4 RBI's on the year, leading his team.

Colin Moyle (2025 1B, Fairfax, IA) - Despite his team dropping a pair to PG Orange 12U, Moyle was able to have a perfect 4-4 day in game #2. Colin smoked a ball to the right center gap for a 3B. Colin is now hitting .529 on the year, good for 19th Nationally.

Logan Miller (2025 C, Hiawatha, IA)
- Logan paced his PG Navy 12U team in the doubleheader sweep of PG White 12U. Miller had a very strong outing, going 8-15 in the two wins. He also was able to score 4 runs and drive in another 3 runs. His .552 average ranks him 15th Nationally.

Miles Francois (2024 1B, Mount Vernon, IA) - PG White just couldn't generate any runs despite being able to pick up a solid amount of hits in the double header. They lacked the timely hitting needed to win close games. Miles picked up 7 hits in the double header, including a 5 for 8 games in Game #1. Miles is now hitting .395 on the season.

NJ Axemen White 12U split their 2 games with NJ Edge Blue.  Brandon Hiltz (2023 RHP, Lake Hiawatha, NJ) was 5-12 with 4 RBI in their win and the Rivas twins of Sebastian Rivas 5-9 3 RBI and Brandon Rivas 4-7 paced the Edge Blue

NJ Axemen Red 12U coming off their Fall Championship victory minus reigning MVP Declan Heary went 1-0-1 vs NJ Axemen Orange.  Julian Guerra and Stephen Kubis paced the Axemen Red by going 2-3 each in their win with Guerra having 2 RBI

HitKing Baseball Academy opened play in their 16U division last Thursday night with a 1-0 win for HitKing Red 16U over HitKing White 16U. Avery Sitkowski was 4-10 in the win while scoring the team's only run and with the team's lone RBI. In the loss, Jack Chapman collected a pair of hits for HitKing White.

Game #2 was a tie at 0-0 with both teams struggling to get timely hits. Zach Ellinwood led HitKing White with 2 hits while all 3 players on HitKing Red collecting a single hit in the tied ball game.

The opening game of HitKing Black 16U and HitKing Gold 16U was also a scoreless tie. Jack Johnson collected the lone hit for HitKing Black in game 1, a single to left center. Zach Brunner (2019 1B, Katy, TX) collected 2 hits in the tie for HitKing Gold, both hits being linedrive singles to left field.

HitKing Black 16U picked up the win in game #4 by the score of 1-0. Jackson Johnson had 3 hits in 8 AB for HitKing Black while scoring the team's lone run and picking up the RBI. Dylan Anderson picked up a hit in the loss for HitKing Gold.

Perfect Game HQ continued their 16U season in week #2 with PG Green 16U and PG Navy 16U playing to a 0-0 tie. Braden Hageman (2020 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA)
led all hitters in the game with 3 hits in 8 AB for PG Navy 16U. Drew Schaefer (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) had the lone hit in the game for PG Green 16U.

PG White 16U picked up a 1-0 victory over PG Green 16U in game #2. Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA) picked up 4 hits for PG White and scored the game's only run. Drew Schaefer (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) had two hits in the loss for PG Green 16U.

PG Navy and PG Red also played to a scoreless tie in the 3rd game of the day. Dalton Delay (2021 C, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 3-8 in the game and is now hitting .375 on the year. Tyler Loebel (2020 RHP, Cedar Falls, IA) picked up a pair of hits for PG Red in the tie, one being a 2B to the right center field gap.

PG Black 16U picked up 2 more wins this weekend with the first one being a 4-0 shutout of PG White 16U. Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) led the team with 9 hits and 2 RBI, while also collecting 3 doubles off the left field wall. Kortland Nehring (2022 RHP, Alden, IA) was a bright spot for PG White in the loss, picking up 3 hits.

The final game of the day was a doozy, with PG Black 16U sneaking out a 6-5 win over PG Red 16U. PG Red was up 5-4 heading to the bottom half pf the 7th and scored 2 runs to sneak out the win. Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) again led the team with 9 hits and 5 RBI for PG Black while Joseph Harris (2020 1B, Marshalltown, IA)
was a standout for PG Red, going 4-9 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Southworth Gold and Southworth Purple had a defensive battle in game #1 of their doubleheader with Southworth Purple eventually prevailing 1-0. Harold Urban  was 3-5 for Southworth Purple and drove in the eventual game winning RBI in the 3rd inning. Jaxon Worley (2020 1B, Kearney, NE) led all hitters for Southworth Gold, going 2-5 in the loss.

In game #2 of the doubleheader, the bats really woke up for both teams as Southworth Purple won again, but this time by the score of 13-4. Tyler VanDerwerken (2021 C, Bellevue, NE)
built on an impressive Session II, going 5-8 in this game with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. He is currently sitting 7th in the country in batting average at .536. Hunter Scruggs (2020 C, Papillion, NE) was 6-8 with 3 RBI and a double and triple.

PG Black 16U snuck out a 1-0 win over Southworth Blue in the first game of the doubleheader. Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) led the way for all batters, collecting 5 hits in 7 AB including a double to left center. Jared Quade (2020 3B, Gretna, NE) added a single in the losing effort doe Southworth Blue.

In Game #2, Trey Frahm (2020 SS, Elkhorn, NE) was 4-8 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored in the 10-3 win for Southworth Black. Trevor Barajas added another 4 hits including a HR for Southworth Black. Nicholas Sall (2020 OF, Omaha, NE) picked up 3 hits and 2 RBI in the losing effort.

Southworth Green 16U picked up the sweep on Sunday, beating Southworth Green 4-0 and 3-2. Max Anderson (2020 SS, Omaha, NE) was 4-8 in the game with an RBI and 4 extra base hits. The game raised Max Anderson's average to .355 on the year. Southworth Red was led by Tommy Hook (2021 OF, Omaha, NE), who had 2 hits on the day, including a double.

The final game of the day was a thriller between Southworth Red and Southworth Green with Southworth Green taking the walkoff win in the bottom of the 8th. Josh Senstock (2021 C, Lincoln, NE) drove in the game winning run and finished with 2 hits and 2 RBI on the day. Jared Huscroft was 4-7 with an RBI for Southworth Red in the loss.

18U Division (Dynasty Baseball at The Zone Baseball Academy - Kingwood, Texas)

In Game #1, Zach Rennard led the way for Dynasty Gold in their 9-1 season opening win. Rennard was 3-6 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. For the losing Dynasty Fire 18U team, Logan Roberts led the way, driving in the team's lone RBI in a 2-7 effort.

Game #2 was another win for Dynasty Gold 18U, beating Dynasty Fire 5-1. Haiden Martinez stood out in th second game, taking line drive singles to center in a 4-8 performance. In the game, he was also able to drive in another 2 RBI and score 3 more runs. SPence Mats looked good for Dynasty Fire in the losing effort, going 4-7 with the team's lone RBI and 2B.

Dynasty Ice 18U started the year off with a bang, scoring 14 runs in their first game of the year in a 14-1 win over Dynasty Magenta 18U. In the game, Brody Logsdon was 12-17 while scoring 9 times and driving in 7 RBI. He was also able to crush two double to the right-center gap. His max velo of 94.1 MPH ranks 10th Nationally. Payton Doherty led the way for Dynasty Magenta, going 2-8 with a 2B and the team's lone RBI.

Dynasty Ice snuck past Dynasty Magenta in the final game of the day, winning 7-4. Brody Logsdon again had the most impressive performance for his winning team, going 8 of 16 with 4 runs scored and 4 RBI. Trenton Comstock kept it close and shined for Dynasty Magenta, going 5-9 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

In the first 18U game of the day at PG HQ, PG Maroon knocked off PG Royal 18U to improve stay unbeaten on the year. Matt Martin (2019 OF, Mount Vernon, IA) led the way going 9-16 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Owen Puk (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) led the way for PG Royal in the losing effort, going 3-6 with a double to deep left-center field.

PG White was the victor in game #2 of the day, beating PG Royal 10-1. Colten Bell (2018 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) led the way for PG White 18U in the matchup, going 13-20 with 5 RBI and 5 runs scored. Colten is now hitting .559 on the year, ranking 14th Nationally. In the losing effort, Dane Carstensen (2020 SS, Marion, IA)  was 4-7 with the team's lone run scored.

PG White and PG Maroon both moved to 3-1 on the year following PG White's 6-4 win in game #3 of the day. Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA) was very productive in the winning effort, going 7-17 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. He also picked up three doubles to deep left center field and is now hitting .475 on the year. Tyler Elliott (2019 2B, Mount Vernon, IA)
looked impressive in the losing effort with an 10-18 performance, driving in 3 RBI and scoring 3 runs.

PG Black 18U entered the week as the highest scoring team in the league and did not disappoint as they stayed hot at the plate this week, winning game #1 by the score 10-3 over PG Navy 18U. Reining 18U MVP Konstantinos Papazoglou (2019 C, Fairfield, IA) led the way in game #1 going 7-10 with a HR and 4 RBI. Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) added a HR and 3 RBI for PG Black. Lincoln Riley (2019 SS, Marion, IA) had a great outing for the losing PG Navy 18U team, going 6-8 with a run scored and a well double to the left-center gap. Lincoln is hitting .588 on the year, good for 11th Nationally.

PG Navy 18U bounced back in their second game beating PG Green 6-1. Nathan Skala (2019 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) played a major role in the win, knocking in 4 of the team's 6 runs while going 5-7 at the plate. Anthony Kernwein (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was the most impressive performer for PG Green, going 4-10 with an RBI and run scored.

PG Black 18U won their second game of the day in game #6, winning 16-3 over PG Green 18U. Konstantinos Papazoglou (2019 C, Fairfield, IA) again put on a show, blast 4 HR's and driving in 11 RBI in an 8-9 perfomance in the win. Dylan Schultz (2020 3B, Marion, IA) added a HR and 4 RBI for PG Black. Papazoglou is now hitting an incredible .744 on the year with 6 HR's.

PG Gold 18U picked up it's first win of the year this past weekend with a 2-0 win over PG Red 18U. Mitchell McAllister (2019 2B, Marion, IA) knocked in the two winning runs for PG Gold in the 4th inning and went 9-17 in the game. Iowa football commit Blair Brooks (2018 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) was the leader for PG Red 18U, going 6-15 in the loss.

PG Silver 18U picked up another win Sunday afternoon, beating PG Red 18U 4-0. Keenan Rose (2019 OF, Alburnett, IA) led the way in the first game for PG Silver 18U, going 4-8 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Mark Watters (2018 SS, Marion, IA) was 5-12 in the losing effort for PG Red.

Picking up both wins to move to 3-1, PG Silver was led by Luke Smith (2019 3B, Alburnett, IA) in game #2 for them on the day. He was 6-9 with 2 runs scored in the 3-1 win over PG Gold 18U. The PG Gold 18U team was led by fill in Dane Carstensen, who picked up 3 hits and a run and an RBI in the losing effort.

The Summit Athletic Center kicked off it's 18U division on Saturday with 3 teams playing in a round robin format. In game #1, Summit Blue 18U defeated The Summit White 18U 8-2. Cam Chamberlain led the way for the Summit Blue 18U team, going 8-15 with a HR, 8 RBI and 5 runs scored in the game.  Cam drove many balls to deep left center, accounting for 4 EBH during the game. His avg exit velo of 78.7 ranks 16th Nationally. Summit White 18U was led by Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH), who was 3-7 in the game in the loss.

In game #2, Summit White 18U picked up their first win of the year beating Summit Green 18U 1-0. Joshua Castor (2020 1B, Marlborough, NH) was again the player of the game for Summit White 18U, picking up a pair of hits and driving home the lone run on a near homerun to left-center in the 4th inning. Summir Green was led by Rex Hill (2021 SS, Andover, VT), who was 3-8 in the losing effort.

Hunter Langworty (2019 LHP, North Swanzey, NH) was the star of the final game for Summit Blue 18U. He picked up 6 hits in 13 AB while driving in a run and scoring 3 more in the 4-0 win.  Langworth did a nice job of scattering balls all across the field and took what the pitch gave him in his at bats. In the loss, Hayden Chandler (2021 2B, Acworth, NH) hit over .500, going 5-9. Chandler is now hitting .353 on the season.

In the first inaugural game of PGNIL for the Diamond Sports Academy, DSA Gold 18U was able to get the 3-0 win. Ty Langenberg (2020 RHP, Urbandale, IA) was a perfect 5-5 at the plate in the win and drove in 1 of the team's 3 RBI.  On the year, Ty is hitting .555 through his first 2 games. In the loss, Gehrig Christensen (2021 C, Des Moines, IA) picked up a pair of hits to pace DSA Red.

In game #2 of the doubleheader, DSA Red 18U picked up the shutout win 5-0. Tucker Langenberg (2021 RHP, Urbandale, IA) paced the winning DSA Red 18U team, going 4-7 at the plate and scoring a run. Tucker took a straight up line drive up the middle approach in the win, while maxing out at an exit velo of 77 mph. Grant DeKruyf had the only hit for DSA Gold in the second game.

DSA Royal 18U and DSA Silver 18U played two very close games on Saturday, with DSA Royal winning both games by a single run. In game #1's 3-2 victory, Alec Nigut (2020 1B, Des Moines, IA) led the way for DSA Royal with 3 hits in 8 AB while driving in 2 RBI. Caleb Hews led the way for DSA Silver in the loss, going 3-6 in the game.

In Game #2, DSA Silver jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Jack Fuchs (2020 RHP, Urbandale, IA) knocked in teammate Brice Jermier. On the game, Fuchs was 4-8 in the losing effort. For the victors, Alex Pendergast (2020 SS, Des Moines, IA) had a standout performance, going 5-9 with an RBI with doubles in the left and right centerfield gaps.

Also racing out to a hot start is DSA Purple. They swept DSA White 18U on Saturday and scored a combined 19 runs in the two games. Evan Borst (2021 RHP, Prole, IA) was very impressive for the DSA Purple, going 4-7 at the plate with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored.  He is hitting .462 on the season. For DSA White, Samuel Nicolino (2020 C, Des Moines, IA) shined at the plate while picking up 4 hits in 5 AB.

DSA Purple wasted no time in game #2, scoring a run in the first inning on their way to an 8-0 victory. Nick Stubbs (2020 RHP, Waukee, IA) was a perfect 6-6 in this second game while driving in 4 runs and scoring another. Samuel Nicolino (2020 C, Des Moines, IA) again was the palted of the game for DSA White, going 3-5 in the loss.

Another team starting the season 2-0 is DSA Orange 18U. In game #1 against DSA Navy, Sam Young (2019 RHP, Urbandale, IA) was 3-6 with 2 RBI with a deep double shot to dead center. Ethan Drown was 3-6 in the loss for DSA Navy.

Game #2 also went to DSA Orange by a score of 6-3. Collin Cook (2019 3B, Waukee, IA) was 5-8 for DSA Orange in game 2 of the double header while picking up 3 RBI and a run scored. Cook is now hitting .643 on the year. For the losing DSA Navy, Ethan Drown again as player of the game. He was a near perfect 6-7 with a RBI.

The final doubleheader for Diamond Sports Academy was two very close wins for DSA Pink over DSA Yellow. In the first win (2-0) for DSA Pink, Carter Troncin (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) picked up 4 hits (3 for extra bases) in 6 AB while picking up both RBI in the team's win. The standout performer for DSA Yellow in a losing effort was Kip Cullinan (2019 1B, Urbandale, IA), who was 3-6.

In game #2 of the doubleheader and the final game of the week for Diamond Sports Academy, DSA Pink snuck past DSA Yellow by a score of 4-3. Casey Steen (2018 3B, Urbandale, IA) was impressive at the dish, going 3-6 with 2 doubles, an RBI and a run scored while leading his team to another victory. DSA Yellow 18U raced out to an early 3-1 in the first inning but just couldn't get any more runs across the plate. Ty Cowley (2019 OF, Urbandale, IA) was 3-7 with a run scored in the losing effort for DSA Yellow.

Action at Southworth Hitting continued with their 18U division on Sunday, with Southworth Black 18U picking up two victories. In game #1, Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) continued his tear at the plate. going 6-11 with 3 HR blasts and 7 RBI's. Cameron Blossom (2018 SS, Omaha, NE) added 3 RBI for Southworth Black in a 5-11 performance. For the losing team Southworth Red, Jacob Legleiter (2019 SS, Omaha, NE) had a solid 4-7 performance while driving one to deep left center for a double.

In Game #2, Southworth Black 18U jumped on Southworth Red 18U again by a final score of 12-0. Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) again shined, hitting another 2 HR's and 5 RBI in an 8-13 performance. Phillips now has 12 HR's on the year, which leads the nation by 5. Trevor Stevens (2019 2B, Omaha, NE) was 3-7 to pace Southworth Red.

18U Division (South Jersey Bullpen - Mickleton, New Jersey)

The South Jersey Bullpen kicked off another year of the PGNIL in it's 18U division. SJB Blue won game #1 of the doubleheader with Justin Szestowicki (2021 MIF, Mount Royal, NJ)
being the standout performer for the team, going 4-13 with a run scored in the game. Jackson Green (2020 3B, Blackwood, NJ) was 3-12 for SJB Orange with a double to dead center.

In game #2, Justin Szestowicki (2021 MIF, Mount Royal, NJ) again shined for SJB Blue 18U in their 3-1 win, he was 7-15 at the plate with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Ricky Garron (2021 C, Franklinville, NJ) added another 4 hits and a RBI for SJB Blue. In the losing effort, Jackson Green (2020 3B, Blackwood, NJ) was 5-13 with 4 doubles to right and right center field.

Greyson Bogdanovich (2025 2B, Lincoln, NE) - Greyson shot to a very impressive start to the season, collecting 11 hits in 17 at bats in his team's doubleheader sweep over Southworth Purple. Greyson's average velo ranks in the top 15 at 57.2 MPH.

Cody Cizek - While going 9 of 14 during the doubleheader sweep for Southworth Gold over Southworth Green, Cody put on a show, driving in 7 of his teams 10 runs. He also ranks 8th Nationally in average exit velo to start the season, sitting at 61.5 mph.

Joey Senstock - Josh knocked in 8 RBI's (2nd Nationally) on opening weekend of the PGNIL while collecting 12 hits (2nd Nationally) over 19 AB's. Joey really hit the ball well, hitting for a max exit velo of 71.8 mph (7th nationally). His Southworth Black 12U team collected 2 wins this weekend and is 2-0 to start the season.

Kalvin Janssen - Despite his team losing both games of the double header, Kalvin was a bright spot for his Southworth Green 12U team. He knocked in 2 of his teams 4 runs and picked up 11 hits (T-4th nationally). Southworth Green 12U looks to bounce back next week against Southworth Red 12U.

Seth Berry - Seth had a solid start individually this weekend despite his team dropping a pair. He picked up 5 of his team's 8 hits in the doubleheader loss to Southworth Blue 12U. They will face Southworth Gold this next week and hope to pick up their first wins of the season.

Marcus Hankins - Hankins knocked in 3 of his team's 4 runs this weekend and was 5 for 11 to start the season for Southworth Red 12U. Of the 5 base hits, 4 of them went for extra bases. Despite the effort, his team dropped to 0-2 but hope to bounce back against Souhtworth Green 12U next weekend.

Win Brock (2024 OF, Dothan, AL)
- Dothan Blue raced to a 2-0 start this season, scoring an impressive 19 runs over the 2 games. Win Brock drove in 6 of those runs, while picking up 11 hits in 21 at bat. His 70.1 max exit velo also ranks 11th Nationally. Dothan Blue had a full team effort to pick up the 2 wins this weekend and looks to continue that success this season.

Grant Horne (2024 OF, Midland, AL) - Dothan Black abslutely crushed the ball this weekend, scoring 29 runs over the 2 games. It was a complete team effort, however, Grant Horne probably had the best numbers this weekend. He picked up a team high 12 hits (T-2nd Nationally) and drove in a Nation leading 11 RBI's. He also was impressive in arguably the most important stat from a scouts perspective, the Average Exit Velo, ranking tops in the country at 70.0 MPH.

Austyn Miller - Dothan Grey 12U dropped its first 2 games of the season to Dothan Blue 12U. Austyn, however, had a solid outing, picking up 5 hits in 10 AB's.

Roman Banner (2024 2B, Headland, AL)
- Banner started the year on a high-note despite his team's 2 losses. He was able to pick up 8 hits in 13 AB's and collected 2 RBI's. His top exit velo of 67.4 ranks him 15th Nationally after the first weekend.

Collin McClintock (3B, Fairfax, IA) - McClintock had a team high 5 hits over just 8 at bats to get his season average to .625, which ranks him 9th Nationally. He drove in the team's only 2 runs this weekend as well. The team started out 1-1 and hope to improve that record next Monday against PG Orange.

James Perkins (2025 1B, Cedar Rapids, IA) - PG Navy started the season 1-1 this weekend, picking up a split with PG Black to start the season. With a good team effort from all players, James Perkins probably had the best numbers overall to start the season. He was 9 of 15 with 3 RBI's and 2 extra base hits. They will play PG White next Monday.

Colin Bentley (2025 SS, Mount Vernon, IA) - Colin continued his solid play from Session I and got off to a good start to this Session II. He hit for a team best .500 average and drove in 3 RBI's in a balanced approach at the plate. His average exit velo of 57.3 ranks 13th Nationally. PG White will face off against 1-1 PG Navy next Monday.

Lawsin Sinnwell (2024 RHP, Solon, IA) - Out of Lawsin's 5 total hits this weekend, two of them went for extra bases . Unfortunately, the PG Orange 12U team wasn't able to capitalize on either of those opportunities. Lawsin looked to improve a bit from Session I and looks to have a solid Session II.

Drew Buchman - Drew had a nice start to his season, going 5 for 14 in two tied ball games for The Barn Black 12U. He took a balanced approach driving the ball to all fields in his at bats.

Davis Carson - Davis was a bright spot for The Barn Red 12U picking up 7 hits in 13 plate appearances. His .538 average ranks 14th Nationally and he even scored his team's only run thus far this season.

Kolby Rose - Kolby took a line drive, up the middle approach to go 6 for 14 in his team's win and tie on Monday night. He also picked up both of his team's RBI's in their team's 2-1 win over The Barn Red 12U.

Dalton Bargo (2022 C, Omaha, NE) - Dalton swung a hot bat this past weekend for Southworth Black. In the first game of the double ehader, he picked up 5 hits in 6 AB's and scored 3 runs and knocked in an RBI. In game two, he shined once more, picked up a run scored an an RBI on a 4 for 7 performance. On the year, he is hitting for a .692 average, which ranks 3rd in the Nation.

Ryan Barboza (2021 C, Omaha, NE) - After the first weekend, Ryan is near the top in the Nation in Max Exit Velo, coming in at 92.9 MPH. Unfortunately, the ball was a missle lineout to the shortstop. On the year, Barboza is hitting .529 with 3 extra base hits with 6 runs scored a 1 RBI.

Tucker Watkins (2024 3B, Dothan, AL) - Playing up a division and acting as a fill-in, Tucker held his own and collected 4 hits in his 10 AB's for Dothan Blue, even collecting 3 RBI's in Game #1's 8-0 win over Dothan White. Dothan Blue dropped game 2 of the doubleheader to Dothan Black 14U 18-0 in what looks to be a very competitive division, all teams picking up a win and a loss.

Jaeden Jackson (2023 1B, Dothan, AL) - Playing up a division last session, Jaeden is now playing at the right division and is shining. He had the farthest hit ball at the 14U level, crushing a 348 ft triple to dead center. Jaeden had a max exit velocity at 92.2 MPH (5th Nationally) and an average exit velo at 80.7 (T-3rd Nationally). He was 11 for 25 in his team's doubleheader split.

Jake Smith (2022 SS, Dothan, AL) - Jake had arguably the best weekend of anyone at the 14U level. He was 14 of 20 this weekend (2nd Nationally) in his team's doubleheader split. He lit up the radar as well, hitting at an average exit velo of 85 MPH. His 92.6 MPH max was 3rd Nationally. The Dothan Black 14U team scores a lot of runs and will be tough to beat, scoring 27 in the two games.

Robbie Traylor - Starters Blue needed just 1 run to pick up it's first win of year and start the season at 1-1. In a losing effort in game 2, Traylor picked up 3 hits and drove in the team's only run. He was 4 of 10 on the weekend.

Grant Brening (2023 RHP, Shakopee, MN) - Grant continued where he left off last session, getting off to a hot start going 10 of 15 (.667 average) in the first 2 games. Brening also accounted for 3 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Grant's average exit velo of 71.8 ranks 12th Nationally.

Kyle Hvidsten (2022 RHP, Jordan, MN) - Session I's MVP and National Champion returns to Session II and hopes to continue his torrid play. Although not the start some would think he had hoped for, Hvidsten still had a good start, going 6 of 15 (.400 average) to lead his team to a 1-1 record to kick off the season. Hvidsten topped out at 88.4 mph (7th Nationally) and he averaged 77.6 MPH which was good for 6th Nationally.

Tyus Smith (2023 RHP, Prior Lake, MN) - Starters Green 14U lost a game and tied another to start their season. Tyus Smith was a bright spot, going 3 of 5 in game #1, peppering left field with base hits. Starters Geen will play Starters Yellow next Sunday as they look to pick up their first win of the season.

Sam McCutcheon (2022 RHP, Chanhassen, MN) - Sam led off his PGNIL Session II campaign with a bang, picking up 2 wins and batting .500. He was able to drive in 2 of his team's 4 runs and scored another. Sam's hits were mostly linedrives right back up the middle into shallow center field. Starters yellow 14U will play Starters Green next weekend as they look to stay undefeated.

Charlie Cline (2023 OF, Bloomington, MN) - Charlie's Starters Red team dropped to 0-2 to start the season, losing two games to Starters Yellow 2-0. Starters Red just wasn't able to get timely hitting when they most needed it. Charlie was able to have some solid at-bats however, picking up 3 hits over his 8 at bats.

14U Division (The Barn Baseball Academy - Manhattan, Kansas)

Jack Campbell - Jack raced out to a very hot start this Session for the newcomer Barn Baseball Academy in Manhattan, Kansas. His 14U Black team picked up it's first win of the year behind a well rounded team effort, scoring 9 runs in the process. Campbell had arguably the most impressive game, going 5 of 8 with 3 extra base hits, 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored. His average exit velo of 73.1 MPH places him 9th Nationally.

Ethan Burgess - For the losing Barn Red 14U team, Burgess definitely stood out. He scored the team's only run in the 9-1 loss and was able to pick up 4 hits in 9 at bats. All 4 of his hits were hit right up the middle into shallow center field.

Max Drish (2020 OF, Cedar Rapids, IA) - Drish started the year on a high note, starting the season 13 of 22 over two games. His 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored were also team highs as PG Green started the year 0-2, losing two competitive games. PG Green hopes to pick up their first wins this weekend against 0-1-1 PG Navy 16U.

Zac Stallman (2020 3B, Cedar Rapids, IA) - Zac led Team Stallman to a 2-0 record to start the season, picking up a 6-1 win over PG Green 16U and an 8-1 win over PG Navy on Thursday. He was 13 of 22 and had 5 extra base hits. His 12 RBI's lead the Nation and his average exit velo of 79.1 MPH ranks him 11th in the Country.

Andrue Henry (2020 3B, Dubuque, IA) - Henry continued where he left off in Session I, crushing 5 HR's in the first two games of the season. His 378 ft shot was the farthest hit ball Nation-wide and his avg exit velo ranks 8th in the Country. In his team's two wins, Henry was 10 of 16, with all 10 going for extra bases while driving in 10 RBI's and scoring 6 runs. 

Braden Hageman (2020 2B, Cedar Rapids, IA) - Hageman's PG Navy team starte off the season 0-1-1, struggling to find timely base hits in either game. In the doubleheader, Hageman was 8 of 17 (.471 average) and scored the team's only run, coming in the 8-1 loss to PG Black. The hope to pick up their first wins of the year next week against PG Red and PG Green.

Carter Arends (2022 SS, Alden, IA) - Carter's PG White team was another that struggled to find timely hitting, however they were very close to scoring multiple times this past weekend. Carter had the best game of his team, picking up 10 hits in the double header. They began the season 0-1-1 but look to pick up their first wins this weekend against PG Black and PG Green.

Tyler Palmer (2020 OF, Columbus, NE) - Much like in Session I, Tyler Palmer has crushed the ball thus far in Session I. In the two wins for his Southworth Black 16U team, Tyler combined for 12 hits (9 for extra bases) and 11 RBI's in the two blowout wins. Tyler's max exit velo of 93.2 MPH ranks him 5th Nationally. Southworth Black looks like a major title contender.

Noah Greise (2020 C, Omaha, NE) - Despite the two losses, Noah also continued his hot hitting from Session I, going 6 of 14 in the doubleheader. He scored 3 of his team's 4 runs and had 4 extra base hits. His max exit velo of 92.1 ranks him 8th Nationally.

Jax Brockett - Jax got off to a hot start this season, leading Southworth Purple 16U to a 1-1 start behind a 9 of 15 effort. In the doubleheader, Jax had 4 runs scored and drove in two RBI's. Southworth Purple 16U plays undefeated Southworth Gold 16U in a doubleheader this Sunday.

Nicholas Sall (2020 OF, Omaha, NE) - Southworth Blue 16U starts the season 1-1 following a doubleheader split with Southworth Purple 16U. Sall played a big role in game #1's win, going 3 of 6 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Nico mostly crushed linedrives to left center , collecting two 3B to the left centerfield fence. Southworth Blue plays undefeated Southworth Black 16U this weekend.

Jaxon Worley (2020 1B, Kearney, NE) - Southworth Gold 16U is another team that can score in bunches, scoreing 26 runs in the doubleheader sweep of Southworth Green. Jaxon Worley was arguably the most impressive player, knocking in 9 RBI's and scoring 5 runs on an 8 for 10 performances. His .800 batting average leads the nation as we enter week #2. They play Southworth Purple this weekend.

c Standish (2020 SS, Omaha, NE) - Standish's Southworth Green 16U team dropped both games of their doubleheader to start Session II. Standish however shined while going 8 of 12 while kocking in 3 of his team's 6 RBI's this weekend. He ranks 15th Nationally in average exit velo and is tied for second in average at .667.

Keaton Parker (2019 RHP, Palo, IA - PG Silver 18U started the season 1-1 after two very competitive games. PG Silver has a very balanced attack with all 4 polayers hitting for similar numbers. Parker on the weekend was 4 of 12 while scoring 2 of his team's 4 runs. If this team can get some timely hitting, they can be dangerous.

Ryan Hosch (2018 RHP, Robins, IA) - Hosch is a newcomer to the PGNIL and started out with a bang, going 13 of 20 in his team's split this weekend. Hosch drove in 5 of his team's 11 runs and scored 4 more. His average exit velo of 77.8 MPH ranks him 9th Nationally.

Mark Watters (2018 SS, Marion, IA) - Mark drove in 4 of his team's 11 runs in the doubleheader while scoring 7 runs. He was 13 of 32 in the two games and now boasts a .406 average, ranking him 20th in the Nation. His PG Red 18U team plays against PG Black 18U and PG Navy 18U next week.

Mitchell McAllister (2019 2B, Marion, IA) - PG Gold dropped it's first two games of the season losing to PG Maroon 8-1 and PG Green 2-1. Mitch McCallister led the team in hitting, picking up 7 hits over the two games. He also scored both of the team's runs and even hit himself in during an inning. PG Gold 18U faces off against PG Red and PG Silver this weekend in hopes of picking up their first win.

Tyler Elliott (2019 2B, Mount Vernon, IA) - Tyler Elliott started off the season with a bang, going 18 of 33 in his team's two wins this weekend. Last year, Elliott's team was National runnerups and they look to continue that success this year. As a HS coach's son, Tyler brings a nice fundamental approach to each at bat. Tyler ranks 6th Nationally in average exit velo.

Lane Thole (2018 C, Hiawatha, IA) - PG Green was able to salvage a split this past weekend against PG Maroon and PG Gold. Thole has been a participant in the PGNIL for many sessions and he had a nice start to this second session. He was 6-14 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's this past weekend and hopes to improve on those numbers as PG Green looks to improve on it's 1-1 record against PG Black and PG Navy this upcoming weekend.

Dane Carstensen (2020 SS, Marion, IA)  - PG Royal dropped it's first game of the year in a dramatic fashion, losing on a walkoff to PG Navy after having the lead the whole game before dropping it's second game to PG Black. PG Royal is a group of kids playing up a division and has looked that they may be able to hold their own in the 18U division. Dane led the team thsi weekend, going 11 of 20 with 4 RBI's and 5 runs scored.

Nick Schmucker (2019 OF, Hiawatha, IA) - PG Navy is another team that is really balanced, all players putting up solid numbers in week #1. Nick performed best with RISP, hitting .800 when it mettered the most. Overall, he was 10 of 17 and drove in 4 runs. Despite the high average with RISP, he had 0 RBI's, showing he kept inning going and set up his teammates for mopre RBI chances.

Michael Weiss (2019 2B, Marion, IA) - Weiss and PG Black 18U started the year off with an offensive explosion. They scored a Nation high 33 runs over 2 games. In the doubleheader, Michael was 14 of 21 with 10 RBI's and 10 Runs scored. He currently ranks in the top  5 in the country in average, runs, hits and RBI's.

Dylan Phillips (2018 1B, Omaha, NE) - Phillips was an absolute monster to start the season. He crushed 7 HR's in his first two games and has his eyes set on the single season record of 20. Dylan and his team scored 32 runs in the two games and look to be a National Title contender. In the doubleheader, Dylan was 12 of 17 with 13 RBI's and 12 runs scored. He also ranks 2nd in Max exit velo and 1st in average max velo.

Trevor Stephens - Trevor got off to a nice start individually, going 5 for 11 at the dish over two games. He also was able to score 2 of his team's 4 runs on the day and collect an RBI. He currently is tied for 18th in the Country in avg exit velo, sitting at 74.1 MPH.
