Mauro Baustamante (2019 SS, Helotes, TX) creates nice bat speed with the help of a big but well controlled shift into contact. The ball came off the right handed hitter's barrel hard and frequently.
Adam Brauch (2020 SS, Waukee, IA) had a very different approach at the plate than Baustamante, with a very spread bent knee stance with a limited lower half shift but has quick hands and created good bat speed and drove the ball to all fields with some carry.
Beckett Vine (2020 C, Houston, TX) has strong and quick hands for his age with a calm and simple hitting approach that gets coiled and ready to explode well. There are lots of good things happening in this swing and Vine should keep getting better with experience and physical maturity.
Jacob Sifuentes (2019 RHP, Austin, TX) is a primary right handed pitcher but he's a very strong young man who can drive a ball hard to the pull side as a left handed hitter. He was the only hitter on the day to hit multiple home runs during his round.
Bryce Yosko (2019 SS, Spring, TX) hits with lots of effort that will need to be toned down in games but he's able to create lot of right handed bat speed as well, especially when he stays back on a pitch and waits on it.
Hamilton Anderson (2019 C, Columbia, IL) has nice hitter's hands with a well controlled swing and made consistent hard line drive contact to the middle of the field and pull size. He gets his bat speed from his big 6-3/208 frame.
Ian Bahn (2020 OF, Shoreview, MN) is a big and athletic young man from Minnesota with bat speed from both sides of the plate. His left handed swing was especially good but he's a legit switch-hitter with power and barrel control.
Benjamin Greer (2019 OF, Pearland, TX) is another switch-hitter with real bat speed and hitting ability from both sides of the plate. His right handed bat speed was some of the best that we saw all day.
Colton Harrison (2020 OF, Greenbrier, TN) is a very projectable 6-0/150 athlete with a loose swing and the beginnings of some real bat speed. His approach is sound and he should keep improving in step with how much stronger he becomes as he matures.
Garrett Anglim (2020 3B, Lavista, NE) is a very strong right handed hitter for his age with an aggressive pull approach that led to very consistent hard line drive contact. He really got the ball to jump a couple of times when everything came together.
Derek Saenz (2020 RHP, Corpus Christi, TX) is a primary right handed pitcher but he looked like a primary right handed hitter during batting practice, with a strong right handed swing and lots of present bat speed.
Javier Martinez (2019 3B, Fuquay Varina, NC) is a big and strong young man at a listed 5-11/228 but he has a surprisingly loose and athletic swing with a short and quick hand path to the ball and the ability to drive the right centerfield gap.
Gage Singer (2019 3B, Aurora, MO) had some of the best raw bat speed we saw all day, although he will have to work on a big and late hand hitch that will impact his timing more significantly in live game action.
Elias Koury (2019 SS, Katy, TX) has a long, loose and projectable 6-1/165 body and a swing that matches his build. He's another player who will keep improving in step with his ability to get stronger.
Noah Kellum (2019 OF, Leander, TX) has one of those pretty and easy swings that it seems only a left handed hitter can pull off. He needs to get stronger but it's as nice a swing visually as you want to see and he squared the ball up hard to the pull side.
Dakota Britt (2020 OF, Rockwall, TX) is another young left handed hitter with an athletic and projectable 6-0/150 build and an easy and calm swing that is starting to produce some real bat speed now with more potentially there down the road.
