Carson Crowe (2018 RHP, Tuscaloosa, AL) is a primary right handed pitcher with an Alabama commit but one suspects the Crimson Tide also has their eyes at least as much on Crowe's very strong and projectable left handed bat.
AJ Zeak (2019 C, Hanover, PA) has a strong and loose right handed swing that gets good extension out front. He made consistent hard line drive contact to the middle of the field.
Miles Wilkins (2019 LHP, Lawrenceville, GA) had a very nice swing for a young primary pitcher, keeping it very short and direct, then opening it up late and showing lots of carry on the ball. He has a feel for the barrel and can use it.
Tyler Hare (2021 3B, Atlanta, GA) has a nice build for a youngster and develops nice bat speed for his age from a deep hand load and aggressive right handed swing. He definitely will keep improving as he matures physically.
Ethan Cornelius (2018 C, Atlanta, GA) has good present strength like many catchers and puts it to good use with a crisp pull oriented line drive swing that generated plenty of jump off the barrel.
Garrison Price (2018 OF, Oakwood, GA), twin brother Griffin Price (2018 2B, Oakwood, GA) and Patrick Walker (2019 C, Flowery Branch, GA) all attend Buford High School and all shared a very sound common approach at the plate that is very fundamentally sound and repeatable. Walker, given his being a year younger, probably stood out the most in batting practice by a narrow margin but the Buford coaching staff looks like it is teaching a very sound hitting approach at this look.
Tanner Green (2018 OF, Bishop, GA) catches the eye immediately with his very athletic 6-foot-3, 205 build and his raw left handed bat speed. He has a big shift into contact that he controls well and keeps his hands back and ready to drive through the ball.
Harry Ford (2021 C, Kennesaw, GA) is just coming out of the 8th grade but shows some serious quickness and explosiveness in his hands that are really going to serve him well as a hitter in the future.
Michael Goehrig (2018 C, Suwanee, GA) has very good strength for his size and can get the ball to jump off his barrel well, with especially hard contact to the middle to opposite fields.
Kyle Riesselmann (2019 OF, Peachtree City, GA) is all arms and legs now but has serious leverage in his swing and near top of the scale raw power potential when you factor in how projectable his long and slender body is. Keep a close eye on him as he gets stronger.
Luke Hasty (2021 C, Phenix City, AL) is yet another of the talented 2021's we saw this weekend, with very good bat speed for his age and good looseness and extension out front that promises future power.
Sam Kimel (2018 OF, Huntsville, AL) looks like a hitter when he steps into the left handed batter's box and he didn't disappoint in BP, lining deep line drives to both gaps with a smooth and strong swing.
Mauro Jimenez (2018 C, Marietta, GA) has a catcher's strong lower half and he uses it very well in his swing to help generate raw bat speed. He's notably short to the ball with his hands for a hitter with a power approach.
CJ Neese Jr (2019 SS, Greensboro, NC) has a very projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound build and a loose and fast right handed swing driven by a big shift towards his front side that he controls and times well.
Wade Elliott (2019 3B, Edmond, OK) dominated during games but he showed his tools just as well in batting practice with an easy, low effort swing that produced lots of bat speed and plenty of jump on the ball.
Wesley Diamantis (2018 1B, Atlanta, GA) has the strong power approach you'd look for in a 6-foot-2, 210-pound left handed hitter and pulls the ball with authority.
Hayden Stapleton (2020 SS, Greenville, SC) stands out for a 2020 with his strong 6-foot-2, 190-pound build as well has his strength and present bat speed.
