James Gil (2027 SS, Miami, FL) was in the zone from the second he stepped in the batter’s box. The right-handed hitter took a swing at the very first pitch of the game and didn’t miss it, sending a line drive single into right field. He proved to be a gamer in the field as well, showing good actions and feel at the middle infield positions.

Jonathan Reyes (2026 OF, Beverly, MA) proved to have more power than his frame would suggest, as he drove a two-RBI double into deep left field. The right-handed hitter displayed a repeatable swing and utilized a small toe tap trigger that was consistently on time.

Matthew Rosner (2027 RHP, Bethesda, MD) showcased some impressive two-way potential in this one, getting it done on the mound and in the box. He tossed a flawless three innings on the bump, striking out six opposing batters and not allowing a single hit. With the bat, he found all barrel and burned the centerfielder for triple in his first at bat of the day. Rosner is fluid and athletic on both sides of the ball and projects nicely.

Blake Bagwell (2026 SS, Lake Worth, FL) was seeing the ball very well today, collecting two hits in his two at bats. His biggest hit came in the third inning, as he smoked one right back up the middle for an RBI single. The young prospect has hitters hands with a knack for finding the barrel.
