Dolan Maher, C, San Diego, CA (2026) Athletic defender behind the plate.  Good at bat taking aggressive hack with some of the louder contact in game 1.  Moderate leg kick, got foot down on time, squaring up the ball nicely. 

KANNAN VIRGILIO, 2024 C San Diego, CA.  Showed really well behind the dish defensively.  Athletic defender uses modern catching techniques and makes it look easy.  Consistently blocked the ball well, smothering balls in the dirt.  Quick feet and transfer with accurate throws pegging multiple would be base stealers 

Harrison Park, OF, La Mirada, CA (2024) Athletic build with strength in lower half.  Showed bat speed with good rhythm in BP and the swing translated in to game action with multiple barrels to the pull side.  Not a burner, but showed range in the outfield and ability to swipe a bag in game. 

Zander Zuniga, Inf/RHP, Castle Rock, CO:  3 shutout frames for the lean righty, striking out 4.  Stays over the rubber well and gets down hill consistently working the glove side corner.  More velo to come from the lean right-hander

Cooper Rivera (2026 OF, Wildomar, CA) ripped a double down the left field line to start the inning. He presents a strong frame with quick hands and the ability to find the barrel consistently. 

Landon Gaz (2023 1B, Moorpark, CA) showed a great approach at the plate to drive in a run. Landon shows a power approach to all field and the ball jumps off his bat. Landon put one way out to left field for a solo home run, he steps in the box looking to do damage and does not get cheated. 

Jayden Teruel (2024 3B, San Jose, CA) worked an impressive two innings giving up no hits and striking out three hitters. Jayden worked all quadrants of the zone while challenging hitters and throwing a ton of strikes. He shows the ability to field his position and an athletic frame, he topped out at 77mph with his fastball. 

Noah Ruiz (2024 SS, Chino, CA) has racked up two hits in this mornings action. he presents a mature approach in the box with the ability to hit to all fields. He presents strong hands with good bat speed, and finds the barrel consistently. 

AJ Curry (2026 1B, San Diego, CA) ripped a double down the right-field line to the pull-side. He presents good bat speed with the ability to turn on the heater on the inside corners. He shows a strong mature frame with some room to continue to fill out. 

Kanade Honda (2023 MIF, Simi Valley, CA) shows a simple approach at the plate and doesn't try to do to much. He started out the morning with a nice line drive back up the middle, while running the bases and manufacturing a run for his team with his speed. 

Tyson Pettingill (2025 SS, Overton, NV) showed a good quality at bat smoking a double to the opposite field. Tyson lets the ball travel into the hitting zone and shows good bat speed with good extension. 

Adrian Jorge Jr (2025 3B, Victorville, CA) worked a quick and efficient two innings without allowing a hit. he shows the ability to fill up the strike zone and use his defense. Adrain ran his fastball up to 70mph.

Kannan Virgilio (2024, San Diego, CA).  Strong defensive look from Virgilio, athletic defender behind the dish.  Strong look in the box showing bat speed when turned on one for line drive single to the pull side.  

Troy Simmonds, LHP, Costa Mesa, CA (2025). Easy athletic delivery from the left side, big breaking curveball paired well with low 70’s fastball with cutting action.  Landed curveball consistently for strikes showing ability to back door the offering.  

Dylan Arborio, C, Malibu, CA 2025:  Solid look in game from the 2025 backstop.  Athleticism played well.  Showed quick feet and transfer, as well as strong accurate arm throwing out would be base stealer at 3b.

FUTO KAWAMURA, Osaka Japan:  Physical corner outfielder showed aggressive play in the outfield.  Most notably chasing down a ball down the right field line, getting to it quickly and throwing a dime to second base.

Marcus Maeder big physical kid with a loud first AB triple in the right center field gap. There’s ample feel for the barrel with big time strength at impact. Swing is in rhtyhm and extends well to the point of contact. Later came around to score.

Garret Allen, Inf/RHP, Anaheim, CA (2024).  The physical and athletic Allen showcased some enticing tools both in the box and on the mound in Game 1.  The strength was evident when he drove one to left that was knocked down by uncommon gusts in Irvine.  On the bump, Allen showed a nice compact delivery, ran the fastball to 81 showing solid secondaries with a tight curveball up to 2300’s and a tumbling spitter on which he shattered a bat. 

Gamaliel Martinez, OF, Arrowhead Christian Academy Class of 2024.  After registering one of the top outfield velocities at 84 in the workout, Martinez threw a seed to the plate in attempt to gun down base runner.  Showed good carry and a long hop, but the catcher couldn’t handle the throw for the putout. 

Marcus Maeder, RHP, Meadow Vista, CA.  Lean 6’4” frame with plenty of room to fill in.  Attacked hitters with steep downhill angle running fastball to 86 (spin in to 2400’s).  With spin in the 2800’s, the slider was a difference maker showing late action that gave hitters fits.  Struck out the side in first frame of work.  Lost some command later in to the outing, but ended up striking out _6 over 3 frames of work.  

Jacob Magna, RHP, Harvard Westlake High School Cass of 2024.  Physical 6’3” righty, attacked hitters w/ low 80’s fastball and breaking ball 70-73.  The breaker showed short lateral action action early with more depth in to the outing.  Minimized hard contact and used the fastball up in the zone of put away hitters.
