Luis Sosa (2027, Thomasville, N.C.) is a 5-foot-3, 128-pound primary catcher who turned in a multi-hit game in the win. At the plate, Sosa stayed short through the hitting zone with a direct swing path and hand-eye helping him adjust regardless to where pitches entered the zone. Luis made hard contact all game long with gap-to-gap result and paired his hitability with athleticism and acumen on the bases.

Landen Johnson (2028, Hampton, S.C.) is a 6-foot, 140-pound primary righthanded pitcher and first baseman who turned in a 1-for-2 day at the plate with a run scored, RBI, and triple. On the three-bagger, Johnson got the bat head out and generated nice leverage to drive the ball with carry to the gap. A good athlete, Johnson moved well on the bases with aggression and acumen, never slowing down thinking three out of the box. Landen has noticeable feel for the leather at first with ability to receive all throws and hard contact off the bat at the corner spot.

Chandler Smith (2027, Vidalia, Ga.) is a 5-foot-6, 150-pound primary outfielder and righthanded pitcher who showcased pitchability on the mound during his clean inning of work. Needing just nine pitches to complete his assignment, Smith filled the zone nearly 80% and produced swing-and-miss result the entire time with his repertoire. Smith’s mix of a fastball in the mid-60’s, and a curveball with good shape in the mid-50’s, baffled his opponent on his way to no hits and two-strikeouts.

Halen Bennett (2026, Cartersville, Ga.) is a 6-foot-1, 140-pound, tall, strong and projectable primary shortstop who displayed keen actions in all phases. At the plate, Halen turned in a multi-hit game, with twitch, a direct swing path, and good torque generation with his lower half. With present power to the gaps and feel for wood, Bennett consistently got the bat head out to make strong contact in each at-bat. A good athlete, Bennett looks the part in the infield with first step-quickness, feel for the glove, and a strong arm across.

Jake Brannon (2027, Milton, Ga.) made impressive contact during the contest ending the day 1-for-2 with a triple, RBI and run scored. At the plate, Brannon displays patience and works into fastball counts during each at-bat. With comfortability in the box, Brannon looks the part at 6-foot, 155-pounds, with a clean level to high left-handed swing path that stays through the hitting zone a long time, aiding his success. A primary outfielder, Brannon tracks hard hit results well and has the necessary range and feel for the glove to make all plays hit his way.

Bobby Wooton (2027, Macon, Ga.) is a 5-foot-8, primary shortstop, righthanded pitcher and utility ballplayer who performed well in all phases. At the plate, turned in a 1-1 day with a double, run scored, and RBI. At the plate, Wooton swings with noticeable strength and makes solid contact out front with extension and feel for the barrel. Also appearing on the mound, Wooton continued to showcase his athleticism and strike out three over two-full featuring a fastball up to 76-mph, and a curveball with feel in the low 60’s.

Braden Griffin (2026, Thomasville, Ga.) continued to showcase his feel for the game as he went 1-for-1 at the plate with a double and RBI to the pull side gap. Looks the part in the box and has the ability to adjust on the fly the ability to pick up spin in the box. A sound athlete, Griffin moves well in all phases including range to either side laterally in the middle of the infield. Griffin also has a strong arm in the infield that produces throws with carry through the bag.

Ty Hunter (2028, Meridianville, Ala.) shot a good fastball to the opposite gap for a single. Did a nice job staying on the pitch with hand-eye coordination and feel for the barrel, seeing it deep into the zone with strength in the hands and patience. A sound defender, Hunter has feel for the leather and good athleticism to make all plays hit his way.

Brock Johnson (2027, Warner Robins, Ga.) displayed advanced feel in all phases as he made hard, barreled contact at the plate, and displayed range, first-step quickness at shortstop with feel for the leather. A good athlete, Johnson looks the part in the middle-infield as he makes most plays look routine.

Rylan Jesse (2027, Pennington Gap, Va.) struck out the side during the first inning of his relief outing. With a projectable frame and build at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds, Jesse looks the part and uses it to his advantage on the mound, driving straight to the plate with keen rhythm and timing. Deploys a full windup from the third base side of the rubber with a short arm-action with a tense delivery from a high-three-quarter slot. Featured a two-pitch mix of a fastball up to 73-mph with angle and a curveball up to 68-mph with nice shape, depth, and the ability to throw it for strikes in all counts.

Sean Smith (2026, Prattville, Ala.) started for his club and worked two, no-hit innings with a strikeout and no walks. Filled the zone over 50% with his 30-pitches working ahead of most of the hitters he faced. To navigate his assignment, he mixed a fastball up to 65-mph with life through the zone and good angle, as well as a curveball with angle and downer bite in the high 50’s, high of 60-mph. 

Gavin Jenkins (2027, New Castle, Ind.) turned in a multi-hit game at the plate. The lefthanded hitting first baseman and outfielder hits from a square stance with nice rhythm and timing in the box. With evident hand-eye coordination and feel for the barrel, Jenkins stayed on time with all pitches he saw, turning in two barrels to the gaps. One of his hits went for a triple with underway speed on the bases and aggression. Also stole a base with first step quickness and nice anticipation.

Marcus Kornegay (2027, Charlotte, N.C.) a primary righthanded pitcher, showcased the hit tool with an RBI double to the pull side gap. Evident feel for the barrel and keen rhythm and timing in the box. Stayed patient and worked the count in his favor, then capitalized on a fastball in the zone. Hitting very well this weekend.

Halen Bennett (2026, Cartersville, Ga.) is a 6-foot-1, 140-pound primary shortstop and righthanded pitcher. Displayed advanced actions in the box on the way to a multi-hit game including a double to the to the backside gap. Quick twitch and feel for the barrel apparent. Direct swing path with hand-eye coordination as well. A good athlete, Bennett displays feel for the leather and a strong arm at shortstop.

Leyton Guhl (2027, Indian Trail, N.C.) is a 5-foot7, 132-pound, outfielder and catcher who turned in a multi-hit game. Working to the middle of the field and pull side, Guhl has twitch in the box and a quick swing path through the hitting zone that made strong contact each at-bat. A good athlete, Guhl displayed easy speed with first step quickness on the bases and in the infield. Used his speed for his club’s benefit advancing into scoring position time and again with aggression and clean ‘dirt-ball-reads’.

Braden Griffin (2026, Thomasville, Ga.) earned the start for his club and sat in the low 60’s while mixing in a curveball for swing-and-miss. Working 2.1 innings to the tune of three-strikeouts and no-earned runs, Griffin filled the zone nearly 50% and ran a fastball up to 64-mph. To add to his effectiveness, he would mix in a curveball with feel and depth in the mid-50’s in all counts.

Nolan Ellington (2027, Matthews, N.C.) helped his club in all phases in the win. At the plate, Ellington has strength and quick twitch actions that allow him to get the barrel out and make strong line-drive contact with carry to the gaps. A well rounded, two-way talent, Nolan worked two-innings on the mound featuring clean actions and a smooth and loose arm action with nice extension out front. Finished with a hit stranded and two strikeouts. Featured a fastball up to 78-mph and a curveball in the mid-60’s.

Reed Osborne (2028, Stanley, N.C.) is a 5-foot-8, 120-pound, tall, lean, and athletic hard throwing righthanded pitcher. Osborne was excellent during his start as he worked 3 innings to the tune of three hits stranded, and three strikeouts. On the mound, Osborne deploys a full windup from the third base side of the rubber. Reed was impressive with his repertoire of a fastball up to 70 with life, and a curveball in the mid-50’s with good shape. Osborne was able to work ahead of most, collecting early weak contact all game long, and collecting plenty of swing and miss. A good athlete, Osborne was able to field his position and pair his clean actions with accurate throws to bases.

Marcus Kornegay (2027, Charlotte, N.C.) started for his club and worked two, no-hit innings with two strikeouts. With evident athleticism to his operation on the mound, Kornegay worked straight to the plate and mixed a fastball up to 66-mph. Displayed ability to add and subtract with a changeup in the mid-50’s as well with tumble and some arm-speed. A good athlete, Kornegay fielded his position well, demonstrated feel for his glove, and made strong throws with carry to bases for outs. Impressively protected and maintained a scoreless game for three-innings.

Johnson Dubose (2026, Atlanta, Ga.) is a hard throwing righthanded pitcher with a projectable frame and easy delivery. Deploys a long and loose arm action with extension out front on his fastball. Moved his fastball around the zone, working up to 76-mph. To add to his heaters effectiveness, he mixed in a curveball in the high 50’s with 11/5 shape, and a changeup with arm-speed for sell. Dubose would also reach base with a single up the middle during his second at-bat. Displayed barrel control, and evident extension to get the bat-head out and drive a fastball back up the box.

Ty Hunter (2028, Meridianville, Ala.) is a 5-foot-4, 100-pound southpaw and outfielder. Performing well in all phases, Hunter would appear on the mound and work three innings to the tune of four hits scattered and six ‘K’s’. With advanced ability to fill the zone with his mix, Hunter threw strikes in all counts ending with a 60 % strike rate, an impressive feat. What also helped was that Ty collected swing-and-miss with his mix as well throughout. A good athlete, Hunter would reach base at the dish as well with a single up the middle. Twitch and hand-eye evident at the plate helped aid in his knock.

Gavin Jenkins (2027, New Castle, Ind.) displayed nice pitchability and worked off the third base side of the rubber with an abbreviated windup. Featured nice flexibility with ability to work down the mound well. Worked ahead of most throughout the start and navigated his assignment with a fastball that sat in the low 70’s, high of 75-mph, and a curveball at 63-mph. With noticeable feel for his repertoire, Jenkins’ mix had life and arm-side run on his fastball down in the zone, and depth to his curveball which created a lot of swing-and-miss on the way to three-hitless innings with 4 strikeouts. Filled the zone throughout his start, working ahead of most on the way to filling the zone over 60 %. A good athlete, Jenkins displayed the wherewithal to field his position with feel for the leather and accurate throws to bases.

Landen Johnson (2028, Hampton, S.C.) is a 6-foot, 140-pound righthanded pitcher and earned the start for his club. A projectable arm, Johnson worked down the mound with smooth actions and a quick and clean arm action that released his mix with extension out front. Johnson uses his 6-foot, 140-pound frame to drive down the mound, and work into his lower half well, aiding his control and fueling his pitches towards the plate. To navigate this assignment, he worked off a fastball that sat in the mid-70’s, with life and ride through the zone. Landen also displayed feel for a two-pitch off-speed mix of a curveball up to 67-mph with 11/5 shape and depth, and developing feel for a changeup at 70-mph. When all was said and done, Johnson finished with 5 punchouts and just under a 60% strike rate.

Brock Johnson (2027, Warner Robins, Ga.) rolled through his 2-inning relief assignment. Unphased, he struck out four, needing just 19-pitches to complete the assignment. With a stretch only delivery, Johnson worked ahead of most, filling the zone over 70% of the time. Collecting a bunch of swing-and-miss with his repertoire, Johnson worked ahead early and often with a fastball up to 75-mph, and a curveball in the low-60’s. With evident pitchability, Johnson battled on the mound with impressive confidence and athleticism. A primary shortstop, Johnson showcased feel for the position early in the game with first step quickness, feel for the leather, a strong arm, and accuracy across from multiple slots.
