Logan Sorrel (2026, Baton Rouge, LA) showed impressive two way potential today, working two strong innings on the mound and ripping a base hit up the middle in his first at bat.  He has a smooth motion that leads to easy velocity, running the fastball up to 84 mph.  He’s able to work a power curveball off it and can land it for strikes.

 

Andrew Sharp (2026, Bosser City, LA) made the most of his opportunities in this one, ripping a single to start the game for his team.  He would show off the speed by stealing a base en route to scoring a run.  He has a balanced swing and does a nice job of letting the ball travel into the hitting zone.

 

Demetri Williams Jr. (2023, Haughton, LA) is consistently on time at the plate and it paid off in his first at bat as he roped a base hit back up the middle.  He used a shorter swing path on this swing and stayed through it nicely.

 

Jawon Springs (2025, Mobile, AL) had a nice outing on the mound today, working three solid innings.  He has a short arm action with good hand speed that allowed him to run the fastball up to 84 mph.  He works a nice breaking ball off it with sharp break that generates swings and misses.

 

Lenny Cline (2025, Kenner, LA) showed aggressiveness at the plate in this one, jumping all over a first pitch fastball and sending a screaming line drive to left center field that went over the fence for a home run.  He has a strong swing and makes consistently hard contact.

 

Drew Harrison (2024, Madison, MS) stayed through the ball nicely and sent a line drive down the line for a stand up double in one of his at bats in this game.  He has nice speed and has shown talent in all facets of the game this weekend.

 

Ethan Kelley (2024, Monroe, LA) did a nice job of keeping his weight back and letting a curveball travel before sending it over the left field fence for his second home run of the day.  He is a strong athlete that has nice balance and quick hands through the zone.

Ethan Kelley (2024, Monroe, La.) hit a long home run to left field in the bottom of the first. The right-handed stick utilizes a level bat path, and the ball jumps off the barrel.

Lenny Cline (2025, Kenner, La.) tossed a pair of scoreless innings and pounded the zone with 65% strikes. He ran the heater up to 83 and paired it with a tight slider.

Ahmad Owens (2024, Harvey, La.) picked up a knock to lead off the top of the third. The outfielder possesses a solid all-around tool set.

Trey Esteve (2023, Belle Chasse, La.) laced a liner on the first pitch he saw for a knock. Esteve gets the barrel on plane early with solid bat speed.

Carsen Hebert (2025, Bourg, La.) pounded the zone and ran his heater up to 78 mph. The righty ended his outing tossing three scoreless, no-hit innings. He also picked up a knock with the bat.

Landyn Bullock (2026, Georgetown, Texas) tossed three scoreless frames. The southpaw mixed his pitches effectively, showing great feel to spin his breaker.

Preston Dabdoub (2025, Baton Rouge, La.) picked up a hit in his final at-bat, sending one to deep left field. He also threw a solid couple of innings on the mound.

Zachary Joubert (2025, Baton Rouge, La.) worked both of the gaps while staying short and direct to the ball with good bat speed.

Jonas Louis (2023, Harvey, La.) produced lots of barrels while engaging the lower-half well and creating some length.

Ryan Darrah (2025, River Ridge, La.) had a consistent round with plenty of barrels while staying on a level bat path.

Bradley Hanlon (2024, Monroe, La.) produced loud barrels, showing his best juice to left centerfield.

Bricen Page (2024, Winnfield, La.) showed solid bat speed with a hands-driven stroke and some lift to his path.

Logan Sorrel (2026, Baton Rouge, La.) displayed projectable power, creating whip with jump off the barrel.

Lenny Cline (2025, Kenner, La.) swung with lots of intent, sending a couple out of the park to left center.

Drew Harrison (2024, Madison, Miss.) used a simple stroke with heaviness to the barrel and pop to both gaps.

Reece Pierre (2023, Pride, La.) had a solid round, showing comfort to lift the ball to left centerfield.

Michael Relle (2025, Covington, La.) had a consistent round, finding barrels while creating length.

Tanner Nguyen (2024, Farmerville, La.) showed some power stuff, working mostly in the 83-85 range with his heater and pairing it with a sharp, late breaking slider at 73. Nguyen pitches with lots of intent with standout arm speed.

Hayden Pearson (2025, Lafayette, La.) pounded both sides of the plate showed feel to locate his fastball and curveball. The heater lived at 77-80 and the curveball showed tight spin at 68-70.

Michael Relle (2025, Covington, La.) collected a knock in the top half of the second, sending a sharp grounder up the middle. He showed off the speed on the basepaths stealing second immediately.

Drew Harrison (2024, Madison, Miss.) went deep in the top of the third, jumping off the bat and clearing the left field fence by plenty. Harrison possesses a heavy barrel accompanied by good bat speed. He also topped at 89 on the mound with a full four-pitch mix.

Adler Roussel (2025, Baton Rouge, La.) mashed a liner into left field for a knock in the top of the second. He impacts the ball with plenty strength out front and the power projects.

Andrew Sharp (2026, Bossier City, La.) jumped on a fastball, grounding it sharply up the middle to bring across a run. Sharp possesses a smooth stroke with fluidity to the barrel.

Ryan Darrah (2025, River Ridge, La.) worked mostly in the 78-80 range with his fastball. He flashed an 11-5 shaped curveball and has plenty length and projection.

Trevor Breaux (2024, Houston, Texas) showed out on both sides of the ball. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound right-hander sat 82-84 with his heater, featuring heavy sink. In his second at-bat, he struck a hard liner the other way for a base knock.

Jonas Louis (2023, Harvey, La.) showed off some barrel skills, getting to a pitch at the top of the zone to line it into center for a knock. The left-handed bat is talented on both sides of the ball, also offering strong defensive capabilities at first and in the outfield.

Austin Lee (2023, Biloxi, Miss.) tossed a clean and efficient three innings, surrendering only one hit while punching out four. Lee mixed and sequenced his pitches well.

Dylan Kotlar (2023, Bellville, Texas) collected a pair of knocks with the bat. The right-handed bat uses a line drive-oriented stroke and stays direct to the ball.

Luke Falgout (2025, Lafayette, La.) got ahold of a fastball, sending it over the left centerfield fence for a home run. The Louisiana native swings with intent with lift through the zone.
